Townsedge Terrace Introduce
For individuals and families exploring options within the "RV Parks Near Me" category, particularly those seeking long-term residential solutions or considering manufactured housing in the Mounds View, Minnesota area, Townsedge Terrace presents a distinct and somewhat dichotomous profile. Located at 5001 Old Hwy 8 NW, Mounds View, MN 55112, USA, with contact numbers (763) 786-6905 and +1 763-786-6905, Townsedge Terrace primarily functions as a manufactured housing community. While the "RV Parks Near Me" category often implies transient camping, many mobile home parks can also offer long-term spots for recreational vehicles that serve as primary residences. This introduction provides an objective overview of Townsedge Terrace, drawing on both its attractive attributes and significant concerns highlighted by resident feedback to offer a comprehensive understanding of the community.
Townsedge Terrace is strategically located in Mounds View, Minnesota, a well-established suburb within the northern part of the Twin Cities metropolitan area. Its address at 5001 Old Hwy 8 NW places it in a highly convenient position, offering residents a blend of suburban tranquility and excellent accessibility to urban amenities.
The environment surrounding Townsedge Terrace is consistently highlighted as a major positive. One reviewer enthusiastically states, "The location is great, connected to a beautiful area for walks and close to good schools." This suggests that residents have direct access to natural green spaces, ideal for recreation, exercise, and enjoying the outdoors. The proximity to "good schools" is a significant advantage for families with children, contributing to the overall appeal of the community's setting. Mounds View generally offers a quiet, family-friendly suburban atmosphere, providing a sense of community that many residents seek.
Within the park itself, the environment is shaped by the arrangement of the homes and the interactions among residents. The feedback that "Neighbors are amazing for the most part" strongly indicates a positive internal social environment. This suggests a friendly, supportive, and harmonious residential community, which is a key factor in overall living satisfaction. While the visual aesthetic of the park's common areas and infrastructure is not explicitly detailed, the focus on its location and positive neighborly relations paints a picture of a place where residents generally enjoy their immediate surroundings and the people they live amongst.
Townsedge Terrace's primary service is providing plots of land for manufactured homes, serving as a housing solution in Mounds View. For those exploring "RV Parks Near Me" with a long-term residential focus, it is crucial to verify directly with park management regarding their policies on long-term RV placement, as these policies can vary significantly.
Typical services and features within a manufactured home community include:
- Lot Rental: The core service involves leasing individual plots of land where residents place their manufactured homes or, potentially, approved long-term RVs. These lots generally come with utility hookups for water, sewer, and electricity.
- Proximity to Schools and Natural Areas: As highlighted, the close connection to "good schools" and a "beautiful area for walks" are inherent features of the park's location, benefiting residents.
- Neighborly Community: The positive feedback about "amazing" neighbors points to a strong, informal community network, where residents look out for each other and foster a friendly atmosphere.
- Park Management: This is, by far, the most critical and consistently negative aspect highlighted in the reviews. Both reviews express severe dissatisfaction with the management. Phrases used include:
- "Unfortunately the person in charge is the worst person you will ever meet."
- "It's really too bad because this place could be great if management cared at all about the people who live here."
- "Management(Steve) is a absolute joke. They have no idea how to do anything....something as simple as plowing the roads is like rocket science."
- "We won't even get into Tina the office manager. I'm pretty sure my 7 year old son communicates better then she does."
- "really they need to be investigated on how they treat people."
The contrast between the positive aspects of location and neighbors, and the overwhelmingly negative comments about management, suggests that the residents' overall quality of life is significantly impacted by the park's operational leadership.
When Townsedge Terrace is promoted, particularly within the "RV Parks Near Me" category for long-term residents, promotional materials would primarily emphasize its strong positive attributes:
- Exceptional Location: The prime location in Mounds View, with easy access to walks and good schools, would be a major selling point. Its suburban charm combined with proximity to the Twin Cities' amenities is highly desirable.
- Friendly Neighbors: The strong community spirit and positive interactions among residents would also be highlighted, appealing to those seeking a supportive social environment.
