The presence of well-maintained bathrooms further enhances the overall cleanliness and comfort of the environment.
In terms of services, Stoney Creek RV Resort offers a robust set of amenities designed to enhance the camping experience. All sites are equipped for RVs, and the review suggests they are full hookup ready with level pads. The resort provides clean and well-maintained bathroom facilities, though it's noted that showers cost $0.25 for 4 minutes, which is a detail prospective campers should be aware of. Laundry facilities are also typically available at such resorts. A key service highlighted is the extensive activity program, with "many daily activities throughout the week, not just weekends," and many being "free or low cost." This indicates a strong commitment to keeping guests entertained. The pool area is another central service, offering a clean space with "lots of chairs and tables to watch from." The features of Stoney Creek RV Resort are geared towards providing a comprehensive and entertaining stay. The level concrete pads with picnic tables and fire rings at each site are a significant convenience for RVers, ensuring easy setup and comfortable outdoor living. The resort boasts a clean and well-maintained pool area, a major draw, especially for families. The extensive array of daily activities is a standout feature, distinguishing it from simpler campgrounds and making it a true "resort" experience. These activities are designed to appeal to various age groups and include both free and low-cost options, providing value to guests. The presence of friendly and helpful staff, even if many are high school students, is a testament to the resort's customer service focus. While not explicitly detailed, such resorts often include amenities like a general store for supplies, propane filling stations, and possibly recreational courts or playgrounds beyond the pool. The ability to stay there "start of April" suggests a relatively long operating season, accommodating early spring travelers.
Promotional information for Stoney Creek RV Resort would heavily emphasize its family-friendly nature and the abundance of activities available. For those searching "RV Parks Near Me" in Wisconsin, particularly along the I-94 corridor, Stoney Creek would be promoted as an ideal stopover or a destination in itself. Key promotional points would include its convenient location, the "wonderful park" appearance, and the "great time" promised to guests. The clean and spacious sites with concrete pads would appeal to RV owners. The highlight would undoubtedly be the "many daily activities throughout the week," positioning it as a place where there's always something to do, suitable for children and adults. The clean pool area, friendly staff, and well-kept grounds would also feature prominently. The ability to accommodate early season stays (like April) would be a practical promotional detail for travelers outside peak summer months. Given its amenities, it would likely be positioned as an alternative to more expensive or crowded destinations while still offering a rich experience.
Customer reviews provide valuable and detailed insights into the actual experience at Stoney Creek RV Resort. The feedback is largely positive, with several key aspects highlighted. One reviewer appreciates its location as a "Great stop just off the interstate" and notes its early season availability: "Appreciated the fact that we were able to stay here start of April. Looks like a wonderful park!" This suggests it serves well for travelers on longer journeys. Another comprehensive review from a guest who took their grandchildren provides detailed observations. They were "very pleased with the resort overall."
The staff received positive feedback: "many are high school students, but all the staff were friendly and helpful." This indicates a positive service experience despite a younger workforce. The sites are praised for their quality: "level pad for campers with a concrete pad with picnic table. Spacious with a fire ring," confirming the comfortable setup. Cleanliness is a consistent strong point: "the grounds and buildings were all kept up and clean, especially bathrooms." The pool area is also noted as "clean and lots of chairs and tables to watch from." The variety and frequency of activities are a major positive: "many daily activities throughout the week, not just weekends. Many are free or low cost."
However, the review also points out some downsides. The shower cost ($0.25 for 4 minutes) is mentioned as a minor inconvenience, particularly given the expectation to shower before using the pool without a free rinse shower. More significantly, the reviewer raises concerns about "gambling machine for adults but no supervision to keep kids from using them" and one specific activity, "Candy Bar Horse Races," which "seemed inappropriate for children, encouraging gambling." These are important criticisms regarding the suitability of certain recreational offerings for a family-friendly environment. Despite these specific concerns, the overall sentiment remains positive, concluding with "Overall a great time!"
In conclusion, Stoney Creek RV Resort in Osseo, WI, is a highly-rated, family-friendly RV park well-positioned within the "RV Parks Near Me" category, especially for those traveling on I-94. Its environment is consistently described as clean, well-maintained, and appealing. Services include full hookup sites with concrete pads, clean restrooms (metered showers), and a significant focus on providing a wide array of daily activities. Key features include the spacious sites, a clean pool area, and friendly staff. Promotional efforts would highlight its family-oriented nature and extensive entertainment options. While the resort receives overwhelmingly positive reviews for its facilities, staff, and activities, it faces some criticism regarding certain child-accessible gambling-related entertainment. Prospective visitors, particularly families, should consider these points when planning their stay to ensure it aligns with their expectations for a recreational and family-friendly RV experience.

Aug 10, 2024 · Marie KnutsonOur family loved our time at Stoney Creek. The campground is beautifully maintained and there are so many amenities and activities for all ages. Our campsite was large and level, with a freshly painted picnic table, fire pit, and patio. Everyone was so polite and followed the campground rules, making this a pleasant experience for all. We can't wait to go back!
Jul 10, 2024 · Allison TownsendWhat a fantastic RV park. Has anything for everyone. If you are bored here, it's your own fault. Clean facility, we'll kept grounds, themed weekends, pool, swimming pond, fishing pond, covlnvenience store(s), pizza (made on site) delivery is great. All staff are friendly, helpful and courteous.Been going to Stoney Creek 3-5 times per year, for the last 10+ years, and will continue to be frequent visitors.Only problem is getting a reservation, only because of the great popularity the have generated. We usually book a full year in advance, and even then it can be tough.
Sep 06, 2024 · Jeff DesJardinThis is a great RV park for families, especially. There is so much to do, mini golf, pools, and walking trails. Corinne and the rest of the staff at the park were so welcoming and helpful. It is also located very conveniently by the many state parks and Eau Claire.
