Springfield Farms Introduce
For local users in the Brookline, Missouri area, seeking information about "mobile home parks near me" as a potential long-term housing option, Springfield Farms, located at 2754 Harvest Ln, presents a community to consider. While our platform primarily focuses on "RV parks near me" for temporary stays, we understand the importance of providing information about various residential options available to local residents. Springfield Farms offers mobile home living in a rural setting near Brookline. However, the available customer reviews present a starkly contrasting view of the community and its management practices, which potential residents should carefully evaluate.
The environment at Springfield Farms, based on one detailed review, appears to be a source of significant dissatisfaction for at least one former resident. This review describes a situation where "people are literally running from the houses there," suggesting a negative living experience for some. The reviewer also alleges that attempting to sell one's own home within the community is met with obstruction from management, who reportedly do not approve buyers or remove "for sale" signs to prioritize selling or renting their own properties. This paints a picture of a potentially restrictive environment regarding property resale. While another review offers positive feedback about the office staff, it does not directly address the overall living environment or management policies concerning residents. Potential residents should seek further information to gain a balanced understanding of the community's atmosphere and any regulations that may be in place.
Services at Springfield Farms, based on the provided reviews, present a mixed perspective. One positive review specifically commends "Terri and Lacey" in the office for going "above and beyond" to facilitate the sale of a home, describing their guidance as "professional and friendly." This suggests that the office staff can be helpful and supportive in certain situations, particularly those involving property transactions. However, the more critical review alleges a lack of transparency and consistency in the application of community rules. The former resident states that there were "NO declarations or bylaws.....until they want to make up rules," and that these rules are not provided to residents, even at the time of purchase when they are supposedly signed. The review also claims that management "complain about EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE" and that there is a lack of racial diversity within the community, with all residents reportedly needing approval from "the woman running the place." Furthermore, the reviewer states that getting in contact with the owner is "never" possible. These allegations raise serious concerns about the transparency, fairness, and accessibility of the park's management and its services to residents.
Features of Springfield Farms, as described in the reviews, are limited and conflicting. The positive review focuses solely on the helpfulness of the office staff during a home sale. In contrast, the negative review highlights a lack of formal community rules or bylaws, which are allegedly created and enforced arbitrarily by management without providing residents with copies. The alleged practice of requiring management approval for potential homebuyers and obstructing private sales to favor park-owned properties could be considered a significant feature impacting residents' ability to manage their own assets. The reported lack of racial diversity and the claim that all residents must be approved by a specific individual suggest a potentially exclusionary feature of the community's selection process. The inaccessibility of the owner, as claimed by the former resident, could also be seen as a feature that limits residents' ability to address concerns at a higher level of authority.
Promotional information for Springfield Farms is not explicitly provided in the reviews. For local users searching for "mobile home parks near me" in the Brookline area, the positive feedback regarding the office staff might be seen as a positive aspect, suggesting helpfulness with certain administrative processes, particularly property sales. However, the serious allegations in the negative review regarding the lack of transparent rules, obstruction of private sales, alleged discriminatory practices, and inaccessibility of the owner should be given significant consideration. Potential residents are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, including speaking with current residents (beyond those potentially associated with management), reviewing any available community rules and regulations in writing before making a commitment, and attempting to communicate directly with the park owner or a higher level of management to address the concerns raised in the negative review. The stark contrast between the two reviews underscores the importance of seeking multiple perspectives and verifiable information before deciding to reside at Springfield Farms.
The customer reviews for Springfield Farms offer a deeply contrasting perspective on the community. One reviewer expresses extreme dissatisfaction, citing a negative living experience, alleged obstruction of private home sales, lack of transparent rules, constant complaints from management, alleged discriminatory practices, and the inaccessibility of the owner. This review strongly advises potential residents to "RUN." Conversely, another reviewer offers high praise for the office staff, specifically Terri and Lacey, for their helpfulness in facilitating a home sale. This suggests that while there may be positive interactions with certain staff members, there are potentially significant underlying issues with the overall management and community environment, as described in the negative review. The discrepancy between these two accounts underscores the need for prospective residents to conduct thorough research and seek multiple viewpoints before considering Springfield Farms as a long-term living option.
For local users in Brookline, Missouri, exploring "mobile home parks near me," Springfield Farms at 2754 Harvest Ln presents a community with sharply contrasting feedback. While the office staff receives praise for their assistance with a home sale, serious allegations have been raised regarding management practices, transparency of rules, restrictions on property resale, and potential discriminatory behavior. Potential residents are strongly encouraged to exercise caution and conduct extensive research beyond these two reviews. This should include attempting to speak with multiple current residents to gain a broader understanding of the living experience, thoroughly reviewing any community rules and regulations in writing, and attempting to communicate with the park owner or a higher level of management to address the significant concerns that have been raised. The decision to reside at Springfield Farms should be made only after a comprehensive and independent investigation.

Springfield Farms Reviews
Nice that you are writing your own reviews. Try talking to the others renting there about what it is like to live there. People are literally running from the houses there. And if you try to sell your own house, they will not approve the buyer or take your for sale sign off the property so they can sell or rent their own. How do we know this? Lived there for three years and couldn't get out fast enough. There are NO declarations or bylaws.....until they want to make up rules. Then they have them, and you will have signed them when you bought in, but they won't show them or provide them to anyone.......not even when you supposedly sign them. They complain about EVERYTHING AND EVERYONE. There are NO African Americans or Asians living there. Everyone has to be approved by the woman running the place. And getting ahold of the owner? That will never happen. I'm only giving 1 star because I have to. RUN......................
Jan 12, 2025 · Law SquawShout out to the amazing ladies in the office! Terri and Lacey went above and beyond to help facilitate the sale of my home. They jumped into a mess, not of their making, and provided professional and friendly guidance. Don't know what I'd have done without them. Thanks again ladies!A. Starbird
Jan 26, 2025 · Andrew StarbirdBeautiful and clean mobile home park! The grounds are expertly maintained. If I lived in Missouri I'd definitely want to live there!
Sep 19, 2021 · Trish D.We love Springfield Farms. It is a beautiful and wonderful community to be a part of. So many wonderful things available and my Ace loves his new doggy park where he can run and play. The management and grounds crews are top notch! Hey who doesn't love it when someone else mows for you! The best decision we made was to become part of such a great community. ❤️
Jul 01, 2022 · Leandra WagnerThey keep raising the rent. 1-2 times a year. And what do you get in return? Next to nothing. Streets are in poor shape. Cracks 3-4" wide. Sidewalks 5-6" off, the main office is falling apart (literally), the mailboxes are held together by the most rigged solution ever. Homes aren't selling because the rent is so high, there has been homes for sale for over a year now with no prospective buyers.Whatever you do DO NOT buy here! Your home will not go up in value, but down. The lot rent will kill any potential buyers. Sadly, it feels like the business is nothing more than a parasite that preys on its renters. It's business philosophy is charge rent until their home is worth nothing, and then when they try to move out, we will still charge them rent.DO NOT BUY HEREI'd give negative stars if I could.Update: photo of one of the side walks right at the front gate, plus an entire light that is missing on the sidewalk that is then covered with an old coffee can. (Has been for years).
