Sun Homes Introduce
If you are searching for “RV parks near me” or a mobile home community in Prince George, Virginia, Sun Homes, located at 400 Swift St, Prince George, VA 23875, warrants careful consideration based on recent customer feedback available online. It is crucial to approach this potential housing option with a thorough understanding of the concerns raised by current residents.
One particularly alarming review details a critical emergency maintenance issue. According to the resident, a sewage pipe burst, resulting in raw sewage contamination of their yard and the area under their trailer. The review indicates a significant delay and lack of initial response to this reported health hazard, affecting not only the resident but potentially their neighbors and pets as well. The presence of feces, toilet paper, and other contaminants poses a serious health risk and raises concerns about the responsiveness of the emergency maintenance services at Sun Homes. The resident's account suggests a breakdown in communication and a failure to promptly address a severe sanitation problem, ultimately leading to the involvement of the local health department.
Another review paints a concerning picture regarding the overall living experience at Sun Homes. This resident strongly advises others to "avoid this place at all costs." The reasons cited for this negative assessment are multifaceted and include a discrepancy between advertised amenities and the reality of the community. The reviewer explicitly states that advertised amenities are nonexistent, and there is "no place for the kids to play." This lack of recreational facilities could be a significant drawback for families with children seeking a community that caters to their needs.
Furthermore, the second review highlights a negative change in the financial aspect of living at Sun Homes. Previously, water and sewage services were reportedly included in the lot rent. However, this is no longer the case, and residents now face an additional expense of up to $200 on top of the base rent for these essential utilities. This significant increase in the cost of living should be a crucial consideration for prospective residents evaluating the affordability of Sun Homes.
Adding to the concerns is the reported instability in the management of Sun Homes. The frequent changes in management can lead to inconsistencies in policies, communication breakdowns, and a lack of continuity in addressing residents' needs. This instability can negatively impact the overall living environment and the sense of community within the park.
Considering the platform category of “RV parks near me,” the negative reviews raise serious questions about the suitability of Sun Homes for recreational vehicle stays, especially for long-term residents. The reported lack of amenities and the potential for maintenance issues could detract significantly from the quality of life for RVers who often rely on well-maintained facilities and a responsive management team. While the reviews do not specifically address RV-related amenities such as hookups, waste disposal, or site conditions, the overall negative sentiment suggests a need for thorough investigation before choosing Sun Homes as an RV park.
In conclusion, the recent customer reviews for Sun Homes in Prince George, VA, present significant concerns that potential residents, whether seeking a mobile home or an RV park, should carefully consider. The reported emergency maintenance failure involving raw sewage poses a serious health and safety risk. The alleged lack of advertised amenities, particularly the absence of play areas for children, and the substantial increase in living costs due to previously included utilities now being charged separately are also major drawbacks. The instability in management further contributes to a potentially unfavorable living environment. Therefore, individuals searching for “RV parks near me” or mobile home communities in the Prince George area are strongly advised to conduct thorough due diligence, including visiting the property, speaking with current residents (if possible), and directly addressing the concerns raised in the online reviews with the management of Sun Homes before making any decisions. It is crucial to ensure that your chosen living environment prioritizes health, safety, transparency regarding costs, and provides the advertised amenities.

Sun Homes Reviews
I called on Sunday to the emergency maintenance number because a sewage pipe busted and raw sewage was all over the yard and under our trailer. I get that we are in a state of emergency but this is a health hazard for us our neighbors and our pets. There is feces, toilet paper and other nasty contaminants in our yard as we speak. I spoke to a gentleman on the phone who told me that there was another caller who had the same issue as ours and that they were calling it in. Well no one showed up yesterday so we called the regular office this morning and low and behold it hadn't been called in! They are supposed to be sending someone out today and depending on their response time I will be calling the health department. I really hope they respond to this appropriately and decontimanate the yard like they are supposed too!
Mar 30, 2020 · Brandi NortonThere really is no way to give a negative stars so I will say, avoid this place at all costs. They advertise amenities, there are none. No place for the kids to play. We use to have our water and sewage included in the lot rent. No more. Now it adds up to 200 more to the base rent. Plus, management is constantly changing.
Aug 30, 2018 · Remington Christopher Yi SpraderDon’t do anything for the rent that we pay here and to top it off the increased it by 200.00. And have the nerve to say that they think it’s a fair market price not a good place to live if u want them to do anything at front office and-manager very rude
