Windsor Mobile Country Club Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the Windsor, California area, Windsor Mobile Country Club, located at 8109 Conde Ln, Windsor, CA 95492, USA, presents a community with mixed feedback regarding its environment and management. The park can be contacted at (707) 838-2524 or +1 707-838-2524 for inquiries. While one review highlights the park's cleanliness, friendly residents, quiet atmosphere, and appealing amenities, another long-term resident expresses significant concerns about recent changes and management practices.
From the perspective of someone looking for "RV parks near me," Windsor Mobile Country Club offers several potentially attractive features. One reviewer, whose mother-in-law lives in the park, consistently found it to be "clean" with "really nice and very friendly" residents. A clean environment and a welcoming community are often high priorities for RV travelers seeking a comfortable and pleasant stay. The reviewer also notes that the park is "very quiet," which can be a significant draw for those looking for a peaceful retreat.
For those traveling with pets, Windsor Mobile Country Club boasts a "nice big enclosed dog park." This is a valuable amenity that allows dog owners to let their pets exercise and socialize in a secure environment. A dedicated dog park can greatly enhance the experience for RVers who travel with their furry companions, providing a convenient and safe space for their dogs to enjoy.
The park also features a "great clubhouse" and an "even better" pool, according to the positive review. A clubhouse often serves as a central gathering place for residents and can offer various amenities and activities. A well-maintained pool is another significant recreational amenity, providing an opportunity for relaxation and exercise, especially during warmer months. These facilities could be appealing to RV visitors looking for opportunities to socialize and unwind during their stay.
The reviewer who recommended the place to live suggests that Windsor Mobile Country Club has the potential to be a desirable community. However, a contrasting perspective is offered by a resident who has lived in the park for seven years. This long-term resident notes that while it was a "beautiful park" upon their arrival, significant changes have occurred that have negatively impacted their experience.
One of the primary reasons this resident chose to buy their home in Windsor Mobile Country Club was the presence of visitor parking directly across the street, shaded by "three beautiful mature oak trees" and featuring an arbor where one could sit. This area also included a grassy space where their grandchildren enjoyed playing. The resident reports that the "corporate office decided to cut the three oaks down" and "removed the arbor to put in solar panels and throughout the park." This removal of mature trees and a valued amenity represents a significant environmental and aesthetic change within the park, and the decision-making process appears to have been made at a corporate level, potentially without significant local input.
The long-term resident also expresses concern about the management's communication, stating that management "does not keep you informed to what major or minor changes are being done within the park." This lack of transparency and communication can be a significant issue for residents and could also be a concern for potential RV visitors who value clear and timely information regarding park operations and any ongoing changes.
The resident concludes by describing the park as "horribly ran with no concern for the owners." This strong negative sentiment raises serious questions about the current management practices and the overall quality of life within the community from the perspective of a long-term homeowner. While RV visitors are not homeowners, these concerns about management's responsiveness and consideration for residents could potentially impact the experience of short-term guests as well.
Considering the perspective of someone searching for "RV parks near me," Windsor Mobile Country Club presents a mixed picture. On the one hand, there are reports of cleanliness, friendly residents, a quiet atmosphere, a dog park, a clubhouse, and a pool. These are all desirable features for RV travelers. On the other hand, a long-term resident expresses significant dissatisfaction with recent changes, the loss of mature trees and an amenity, and a perceived lack of communication and concern from the management. These negative aspects should also be taken into consideration.
For potential RV visitors, it would be prudent to inquire about the current state of the park, the availability and condition of RV sites, the amenities offered to RV guests, and any ongoing or planned changes within the park. It would also be helpful to understand the park's policies regarding communication with guests and how management addresses concerns.
While the positive review suggests a pleasant environment and good amenities, the negative review raises red flags about management practices and the potential for unexpected changes. It is important for those considering Windsor Mobile Country Club as one of their "RV parks near me" to weigh these contrasting perspectives and to seek current and detailed information from the park management directly.
In conclusion, Windsor Mobile Country Club in Windsor, CA, offers some appealing features such as a clean and quiet environment, friendly residents, a dog park, clubhouse, and pool, as reported by one reviewer. However, potential visitors should also be aware of the concerns raised by a long-term resident regarding recent significant changes, lack of communication from management, and an overall negative perception of the park's operation. Direct communication with the park management is crucial to obtain a comprehensive and up-to-date understanding of what Windsor Mobile Country Club currently offers to RV guests and to assess whether it meets their needs and expectations.

Jun 23, 2021 · judy shoffaBest 55+ park in the county. This park is always so clean. The landscaping is amazing. The park is 47 acres and there are only two Landscapers, who do a fantastic job.Resident Owned Parks,Inc. is doing a super job of managing the park. Most people who move here, never leave.
Mar 17, 2017 · Strudel HeimanWe moved here two years ago and have found the park to be a quiet lovely place . We have met many nice people here and Kevin has been a pleasure to deal with.We especially love all of the trees, green areas, and the creek that runs through the property . We recommend this park to our friends and relatives.
May 17, 2021 · Janella TippeyI loved the trees (and shade they provided), birds, and green space across the street from my house. But now there is an industrial solar panel project underway, which has involved cutting down multiple trees to make way for the installation of solar panels above parking places, dog areas, and other open spaces throughout the mobile park (15 separate locations apparently). What once seemed like a miniature park across the street from me now has the look of a barren prairie. We fear what a sea of solar panels will do to the overall look and feel of this mobile park--the open spaces and beautiful trees were a major factor for many of us in our decision to purchase here. In spite of our efforts to save the trees and environment, the property owner ignored our phone calls and petition drive, which stated our concerns. Instead, they went ahead with their solar paneling project. BTW-in spite of the name "Resident-Owned Park" - it isn't.
