Secluded Desert Environment Near Gold Butte: Aravada Springs Campground is situated in a "delightfully remote" location, requiring about an hour's drive through the scenic Gold Butte National Monument to reach. The drive itself is described as "beautiful and so worth it once we arrived," suggesting that the journey to the campground is part of the overall appealing experience. The desert environment offers a sense of peace and seclusion, far from the noise of urban areas. The campground provides a "peaceful desert setting" where guests can truly relax and rejuvenate. The clear desert nights likely offer excellent opportunities for stargazing, although this is not explicitly mentioned in the reviews.
Exceptional Services and Lodge Features: One of the standout features of Aravada Springs Campground is the availability of excellent facilities, particularly for groups. Guests who stayed in "Marilyn’s Room" and used the "Rock House Lodge" reported that everything "exceeded our expectations." A significant highlight is the "full kitchen," which was described as a "huge bonus" and "perfect for preparing group meals." This amenity greatly enhances the comfort and convenience of staying at Aravada Springs, making it ideal for families and friends traveling together. The "warm, cozy cabins" are also praised, providing comfortable shelter during cooler spring nights. The overall atmosphere is described as "relaxing and rejuvenating," suggesting a well-maintained and welcoming environment for guests.

The positive reviews consistently recommend Aravada Springs for families, friends, and groups looking to spend quality time together in a peaceful setting.
Unique Natural Pool and Friendly Host: Another unique feature mentioned by a reviewer is a "natural pool." While they were tempted to swim, the water temperature was too low during their visit. The "camp host" is described as "friendly and helpful" and even provided guests with a "great history of the land," enhancing the overall experience with local knowledge and hospitality.
Considerations for Local Users: For local users searching for "camping near me" at Aravada Springs Campground, the overwhelmingly positive reviews suggest a fantastic getaway. However, one reviewer noted that reaching the campground involves about an hour of driving through Gold Butte NM and mentioned that "you probably should have 4 wheel drive to get here though (we didn't, and still made it, but it was a little dicey)." This is an important consideration for local travelers, especially those with vehicles that are not equipped for potentially rougher roads. It would be advisable to inquire about the road conditions when making a reservation. The remoteness of the location also means that guests should come prepared with necessary supplies, although the presence of a full kitchen is a significant advantage.
Goods and Services in the Bunkerville Area: While Aravada Springs Campground offers excellent on-site amenities like a full kitchen, local users might need to consider the availability of goods and services in the nearby town of Bunkerville. This would likely include small grocery stores for stocking up on food, gas stations, and perhaps some local eateries. Given the remote location of the campground, it's wise to plan ahead and bring most of your essential supplies with you. The "camping near me" platform might list businesses in Bunkerville that cater to visitors heading to the Gold Butte area, providing information on where to find necessities before your arrival at Aravada Springs.
Potential Promotional Information: Based on the provided information, there are no specific details about promotional offers for Aravada Springs Campground. However, local users interested in booking a stay should contact the campground directly using the provided phone numbers to inquire about any potential discounts for local residents, group rates, or seasonal specials. Given the positive reviews and the appeal for group bookings, it's possible they might offer packages for families or friends traveling together. Checking their website or any social media presence they might have could also provide information on current promotions or events happening at the campground.
In conclusion, Aravada Springs Campground offers a truly amazing "camping near me" experience for local users seeking a peaceful and well-equipped desert retreat near Gold Butte National Monument. With its full kitchen, cozy cabins, family-friendly environment, and unique natural pool, it's an ideal destination for groups and families. While the remote location and potential need for four-wheel drive are important considerations, the overwhelmingly positive feedback and the friendly host suggest a memorable and rejuvenating getaway. Local users are encouraged to contact Aravada Springs directly to inquire about road conditions and any available promotions to make the most of their desert escape.

Mar 25, 2025 · Travis BallMy SO and I stayed at Aravada Springs for one night and almost had to change our travel plans to stay a second night. The camp is delightfully remote, and takes about an hour of driving through Gold Butte NM to reach. You probably should have 4 wheel drive to get here though (we didn't, and still made it, but it was a little dicey). They have a full service kitchen, which was amazing. We were tempted to swim in the natural pool, but the temps were a bit too low and we had to pass. The camp host was friendly and helpful and gave us a great history of the land.
May 01, 2025 · Allison BurkeWe had a great experience at Aravada Springs. We went with smaller children and the weather wasn't as cooperative. We didn't do any hikes but we stayed around the campground and stayed entertained exploring the campground. We stayed in the deluxe cabins with a little kitchenette and refrigerator. The camp host provided a lot of fun activities for my kids as well as extra cots. Everyone was so friendly. My only complaint was trying to get there. It was a bumpy road and it took longer than expected to get there.
Mar 20, 2025 · Jessica GilesMy family had a great time at Aravada Springs! The cabins and bathrooms were clean and well kept. The staff was freindly. The location was gorgeous. My kids got to kayak in the pond, and when it showed, we played games all day in thier main lodge. We're definitely planning a repeat visit.
Apr 07, 2025 · Emily Bingham CrapoWhat a delightful two days we had at Aravada Springs Campground. I'm not much of a camper and was dreading staying at a campground. What a surprise it was to see this beautiful place. The view out our cabin window was stunning. The newly remodeled cabin was clean, water tasted delicious coming from the spring, the bed was very comfortable (bring your own bedding), and Neil was very welcoming. Because I am somewhat handicapped, I expected to be frustrated and disappointed. Instead, Neil was more than helpful; we felt very special. Thanks, Neil and Victoria. I want to go again.
