Tamarack Pines Estate Ltd Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Howard City, Michigan area, or considering a longer-term living situation in a mobile home park, Tamarack Pines Estate Ltd, located at 9555 Maple Hill Rd, Howard City, MI 49329, is one option to consider. They can be reached at (231) 937-5501 or +1 231-937-5501 for inquiries. It is important to gather a comprehensive understanding of the community based on available feedback from residents.
While the platform category is "RV parks near me," Tamarack Pines Estate Ltd appears to function primarily as a mobile home park catering to longer-term residents rather than offering short-term RV accommodations. Therefore, individuals specifically looking for temporary RV parking facilities may need to explore alternative options in the Howard City region. However, for those interested in residing within a mobile home community, the experiences shared by current and former residents offer valuable insights.
One recent review describes Tamarack Pines Estate Ltd as a "nice quiet cozy living location hidden in the woods right off a main freeway and highway." This highlights a potentially attractive aspect of the park: its secluded setting within a wooded area, offering a sense of tranquility and privacy. The reviewer also points out the convenience of its location, being situated near a main freeway and highway, which would provide easy access for residents to visit friends and family or commute to other areas. The park is described as "small," which could contribute to a close-knit community feel. The main drawback mentioned in this positive-leaning review is the presence of "alot of pot holes that need fixing" upon entering the park, suggesting a potential issue with road maintenance within the community.
In contrast, another, more critical review from a former resident paints a significantly different picture of Tamarack Pines Estate Ltd. This individual expressed strong dissatisfaction with their experience and was "so happy to get out." Several serious concerns were raised, indicating potential challenges for residents.
One major complaint was the lack of winter maintenance, specifically "no plowing in winter," which could create hazardous conditions for residents during snowy periods. The reviewer also reiterated the issue of "pot holes that kill your vehicles," emphasizing the detrimental impact on personal property due to poor road maintenance. The "play area" is dismissed as a "major joke," suggesting inadequate or unsafe recreational facilities for children within the community.
The former resident also made alarming accusations regarding safety and the overall environment, alleging the presence of "petafiles though out the park" and "drugs galore." These are extremely serious claims that, if substantiated, would indicate significant safety and social issues within the community. It is important to note that these are allegations from a single review, but they warrant consideration.
Financial concerns were also raised, with the reviewer stating that residents "pay more in lot rent than regular rent that covers water sewer and trash but not plowing or hole being filled or to update play area." This suggests that the lot rent may be considered high relative to the services provided and the maintenance issues experienced. The lack of essential maintenance like snow plowing and pothole repair, despite the rent costs, is a significant point of contention.
Safety concerns were further amplified by the mention of "speeders though out so dont let your young one out to play they might get hurt." This indicates a potential disregard for speed limits within the park, posing a risk to pedestrians, especially children. The issue of "dogs always in your yard or stray cats" suggests a lack of effective pet control within the community, potentially leading to nuisances for residents.
The former resident concluded by stating that the park "used to be a beautiful quiet very enjoyable place to live but has become a major joke to the town of Howard City." This implies a significant decline in the quality of living at Tamarack Pines Estate Ltd over time. They also allege a double standard in enforcement, stating, "They dont do their part but you will be fined if you dont do your part." The reviewer ultimately gave the mobile home park a "0 star" rating, indicating extreme dissatisfaction.
Based on these reviews, the environment and potential issues at Tamarack Pines Estate Ltd include:
- Secluded and convenient location: Hidden in the woods yet close to a main freeway and highway.
- Potentially poor road maintenance: Significant issues with potholes upon entering the park.
- Lack of winter maintenance: No snow plowing reported.
- Inadequate recreational facilities: The play area described as a "major joke."
- Serious safety concerns (alleged): Claims of "petafiles" and widespread drug use within the park.
- Speeding vehicles: Posing a safety risk to pedestrians.
- Pet control issues: Problems with stray animals and dogs in yards.
- High lot rent relative to services: Residents paying for basic utilities but not receiving essential maintenance.
- Perceived decline in quality: A former resident suggests a significant deterioration of the park over time.
- Alleged unfair enforcement: Residents fined for infractions while management allegedly neglects their responsibilities.
Services and features typically associated with mobile home parks might include basic utilities (water, sewer, trash), on-site management, and possibly recreational areas. However, the reviews highlight significant shortcomings in essential services like road maintenance and snow removal, and raise serious questions about the safety and overall management of the community.
Promotional information is limited to the first reviewer's description of the location as "nice quiet cozy" and conveniently situated. However, this positive aspect is overshadowed by the serious concerns raised in the second review regarding safety, maintenance, and management. Therefore, any potential promotional value is significantly negated by the negative feedback.
For individuals searching within the "RV parks near me" category, Tamarack Pines Estate Ltd, based on the available information, does not appear to be a recommended option due to the serious safety and maintenance concerns raised by a former resident. The lack of essential services and the alleged presence of criminal activity would likely deter anyone seeking a temporary or permanent residence.
In conclusion, the online reviews for Tamarack Pines Estate Ltd in Howard City, MI, present a stark contrast. While one review highlights the quiet, convenient, and somewhat secluded location, the other raises very serious concerns about the lack of maintenance, significant safety issues, high lot rent relative to services, and a perceived decline in the park's quality. Prospective residents are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough and independent investigations, and carefully weigh the serious allegations before considering Tamarack Pines Estate Ltd as a place to live.

Drugs galore. You pay more in lot rent than regular rent that covers water sewer and trash but not plowing or hole being filled or to update play area. Speeders though out so dont let your young one out to play they might get hurt. Dogs always in your yard or stray cats. Just not worth your money. This place used to be a beautiful quiet very enjoyable place to live but has become a major joke to the town of Howard City. They dont do their part but you will be fined if you dont do your part. Its a 0 star mobile home park.
Jul 02, 2019 · Ella Clack0 Stars if possible. Management is a joke. No plowing in the winter. Seriously was only like 4 times this whole winter. Pot holes big enough to eat a Volkswagen. Kids and neighbors are loud all hours of day and night. Dogs run rampant and bark 24/7. Shocking amount of stray cats that no one cares for. Oh and the gas company that they use, charges almost 60¢ more a gallon. Houses are all decrepit and nasty. Mold. Sooooooo much mold. Some houses even have holes all through them. Management dgaf. I wish a review like this was on here before I decided to move. Be smart and listen.
Apr 25, 2019 · Alex CompagnariI enjoy living here. Quiet most of the time. Needs some work throughout the park, but nice small community.
