For local individuals and families exploring "RV parks near me" in the Tonto Basin, Arizona region, Sleepy Hollow RV Park, situated at 585 Sleepy Hollow Way, Tonto Basin, AZ 85553, USA, offers a potentially peaceful and tucked-away setting. You can reach them at (928) 200-2231 or via their mobile number +1 928-200-2231 for inquiries. Reviews from individuals who have experienced the park provide some insights into its environment and atmosphere, which are valuable for those considering it as a place to stay or live.
Located in the Tonto Basin, Sleepy Hollow RV Park benefits from its position within a scenic area of Arizona, close to the Tonto National Forest and Roosevelt Lake. This region is known for its natural beauty, offering opportunities for outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and exploring the surrounding landscapes. For those seeking "RV parks near me" that provide a quieter and more secluded environment, Sleepy Hollow's location, described as "tucked back a little bit," could be appealing, offering a respite from busier areas.
One customer review describes Sleepy Hollow RV Park as a "sad little RV park" but acknowledges its quietness and somewhat secluded location. The reviewer also notes that "up keep requirements are slim to none," suggesting a more laissez-faire approach to park maintenance and potentially a greater degree of self-governance among residents. This could be viewed positively by those who prefer minimal rules and a more independent living environment, or negatively by those who value well-maintained and highly regulated RV parks. The interpretation of this aspect depends largely on individual preferences and expectations.
Another reviewer highlights the park as "the most peaceful place to live in." This strongly reinforces the notion of a quiet and tranquil environment, which could be a significant draw for those seeking a peaceful long-term living situation or a relaxing getaway when searching for "RV parks near me." This reviewer also mentions the availability of new places for sale within the park, though they express concern about the pricing being "a bit tonhigh" for those on a fixed income, particularly in the context of rising property prices. This suggests that Sleepy Hollow RV Park may offer opportunities for permanent or semi-permanent residency through the purchase of park model homes or similar structures.
The comment about retirement plans ("I'm looking for a place to retire in 5 years time") indicates that Sleepy Hollow RV Park is considered by some as a potential retirement destination, further emphasizing its appeal for longer-term living and its perceived peaceful atmosphere. The mention of fixed incomes and rising prices is a relevant consideration for retirees and others seeking affordable living options in the area.
Given the available reviews, Sleepy Hollow RV Park appears to offer a quiet and potentially long-term living environment within the Tonto Basin. The level of upkeep seems to be minimal, which could contribute to a more natural or less manicured setting. For local users searching for "RV parks near me" who prioritize peace and quiet and potentially a more independent living style, Sleepy Hollow might be worth considering. However, those who prefer meticulously maintained parks with strict regulations might find it less appealing.
To gain a comprehensive understanding of the services and features offered at Sleepy Hollow RV Park, direct contact via phone is recommended. Inquiries should include questions about the availability of utility hookups (water, electricity, sewage) at each site, the condition of the facilities (restrooms, showers, laundry, if available), and any specific amenities or community features the park might offer. Given the mention of places for sale, it would also be beneficial to inquire about the types of accommodations allowed (e.g., traditional RVs, park model homes), the terms of residency, and any associated costs or fees.
As there is no specific promotional information provided, local users interested in Sleepy Hollow RV Park should reach out directly to inquire about current rates for RV sites, the availability and pricing of any properties for sale, and any special offers that might be available. Visiting the park in person, if possible, could provide a firsthand impression of the environment and the general atmosphere, helping potential residents or visitors determine if it aligns with their preferences.
In conclusion, Sleepy Hollow RV Park in Tonto Basin, Arizona, offers a quiet and tucked-away environment that may appeal to those seeking a peaceful retreat or a long-term residence. The level of upkeep appears to be minimal, fostering a more self-governing atmosphere. For local users searching for "RV parks near me," contacting Sleepy Hollow RV Park directly at (928) 200-2231 or +1 928-200-2231 is crucial to obtain detailed information about its services, features, residency options, and current pricing, allowing them to make an informed decision based on their individual needs and preferences.

Sleepy Hollow RV Park Reviews
A sad little RV park. It is quiet and tucked back a little bit. Up keep requirements are slim to none which could be good or bad depending what side of the self governing argument you are on.
Apr 10, 2024 · Jomething IomethingThis is the most peaceful place to live in. However the 2 new places that are for sale are a bit tonhigh I price. But y'all know that. So many living on a fixed-income, and places sky rocket prices. Maybe if I owned my own place I would live here. I'm looking for a place to retire in 5 years time.
Nov 18, 2023 · Lovin' every minuet Of it!Low budget place. Very nice people there. Located a few miles to boat ramp on Roosevelt Lake
Dec 03, 2021 · Jan MarinoNice little out of the way location that is very quiet and well maintained. Close to the lake but far enough you don't hear the noise from the water. Hidden little gem for occasional visits or long stays. Very kind people and has a location for picnics and grilling. Awesome spot to stay.
