Wiseman Ridge Reviews
The views were amazing! I had to read with that. We were in lot #1 but the way it's set up no matter which lot you're in you will get a good view. Loved that they had full hookup (power, water, & sewer). And we made good use of the campfire.Side note Wiseman's View is about 25 minutes from the camp ground. The sky is amazing and we were able to see Brown mountain lights (a set of mysterious lights that appears at night and have been studied by NASA but no one can explain them). After you park you will walk about 3 minutes to get to the Wisemans view overlook.
Dec 30, 2024 · Char Real EstateMy husband and I just left from 3 nights at Wiseman Ridge and we loved it. We stayed on site 3 and could have gotten another small TT on that site if needed. The views were outstanding and the campground was quiet. Full hookup was nice and the WiFi was perfect and needed because of poor Verizon cell reception. Eric, the owner, called us when we were on the way to give us some tips because of temporary road closures and he escorted us to our spot when we got there. He also provided recommendations about hiking and mountain biking in the area as well as some of the local vineyards. Our dogs enjoyed their time there as well, perhaps because it was so quiet and open. Wiseman Ridge makes our top 3 places that we’ve camped. We will definitely be back.
Jun 28, 2023 · kristen gwaltneyMy SO & I stayed in our RV for 5 days and it was an excellent experience from beginning to end ! The host was mowing and doing upkeep when we arrived and was very welcoming and helpful !! It was Clean, great Space and quiet! We enjoyed the beautiful stars and moon ! There was no issue with getting up the driveway /hill. We were able to enjoy many hikes/caverns and restaurants all within 30 min :)Highly recommend staying here
Jun 05, 2023 · L TWe had an amazing time here Memorial Day weekend , our host Eric was easy to get ahold of and even came by to introduce himself and check on us. We were in site 1 and I’m glad that’s the site we got ( even though I originally wanted site 3 they know we would enjoy site 1 way more !)We did ! It felt like its own secluded area. The view of the mountains was so nice at this site ( all sites have a great view)We were able to really sprawl out.We have already told our friends about this rv small site and they can’t wait to try it out!* getting there looks a little difficult, it isn’t . They have cleared the path nothing should hit any of your rig. I was a nervous Nellie because we are still new to rv life and this was our 3 rd trip in the camper . More skilled drivers will not bat an eye.
May 28, 2024 · LL FMy husband, 2 dogs, 2 cats and I camped at Wiseman Ridge Oct 23rd thru 30th 2023 and we all just absolutely loved being here!! It was so very peaceful and we had absolutely beautiful mountain views!!!We camped on site #3 in a 40ft Coach with 4 slide outs towing a full-size Nissan truck on a flat bed trailer which all fit on this gorgeous graveled campsite right on top of the Ridge!! We even had room to spare! Our campsite included 50 amp Full hookup, strong WiFi, nice picnic table and an awesome rock firepit. As requested we called 20 minutes before arriving and the owner Eric was waiting for us at the entrance. He graciously helped us unload our flat bed and truck from the coach then escorted us to our beautiful site. It's apparent that the owners had put a lot of time, effort and thought into making this a special place for people to enjoy. I hope we will be lucky enough to stay here again in the future!Next time we will be sure to visit the Linville Winery early enough to listen to Eric's band play 😁
