Island Vista Estates Introduce
If you are exploring "mobile home parks near me" or considering residential options in the North Fort Myers, Florida area, Island Vista Estates, located at 3000 N Tamiami Trl, North Fort Myers, FL 33903, USA, is a community that may appear in your search. While our platform primarily focuses on "RV parks near me," understanding the experiences within various manufactured home communities can provide valuable context for those considering a move or lifestyle change. You can contact Island Vista Estates at (888) 504-1161 or +1 888-504-1161 for further information; however, it is crucial to consider recent feedback from individuals who have interacted with this community.
Recent customer reviews regarding Island Vista Estates paint a concerning picture, highlighting significant issues related to management practices, financial dealings, and property conditions. One long-term resident, who has reportedly owned a place there for ten years, describes a deeply troubling situation where management allegedly refused to accept their rent, citing the condition of their property as the reason, even after the resident claims to have removed a substantial amount of their belongings. This individual expresses strong dissatisfaction, stating, "Please. Don't spend your money here. They are a scam. More problems then I can even write in one post. We owe and these guys are scam." This is a serious accusation that potential residents should take into careful consideration.
An update from the same reviewer further exacerbates these concerns, alleging continued refusal to accept rent even after complying with management's requests. This update also includes a grave accusation of harassment towards a "disabled heart patient" within the community. Additionally, the reviewer claims that management is mandating costly property improvements, specifically "overhang" installations, which residents on disability allegedly cannot afford. The reviewer concludes with a strong negative sentiment, labeling the management as "real winners" and reiterating, "Don't live here." These allegations suggest significant issues with tenant relations, potentially unfair financial demands, and a lack of consideration for vulnerable residents.
Another detailed review focuses on the experience of a prospective buyer who looked at a listed home within Island Vista Estates. This individual describes their interaction with a sales representative as "incredibly unprofessional rude and inexperienced." They recount being shown a home "as is" without explicit disclosure of its condition and subsequently discovering, through an inspection, that it required approximately $35,000 in repairs due to a "leaking roof mold holes in walls, and excessive biohazard under the house," for which they claim to possess a disturbing report. This raises serious concerns about the transparency and ethical practices of property sales within the community.
Furthermore, this reviewer alleges a potentially fraudulent pattern involving homes within Island Vista Estates. They suggest that the management rents out homes for extended periods, allows them to deteriorate, relocates them within the community, performs cosmetic repairs, and then attempts to sell them as if they were "new construction" despite having no new construction on-site and allegedly lacking proper titles for these properties. This is a severe accusation of deceptive sales tactics that, if accurate, would be a major red flag for potential buyers. The reviewer also claims that excessive fees are being imposed, which they believe is hindering sales within the community, despite management's claims of high interest from prospective buyers.
The prospective buyer's overall experience was overwhelmingly negative, describing it as "one of the worst experiences when it comes to buying a home I ever had in my life." They strongly advise others to "do yourself a favor and look somewhere else." This feedback highlights significant risks associated with purchasing property within Island Vista Estates, including potential issues with property condition, transparency of sales practices, and the professionalism of the sales staff.
Based on these reviews, the environment within Island Vista Estates appears to be overshadowed by significant management and property-related concerns. While the physical appearance of the community is not explicitly described, the issues raised by residents and prospective buyers suggest potential problems with property maintenance, transparency, and fair treatment.
Specific services and features of Island Vista Estates are not detailed in these negative reviews. However, typical manufactured home communities often offer basic amenities such as common areas, laundry facilities, and possibly a clubhouse or pool. Given the serious nature of the complaints regarding management and property sales, the quality and accessibility of these standard services may also be a concern for potential residents.
Promotional information is entirely absent in the provided reviews. Instead, the overwhelming sentiment is one of extreme caution and strong discouragement against residing in or purchasing property within Island Vista Estates. The accusations of scams, harassment, and unethical sales practices are severe and should be carefully considered by anyone contemplating moving to this community.
For local users searching for "mobile home parks near me" in North Fort Myers, the information available regarding Island Vista Estates raises significant red flags. The allegations of unfair treatment of residents, potentially deceptive sales practices, and a lack of transparency are serious concerns. Potential residents and buyers are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution, conduct thorough independent investigations, and seek feedback from multiple sources before considering Island Vista Estates as a place to live or invest.
