The Barlow RV Reviews
We just spent Christmas at the Barlow RV. It was very peaceful, all we wanted. The sites are beautiful, spacious and clean. We didn't get to explore the property as we planned but there are trails and a very calming water stream. Although it feels secluded, there are many convenience stores nearby and restaurants. We visited Elk Falls (adventurous as it is closed due to hurricane damage but beautiful- worth the drive), Beech Mountain ski resort, and Grandfather Mountain (breathtaking taking views).
Jan 04, 2025 · Jonanht InguanzoGranddaddy site was huge, with lots of privacy. Huge rock wall behind the rig. Nice having full hook ups & sewer dump at the site. The light above the picnic table was a great touch. Everything was a well made & built. The owner even shoveled our site since it had snowed. They even messaged us to check in since there was extreme freezing temps & lots of snow.
Jan 21, 2025 · Christine PeppinHad a great experience. The park is very nice and very well done. Will be a great success for sure. We had some slight issues with navigating our RV into our site and leaving out of the park, but we’re approximately 70 feet in length. We stayed in site number four (The Grand-daddy site) very nice. Other than our unique situation of being a very large rig the park is perfect. We can’t wait to see the improvements in the future. Would defiantly recommend The Barlow for your next mountain getaway.
Sep 22, 2024 · David L ParkerThe Barlow RV is a beautiful, serene oasis in a wonderful location - just minutes from downtown Banner Elk and a short drive to lots of hiking, Grandfather Mountain, Beech, and Sugar Mountains. The owners have taken a lot of time and consideration to make the sites convenient and well-appointed. Hassle-free check in, and lovely outdoor seating. Plus, quality firewood provided at each site (and billed at the end according to usage) which is a very convenient bonus. Sites are spacious and clean. One thing to note - there are no public restrooms on site - not a problem since the sites are all FHU, just something to note. Highly recommend The Liar's Table just a few miles away in Elk Park for lattes, pastries, etc.
Sep 11, 2024 · Jaymie EichornWe stayed at The Barlow RV for 4 nights in August. What a great place! The site (#4) was huge and private. Each site has a shaded picnic table, a fire pit, Adirondack chairs, and a gas grill. The grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed walking the trail to the top of the property. Access was easy and each site had FHU. We hope to be back, and didn't want to leave!
