Southern Way RV Campground Introduce
When searching for "RV parks near me" in the Fairhope, Alabama region, Southern Way RV Campground at 19500 Boothe Rd, Fairhope, AL 36532, USA, presents itself as an option. To help local users make informed decisions, this introduction provides an objective overview of the campground based on recent feedback available online.
The environment and facilities at Southern Way RV Campground appear to be a point of concern for some visitors. One recent review paints a concerning picture, stating, "Don't go near this place. There are no facilities, the office is old and abandoned with the windows knocked out..." This description suggests a potentially neglected or poorly maintained environment, which may not align with the expectations of those seeking a comfortable and well-serviced RV park.
The same review further elaborates on the condition of the supposed "dog walk," describing it as having "holes in the ground big enough to swallow my cocker spaniel!" This raises significant safety concerns for pet owners considering a stay at Southern Way RV Campground. The discrepancy between this reported condition and the campground's claim of being "pet and family friendly" is noteworthy and should be taken into consideration by potential visitors traveling with animals.
In contrast to the negative feedback, another recent review offers a more positive perspective, stating, "Very clean quiet place I like it here nice landlord I think everything's going to be okay staying here." This contrasting viewpoint suggests a potential inconsistency in the experiences of visitors or perhaps recent improvements. However, it is crucial to acknowledge both positive and negative feedback to gain a balanced understanding.
Regarding services and features, the negative review explicitly mentions "no facilities" and an "old and abandoned" office. This lack of essential facilities could significantly impact the comfort and convenience of a stay. Without further information or a response from the management addressing these concerns, it is difficult to ascertain the full range of services available at Southern Way RV Campground. Potential visitors should inquire directly about the availability and condition of essential amenities such as restrooms, showers, laundry facilities, hookups (water, electricity, sewer), and waste disposal.
The negative review also raises concerns about the owner/manager, describing them as "rude and deceptive." Customer service is a critical aspect of any hospitality business, and such feedback should be taken seriously. Positive interactions with management can significantly enhance the overall experience, while negative interactions can detract from it considerably. The contrasting positive review does mention a "nice landlord," indicating a potential variability in experiences or perhaps a change in management or approach.
The claim of being "pet and family friendly" is directly contradicted by the detailed description of the hazardous dog walk in one review. For families traveling with children and pet owners, the safety and suitability of the environment are paramount. The reported conditions raise serious doubts about the accuracy of this claim and warrant further investigation by potential visitors.
Currently, there is no specific promotional information available in the provided text. Given the conflicting reviews and the serious concerns raised about the facilities and safety, it would be prudent for potential visitors to contact Southern Way RV Campground directly at (251) 331-2604 or +1 251-331-2604 to inquire about the current conditions, available amenities, and any ongoing promotions. It would also be beneficial to seek more recent reviews from various online platforms to gain a broader perspective on the current state of the campground.
In conclusion, based on the limited information available, Southern Way RV Campground in Fairhope, Alabama, appears to have received mixed reviews recently. While one reviewer describes it as a "very clean quiet place" with a "nice landlord," another provides a starkly contrasting account of a campground with "no facilities," a dilapidated office, a dangerous dog walk, and a "rude and deceptive" owner/manager. Potential local users searching for "RV parks near me" should carefully consider these contrasting perspectives and conduct thorough due diligence, including direct inquiries and seeking additional recent reviews, before making a decision about staying at Southern Way RV Campground. The significant discrepancies in the feedback highlight the importance of verifying the current conditions and services offered.

Southern Way RV Campground Reviews
Don't go near this place. There are no facilities, the office is old and abandoned with the windows knocked out, and the owner/manager is rude and deceptive. Plus the 100 square feet of 'dog walk' has holes in the ground big enough to swallow my cocker spaniel! And yet it has the gall to bill itself as pet and family friendly! If this is "Southern Way', give me Canada any day.

Dec 26, 2024 · Mark HallI just transported a car from Lakewood using their auto shipping service. My car showed up in excellent shape! Customer service was really competent and helped me with solutions to problems I didn't know the answers to.
Nov 18, 2022 · Robert JenkinsI think I spoke to Jed Clampet - Denied reservation due to RV over 10 years of age . My Jayco class C looks very new and better than the ones in their website ad. Glad I did not book.