In conclusion, the recent customer reviews for Island Vista Estates in North Fort Myers paint a deeply concerning picture of the community. Allegations of unfair treatment of residents, harassment of vulnerable individuals, potentially fraudulent sales practices involving misrepresented property conditions and titles, and a lack of professionalism from sales staff are significant issues that cannot be ignored. Potential local users seeking "mobile home parks near me" should carefully weigh these serious concerns and proceed with extreme caution when considering Island Vista Estates. It is strongly recommended to explore alternative options and conduct thorough due diligence before making any decisions regarding this community.

Island Vista Estates Reviews
We have owned a place there for 10 years. This month on island vista they won't take our rent because they say the place is to much of a mess..... and I've pulled half of what he owns down to wyoming. And I promise you it's not cheap. We want to sell.out place because the trailer court can find everything we do as wrong. Please. Don't spend your money here. They are a scam. More problems then I can even write in one post. We owe and these guys are scam.Edit they still won't let us pay our rent and we did what they asked. They are harassing a disabled heart patient. This is crazy. We have done nothing wrong beside pay our bills. They also want to make everyone in the trailer court put overhang on and nobody on disability can afford this. These guys are real winners. Don't live here
Mar 05, 2025 · Nichole MillerLooked at a currently listed home for sale. 346 eland. Still for sale today. I had to work with an Amanda who is incredibly unprofessional rude and inexperienced in the business world in my opinion. It was very apparent that I was dealing with a tree in my opinion. Try to sell me a home as is without telling me it was as is. After I inspected the home I learned that it needed about 35,000 in work, with a leaking roof mold holes in walls, and excessive biohazard under the house. I have the report it's disturbing. What these people do is somewhat of a scam in my opinion because they never title the new home they rented out for a bunch of years let it get destroyed and then they put it on another property and try to fix it up and spruce it up and make it look like it's new construction when they don't have any new construction anywhere it's a scam in my opinion. They don't even have a title. They're going to pass off excessive fees to people and that's why they're not selling anything in this neighborhood. They sit there and tell you all of these people are coming to look at it and still for sale months later. Some of the worst selling tactics I've ever seen. So bad that it was elementary. It felt like I was dealing with my 20-year-old kid. I had to bring myself down to size just to communicate. What these people are doing in here is a racket they're going to try to sell a home like they did to me as is. They play around and make it look like other people are interested but the market in this area is down 35%. A lot of these homes have been hurricane savaged. Be careful of mold. This was one of the worst experiences when it comes to buying a home I ever had in my life and I am not young. In my opinion do yourself a favor and look somewhere else like I did.
Apr 07, 2025 · Thomas E. RedmondThe staff was friendly, Ms. Alicia was very helpful in guiding my family and myself around and very informative with the questions we had.
Dec 09, 2024 · MoniqueI rented a room off of somebody who has a mobile home here and I have to say that the experience was somewhat unpleasant. The gate to get in the park itself you have to punch in a code that rings to a telephone and then they press a button to allow the gate to raise up. The lines are long to get into the park at the end of a work day. Most of the time people just piggyback on another person to jump through without punching in a code and end up breaking the gate. There is two entrances into the park both with punching codes and raised Gates so it does help cut down the line some unless someone is not getting approved to get in and has to back out of the line. Moving along to the pool area I had a pass to be in there and I was swimming along having a good time when this woman came up out of nowhere and he managed to see my pass and wanted to know why I was in the pool I don't think she worked there I just think she was being nosy. So when I brought it to the office's attention they didn't do anything nor did they really care, so I guess it's something that they deal with on a daily basis so watch out for the Karen who lives there by the pool area..lol.. there is a lot of run-down trailers and a lot of really nice trailers in this park area.. I would buy a house here once they got rid of all of the drugs and the drug dealers and drunks, it would be a beautiful place. Also clean up all the bird poop, a person can't even take a walk without stepping in it. As for the staff, can't say anything bad about them. All in all it's a mobile park, you're going to have your problems wherever you go but at least they can do is keep it down to a minimum
Nov 30, 2023 · Sonja PappasI lived here a few years back. Places are nice. Priced very high with lot rent also high. A lot of drug dealers/users. Nice pool area. Staff at that time were simply rude once they got your money. One small thing out of place and you are given a warning. Kinda like three strikes and you're out attitude. Extremely nosey. Looks are very deceiving.
