You can contact them at (805) 489-8430 or +1 805-489-8430 for further information.
Sunrise Terrace MHOA is presented as a senior-owned community, suggesting that it caters to residents in their retirement years. One positive review highlights a range of amenities designed to enhance the lifestyle of its owners. These include a swimming pool and spa, providing opportunities for relaxation and recreation. For those who enjoy sports, the community offers tennis and pickleball courts, fostering an active lifestyle. Golf enthusiasts may also find the inclusion of golf facilities appealing, although the specifics of these facilities (e.g., a putting green, a nearby course with community access) are not detailed.
The presence of a banquet room suggests that Sunrise Terrace MHOA provides a space for community gatherings, events, and social functions. This is further supported by the mention of organized social activities, indicating an effort to create a vibrant and engaging community environment for its residents. These features align with the expectations of many seniors seeking an active and social retirement living experience within a mobile home park setting.
However, it is crucial to consider all available feedback when evaluating potential living options. One review presents a contrasting perspective, describing an environment with constant monitoring that goes "beyond rules and regulations." This reviewer characterizes the community's management as a "dictator run organization" and expresses concern regarding the treatment of senior citizens. The review also notes a frequent turnover of homes for sale, attributing it to residents seeking a less restricted living environment.
When exploring "RV parks near me" that function as long-term senior living communities, it's important to reconcile potentially differing opinions and experiences. The significant contrast between the two reviews for Sunrise Terrace MHOA underscores the necessity for prospective residents to conduct thorough personal investigation. This may involve visiting the community, speaking directly with current residents (if possible), and carefully reviewing the community's rules and regulations.
The mention of "senior owned mobile home park" typically implies that the residents have a degree of ownership or control over the community's management and operations, often through a homeowner's association (MHOA stands for Mobile Home Owners Association). This ownership structure can sometimes lead to a strong sense of community and shared responsibility. However, as indicated by one of the reviews, the implementation of rules and regulations within such associations can vary, and it's essential for prospective residents to understand these in detail to ensure they align with their lifestyle preferences.
For individuals considering Sunrise Terrace MHOA as part of their search for "RV parks near me" offering long-term senior living, the availability of amenities like a swimming pool, spa, tennis and pickleball courts, golf facilities, and a banquet room, coupled with organized social activities, could be significant advantages. These features suggest a focus on providing residents with opportunities for recreation, socializing, and an active lifestyle.
Conversely, the concerns raised in the other review regarding excessive monitoring and restrictive rules should not be dismissed. Such an environment might not be suitable for individuals who prioritize a high degree of independence and freedom in their daily lives. The reported frequent turnover of homes could be an indicator of underlying issues that potential buyers should investigate further.
When comparing Sunrise Terrace MHOA with other options in the "RV parks near me" category that cater to seniors, it would be beneficial to inquire about the specific rules and regulations of each community, the frequency and nature of management oversight, and the general atmosphere as perceived by current residents. Understanding the balance between community amenities and individual freedoms is crucial in selecting a long-term living environment.
Prospective buyers should also inquire about any homeowner association fees, rules regarding property maintenance and modifications, and the process for addressing grievances or concerns within the community. These aspects can significantly impact a resident's overall experience.
In conclusion, Sunrise Terrace MHOA presents itself as a senior-owned mobile home park in Arroyo Grande, CA, with a range of appealing amenities and organized social activities. However, potential residents should be aware of contrasting feedback regarding the community's management style and the level of restrictions imposed. Thorough personal investigation is strongly recommended to determine if Sunrise Terrace MHOA aligns with individual preferences for community living and personal freedom. Contacting the park directly at (805) 489-8430 or +1 805-489-8430 is a necessary step in gathering more detailed information and forming a comprehensive understanding of this senior mobile home community within the context of "RV parks near me."

Sunrise Terrace MHOA Reviews
If you liked to be in a place where you are constantly monitored this is the place for you. It goes beyond rules and regulations. It's a dictator run organization. The way they treat senior citizens is shameful. There are always a turn over in homes for sale people wanting to escape and go where they are able to live in a less restricted freedom free environment. BÈWARE! BEWARE! BEWARE!
Jun 17, 2024 · Janice GoenBeautiful Senior owned mobile home park that offers their owners a wide variety of amenities....swimming pool, spa, tennis and pickle ball, golf, banquet room, organized social activities and more.
Mar 14, 2025 · Twila ArrittResident owned, this place is a bit expensive for mobile home living, but the value of your home will actually appreciate here. The amenities are superb with pool, spa, community center, fitness center, tennis courts, bocce, 3-hole pitch and putt, and more. The best thing about it, though, is the social life. The residents organize all their own activities on a volunteer basis, so every event is provided at reasonable cost. And did I mention that they have several $million in the bank? Bottom line, this is a well-managed place that is fun to live in.
