Skyline Ranch RV Park Reviews
This was our 3rd year at Skyline and we already have reservations for year 4. Some friends of ours Penne and Herb Hart recommended this Ranch and we love it. So much to do, corn hole 7 days a week, Monday is card bingo, Tuesday is movie night and Wednesday is a free night to enjoy sitting out with friends that have become our 2nd family. Thursday is regular bingo, Friday is game night. Sunday is ice ream social. There are craft classes every 2 weeks pot lucks once a month (sometimes more). Lou Mack, one of the family owners works his tail off to keep thing maintained and working. We have 2 beautiful rec halls the bigger one for when we all get there and rallies and the smaller one for smaller groups before we all get there. So many of us keep coming back every year and now we are just one big family. The Mack family invited us all to the grand opening of the bronze sculptures of Mom and Dad Mack at the Western Museum. They provided food and drinks for all. There is beautiful wildlife like Roadrunners, Armadillos and Dear galore. The wifi doesn't support streaming but otherwise it's good, there is cable TV. It's a beautiful peaceful place to spend our winter months away from the snow in Indiana.
Apr 12, 2025 · Faye WhitakerWe have stayed here for three winters. It is a natural wonderland. We love to watch the deer and there are so many birds and other wildlife to see and hear. The grass does have weeds but it's because the owners are wanting to preserve the natural atmosphere. They have lots of activities if you want to join in on the fun, and if they don't offer it just ask and they will try very hard to make it happen. Last spring we wanted "line dancing " and the activities director made it happen. So Fun!! A few complain about Lou, one of the owners, but if you just take the time to get to know him, and obey the park rules, he is really a good guy.No they don't have pickle ball or a pool, but they do have the Medina River, which is just beautiful and peaceful. A they have nature all around you.If you are looking to get out of the city, this is a great place to stay. Wonderful people, very clean facilities, and a quiet, peaceful atmosphere.
Apr 12, 2025 · Sandy BeachWe love this rv park! There are great laundry and showering facilities, a nice big library and puzzle selection. The park has a shuffle board area and horseshoe pit. There are a few exercise machines but the best exercise is the almost half mile walk to the river! It’s quiet and peaceful. You can see loads of deer and an occasional armadillo. This park has a real down home feel, like a small town community. The lots are nicely spaced apart with room for a group of friends to sit and visit. A picnic table is provided at each site. Everyone helps everyone else out. There are activities to do every day, if you like. They include: card bingo, movie night, regular bingo, game night, ice cream socials and happy hour every day with the corn hole tournament! There are also monthly potlucks and holiday parties. They are working on adding a dog park and have added apartments and cabins to rent.
Mar 07, 2025 · Denise HunterGreat stop in our way through the area. Ice, laundry and showers onsite. Great bar in walking distance and a lot of wildlife. Staff is friendly and courteous. There was a miscommunication that cost me an extra day of rent. if you make reservations, the “through” date is interpreted as your “last full day”, not the day you check out. We were surprised when they thought we left a day early.
May 21, 2024 · Rich tAvoid this place like the plague. Not much to do. No pickel ball, no pool, no hot tub. No activities except a daily bean bag game, an occasional pot luck. The grounds keeper (Lou) has a "Barney Fife" approach in authority, and zero people skills. Oh, and dont touch their beloved "grass". They get very upset.( the grass is nothing but sparse weeds on dirt, which turns to mud when it rains. Wasted 4 months here.