However, for an objective introduction, it is crucial to address the severe and consistent concerns raised in the reviews regarding management. This feedback points to significant challenges that prospective residents must be fully aware of:
- Highly Problematic Management: Allegations of incompetence, rudeness, lack of care, and poor communication are central to the negative experiences. The explicit mention of management not caring "at all about the people who live here" suggests a potential adversarial relationship between residents and park leadership.
- Operational Inefficiencies: The difficulty with "plowing the roads" points to a failure in basic operational services, which can significantly impact daily life, especially during Minnesota winters.
- Concerns about Resident Treatment: The former employee's call for an investigation into "how they treat people" indicates potential systemic issues with resident relations and fairness.
- Impact on Overall Experience: Despite the great location and good neighbors, the strong negative sentiment ("It's really too bad because this place could be great if management cared") suggests that management issues severely detract from the overall living experience.
For those considering Townsedge Terrace, particularly for a long-term RV placement under the "RV Parks Near Me" search, it is imperative to:
- Contact the park directly: Use the provided phone numbers (763) 786-6905 or +1 763-786-6905. Pay very close attention to how your inquiry is handled, the responsiveness, and the tone of the communication. This can provide an immediate insight into the management's approach.
- Schedule an in-person visit: While observing the physical environment, attempt to speak with multiple current residents (if possible) to gather up-to-date, firsthand perspectives on management, maintenance, and daily life.
- Inquire specifically about maintenance protocols: Ask detailed questions about snow removal, road maintenance, and how resident requests for service are handled.
- Thoroughly review all lease terms and park rules: Pay close attention to clauses related to responsibilities, fees, and procedures for addressing grievances.
- Consider the impact of management: Understand that even with a great location and friendly neighbors, ongoing issues with management can significantly diminish the quality of life in a community.
In conclusion, Townsedge Terrace in Mounds View, MN, offers an undeniably attractive location with access to green spaces and good schools, complemented by a generally positive neighborly environment. However, these significant advantages are heavily overshadowed by widespread and severe criticisms regarding the park's management. Prospective residents searching for "RV Parks Near Me" for a long-term commitment must conduct exceptionally thorough due diligence, prioritizing direct interaction with management and seeking recent resident feedback, to fully understand the challenges that may exist despite the appealing location and community.

May 07, 2025 · Mia IngrahamManagement(Steve) is a absolute joke. They have no idea how to do anything....something as simple as plowing the roads is like rocket science. We won't even get into Tina the office manager. I'm pretty sure my 7 year old son communicates better then she does. I use to work for the park. On call every other weekend for years......so I know some details about how they do stuff and really they need to be investigated on how they treat people.
Oct 29, 2024 · Thomas WegelinThis park sucks! The managers pick and chose who they want to be nice to. Not all rules apply to everyone. So many people get away with stuff that they shouldnt do but if you do it then they would be right on your tail just like that. And everyone is right about winter, that man plows snow onto peoples yard and blocks you in after you've bust your back to shovel out because he cant plow on a timely manner. Cheap lot rent but not proper service and unfair treatment. Theyre very fast to do complaints and violations on residents. You cant even plant a tree or flowers without asking the office! Thats ridiculous! Theres speeders and all sorts through the park but it doesnt seem to bother them. So called loud mufflers bothers them but not motorcycles and motorcycles are just as loud. On top of that motorcycles can park onto the yard but not trailers. Trailers dont use fluid of any kind but its not allowed to park on yard but the motorcycles can and they leak fluids. This park is ridiculous along with the managers.
Oct 20, 2023 · Lexxy LThe Manager and a heartless neighbor had my car towed. I am 63. Was helping Dad, is 86. No parking space. Parked across. Lots of space. POORParking. Old crowded park. NO VISIBLE WARNING SIGNS! Barking dogs next door. ICY LUMPY SNOWIN WINTER. POOR PLOWING
Sep 04, 2023 · CheriBomThere is a variety of homes available from old to newer. The management isn't the greatest ie: some rules only apply to some tenants while others they don't apply. There is a variety of nationalities that reside here. Since my original post things have gone down hill if you like to shovel the street to get out this is the place for you. Steve the manager is a horrible person to talk to about any issues you may have so if you like to be talked to like a child this is the place for you.
