Tamiami Village & RV Park Introduce
If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the North Fort Myers, Florida area, Tamiami Village & RV Park, located at 16555 N Cleveland Ave, North Fort Myers, FL 33903, offers a clean and active environment for RV travelers. Based on recent customer reviews, this park provides well-maintained grounds and facilities, a friendly staff, and a schedule filled with activities for its guests. However, there are also important details regarding check-in procedures and minimum stay requirements that potential visitors should be aware of.
One reviewer provides a helpful overview of the park's layout and atmosphere, noting, "This is an RV Park with designated common areas and busy schedule of activities. Next door is mobile home comminuted with different facilities and schedules. They share only an entrance." This clarifies that Tamiami Village & RV Park is distinct from the adjacent mobile home community, with its own set of amenities and planned events tailored for RV guests. The mention of a "busy schedule of activities" suggests a lively and engaging environment, likely appealing to those who enjoy socializing and participating in organized events during their stay.
The same reviewer also praises the park's upkeep and staff, stating, "Very clean, well taken care of grounds and facilities. Friendly staff." This is a significant positive aspect, indicating that Tamiami Village & RV Park prioritizes cleanliness and maintenance, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience for its visitors. A friendly staff can also greatly enhance a guest's stay, providing helpful assistance and contributing to a welcoming atmosphere.
Another reviewer offers a more concise but still positive assessment, describing it as "A decent RV park," and specifically mentioning that "the pool and laundry facilities seem to be as good as they were when we stayed here a few years ago." This suggests that the park's key amenities, such as the pool and laundry, are well-maintained and have provided consistent quality over time, which is a good indicator of the park's commitment to its facilities.
However, several reviewers also point out crucial pieces of information that are important for prospective guests to know before planning their stay. One reviewer notes, "A few things to know however. They apparently no longer have an after hours or self check in procedure. The office is closed on Saturday and Sunday and although it is not mentioned on their website and no signs posted, there is a 3 night minimum." This lack of an after-hours or self-check-in option could be inconvenient for travelers arriving outside of office hours, particularly on weekends. The fact that the office is closed on Saturdays and Sundays further emphasizes the importance of arriving during their operating hours. Most significantly, the unadvertised 3-night minimum stay requirement is a critical piece of information that could significantly impact travel plans, especially for those looking for a shorter overnight stop.
This 3-night minimum stay is also echoed by another reviewer who states, "A decent place to stop while passing through. Advance notice about the 3 night minimum would have helped." This reinforces that the 3-night minimum is a current policy that is not prominently displayed and can be a surprise to those intending a shorter stay. For travelers specifically searching for "RV parks near me" for a quick overnight stop while passing through the area, Tamiami Village & RV Park may not be a suitable option due to this minimum stay requirement.
Based on these reviews, Tamiami Village & RV Park offers a clean and well-maintained environment with a friendly staff and a busy schedule of activities, suggesting a vibrant and engaging community for those planning a longer stay. The pool and laundry facilities are reported to be in good condition. However, potential guests must be aware of the absence of after-hours check-in, the office closure on weekends, and the important 3-night minimum stay requirement, which is not clearly advertised.
In terms of environment, Tamiami Village & RV Park is situated next to a mobile home community but maintains its own distinct facilities and activity schedule. The emphasis on well-kept grounds suggests an aesthetically pleasing and comfortable setting for RVers. The "busy schedule of activities" implies that there are organized events and opportunities for social interaction, which can enhance the overall experience, especially for longer stays.
The services likely include standard RV hookups (water, electricity, sewer), access to the pool and laundry facilities, and participation in the scheduled activities. The friendly staff suggests that guest assistance and support are available during office hours. However, the lack of after-hours check-in is a limitation to consider.
Promotional information is somewhat implicit in the positive comments about cleanliness, maintenance, friendly staff, and activities. These aspects serve as reasons why travelers might choose Tamiami Village & RV Park for their stay in North Fort Myers. However, the unadvertised 3-night minimum stay acts as a crucial piece of information that could deter those seeking shorter accommodations.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me," Tamiami Village & RV Park could be a good option if you are planning a stay of three nights or longer and value a clean, well-maintained park with a friendly atmosphere and organized activities. The presence of a pool and laundry facilities adds to the convenience for longer stays. However, if you require a shorter overnight stop or anticipate arriving outside of standard office hours or on a weekend, this park may not meet your needs due to their current policies. It is highly recommended to contact Tamiami Village & RV Park directly at (239) 997-2697 or +1 239-997-2697 to confirm their current office hours, check-in procedures, and any minimum stay requirements before making a reservation.

Mar 26, 2024 · Ron AndreiMy parents have a lovely place here. The village is like a photo on a postcard. Everything is neat, clean, and uniquely cared for. The residents are friendly and the sense of community is truly heartwarming. This a wonderful little piece of paradise that has a family of folks who really seem to appreciate it.
Feb 23, 2022 · Brandon LauthernLove this place. My parents lived here for 15 years and have the best people, park and amenities.
Dec 31, 2024 · April HibschmanI've stayed here a couple times. Friendly, helpful staff, mailboxes, winter activities, great pool. It is crowded, but I have not noticed any issues with folks. Even wifi actually works better than most parks. Summers everything is still good except only about 15 rigs and no park activities.I've full-timed around the eastern half of US. This is a nice park.
