Silverton Estates Introduce
For local users in Monroeville, Indiana, and those searching within the "RV parks near me" category looking for potential long-term living options, Silverton Estates, located at 20828 Alliger St, Monroeville, IN 46773, USA, presents a mobile home community with a mix of recent positive developments and past challenges. Understanding these nuances is crucial for anyone considering residing here.
Recent feedback suggests a significant positive shift within Silverton Estates. One resident, who initially expressed concerns, updated their review to a full five stars, attributing this improvement to the efforts of an individual named Dustin. According to this updated review, the community has experienced notable enhancements, including the installation of new lighting, the removal of a dead tree, and updates to the facilities, resulting in a cleaner and more appealing environment. Furthermore, this resident highlights the improved responsiveness of the management, noting that concerns and complaints are now handled promptly. This positive transformation in the past year suggests that Silverton Estates is actively working towards improving the living experience for its residents.
However, it is important to consider previous experiences shared by other residents. One review details a negative experience that began shortly after the deposit was paid. Initially, communication with the community manager was reported as efficient and helpful. However, this changed drastically after the deposit was received, with communication becoming "dismal." The resident reported having to persistently follow up and even physically visit the office to get a response from the community manager.
Adding to these communication issues, the same review mentions conflicting information being provided by different office staff members, particularly regarding payment procedures. The lease agreement reportedly stated that rent payments should be made via money order, which the resident followed. However, these payments were not reflected in the online portal. Upon visiting the office, another staff member allegedly stated that checks or money orders were not accepted, contradicting the lease agreement. The resident also claimed they were not informed about the correct payment method upon moving in.
The payment discrepancies continued, with prior payments not appearing on the portal and a subsequent payment attempt being rejected for "not being the full amount due," despite the resident attempting to make the payment they believed was correct. This situation led to further frustration and a continued struggle to communicate with the community manager, who reportedly offered repeated promises of resolution without concrete action.
This detailed negative experience highlights significant issues with communication, administrative processes, and potentially a lack of coordination within the management office at the time of the review. Such inconsistencies and difficulties in managing payments and providing clear information can create considerable stress and inconvenience for residents.
In contrast to the administrative and communication challenges, another resident shared a positive experience regarding the maintenance service. This review mentions experiencing heating and cooling issues for a significant portion of their lease. However, during a recent incident with a malfunctioning heating system, the maintenance team responded remarkably quickly. They reportedly arrived at the resident's home within 20 minutes of the phone call, even before office hours, and ensured the issue was properly resolved, preventing discomfort during freezing temperatures. This positive feedback indicates that the maintenance staff is capable and responsive, which is a crucial aspect of a well-functioning residential community.
Considering these varied experiences, Silverton Estates appears to be a community undergoing a period of change and improvement, particularly in terms of overall environment and responsiveness to resident concerns, as highlighted in the updated positive review. The efforts of the new management, specifically Dustin, seem to be making a tangible difference. However, potential residents should also be aware of the past issues related to communication and administrative inconsistencies, as detailed in the earlier negative review.
For individuals searching "RV parks near me" who might be considering Silverton Estates for long-term mobile home living, it would be prudent to inquire specifically about the current management practices, communication protocols, and payment procedures. Understanding the current processes for addressing resident concerns and managing administrative tasks will be essential in making an informed decision.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of the current state of Silverton Estates, prospective residents are encouraged to contact the management directly at (260) 623-6317 or +1 260-623-6317. Inquiring about lot availability, lease terms, community rules and regulations, and the amenities offered would be beneficial. It would also be wise to ask about the specific steps taken to address the communication and administrative issues raised in past reviews.
Visiting Silverton Estates in person would allow potential residents to assess the current environment and the condition of the facilities, as mentioned in the updated positive review. If possible, speaking with current residents could provide further insights into the recent improvements and the overall living experience under the current management.
The provided information does not include any specific promotional offers. Therefore, it is recommended that prospective residents inquire directly with the management about any current incentives or special deals for new residents.
In conclusion, Silverton Estates in Monroeville, Indiana, presents a complex picture based on recent and past resident reviews. While there is evidence of significant positive changes and improved responsiveness under the current management, particularly Dustin, potential residents should also be aware of previously reported issues concerning communication and administrative processes. For those searching within "RV parks near me" for a mobile home community, Silverton Estates warrants further investigation, with a focus on understanding the current management practices and the overall living environment. Direct communication with the management and a visit to the property are highly recommended to form a well-informed opinion.

Silverton Estates Reviews
Update!!!!I changed this to 5 stars. Thanks to Dustin, the community has improved a ton! New lights, dying tree gone, updated a cleaner looking facilities, not to mention concerns and complaints are handled ASAP. Much better in the year I’ve lived here 😊The company seemed great at first impression. Questions were answered quickly and things seemed smooth…until they receive my deposit. After that, communication with the community manager has been dismal. If she gets back to me, it is after much nagging and literally driving across town to show up at her office. The other gal working in the office gives conflicting information to the community manager and to what our lease agreement states. The lease stated we must pay with money order, which we did. Just for the payment not be reflected in their portal. When we showed up to the community manager’s office, the other gal working there said they do not accept check or money order, even though the lease states otherwise. When we stated we didn’t know that she said, “nobody showed you how to pay for rent?” NOPE!When we finally get on the portal, none of our prior payments had been reflected. Then when we tried to make the correct payment, THEY REJECTED THE PAYMENT for “not being the full amount due”So now we are back to waiting on this community manager that rarely answers any communications but gives endless promises of “sorting it out”My experience since giving them any money has been a nightmare. If you have other options, pick those and steer clear of this convoluted community management company and absent community manager.
Dec 12, 2023 · Courtney BakerHad heating/cooling issues for most of my lease. But this last time when I called in about my heat not working properly they had maintenance at my house within 20 min after the phone call (before office hours) to make sure they got it fixed properly so my son and I wouldn’t be cold during the freezing temperatures! So thank you!(:
Mar 05, 2023 · Ally MurphyWe have lived here a total of 4 years now and yes not much has been done to improve it but amy cox did her best to get things cleaned up. they recently changed owners who is vineyards property Management... They have no maintenance crew, the manager is unreachable, they haven't mowed the vacant lots yet this year and they are all about 6 inches tall, they just installed all new water meters so they can charge us more for water and yet they raised the lot rent $25... The community itself as far as people who live here all stick together and watch out for each other... Overall we don't mind living here just hope the new owners put some effort into it and not just sit back and collect money from us!
May 11, 2022 · Melinda FluttrowMy application was recieved. I was given a tour of the place. Was told there was central air, which worked perfectly as I was moving in the middle of August with young kids however after I moved in found out that was incorrect. I did not have central air. I finally got my keys but felt like I had to continually hound for keys and information to get moved in and to get the portal to pay my rent. The communication isn't the greatest but once I got in and got settled it's been a smooth process and haven't had any issues since.
Oct 04, 2022 · Cori JohnstonLived here 12 years tore my place down because they tried to screw me over never got title I paid in full was on time w rent and constantly harassed by owner some of the residents are cool real ppl others are snakes high turn over rate of staff n tenants place really doesn't have much to offer since rents so high.
