Turquoise Triangle RV Park Introduce
If you're searching for "RV parks near me" in the Cottonwood, Arizona area, Turquoise Triangle RV Park, located at 2501 East State Route 89 A, Cottonwood, AZ 86326, presents a unique profile based on the available customer reviews. It appears to be a highly sought-after park, particularly for long-term residents, characterized by its mature shade trees and a well-regarded park manager. However, it's crucial for prospective visitors to understand its primary focus on long-term stays and the limited availability for overnight or short-term parking.
One of the most prominent features of Turquoise Triangle RV Park, as highlighted by a reviewer, is the presence of "nice mature shade trees." In the Arizona climate, especially during the hotter months, the availability of ample shade is a significant advantage for RVers, providing a more comfortable and enjoyable outdoor living space. Mature trees not only offer relief from the sun but can also contribute to a more aesthetically pleasing and cooler environment within the park.
However, this positive aspect is immediately followed by a crucial piece of information: "This is a long term parking RV park. Not much overnight spaces. Not many spaces become available ever." This statement is essential for RV travelers seeking short-term accommodations. It clearly indicates that Turquoise Triangle RV Park primarily caters to long-term residents and has very limited availability, if any, for overnight or short-term stays. The reviewer's personal experience of wanting to get into the park for three years, only to be met with the fact that "no one is willing to give up their nicely shaded spot," underscores the desirability and low turnover of spaces within the park.
The presence of a posted "NO VACANCY" sign further reinforces the limited availability situation. This suggests that finding a spot, especially a coveted shaded one, can be a significant challenge. Therefore, if you are looking for a short-term RV park in the Cottonwood area, Turquoise Triangle RV Park may not be a viable option due to its long-term focus and infrequent openings.
On a more positive note, the park manager, identified as "Peaches," receives high praise in another review. The reviewer describes Turquoise Triangle RV Park as "A Magical Oasis in the middle of town" and refers to Peaches as "an absolute doll." This glowing recommendation of the park manager suggests a friendly and welcoming individual who contributes positively to the living experience within the park. A good park manager can significantly enhance the sense of community and the overall satisfaction of residents, ensuring smooth operations and a pleasant atmosphere.
Combining these two reviews paints a picture of a desirable RV park with mature shade, likely creating a comfortable and appealing environment, particularly for long-term residents. The friendly and well-regarded park manager further adds to its appeal. However, its strong focus on long-term parking and the resulting scarcity of available spaces, especially for short-term stays, are critical factors for those searching for "RV parks near me."
Given the limited information, it's challenging to detail specific services and features beyond the shaded environment and the positive mention of the park manager. However, as a long-term RV park, it likely provides essential utilities for its residents, such as water, sewer, and electrical hook-ups at each site. The mature trees themselves can be considered a significant feature, contributing to the environment and the quality of life for long-term residents.
Potential Environment, Services, and Features (Inferred from the Reviews):
- Mature Shade Trees: Providing a cooler and more comfortable environment, especially crucial in the Arizona climate.
- Long-Term Parking Focus: Primarily caters to residents seeking extended stays.
- Limited Overnight Spaces: Very few, if any, spots available for short-term visitors.
- High Occupancy: Spaces rarely become available due to the desirability of the park.
- Friendly Park Manager ("Peaches"): Likely contributes to a positive and welcoming community atmosphere.
- Essential Utilities: Expected for long-term RV parks, including water, sewer, and electrical hook-ups at each site (specifics not detailed).
- Established Community: The long-term nature suggests a stable and potentially close-knit community of residents.
- Location "in the middle of town": Suggests convenient access to local amenities, although the specific surroundings are not described.
Promotional Information: The provided reviews do not contain any specific promotional offers or incentives. In fact, the "NO VACANCY" sign mentioned in one review serves as a clear indication that the park is not actively seeking new residents at this time, at least for long-term spots. The high demand, evidenced by the three-year waiting period mentioned by one reviewer, suggests that traditional promotional efforts may not be necessary for a park with such consistent occupancy.
For RVers specifically seeking long-term parking in a well-shaded environment with a friendly manager in Cottonwood, Arizona, Turquoise Triangle RV Park appears to be a highly desirable option. However, the significant hurdle is the limited availability. Those interested in potentially securing a long-term spot may need to contact the park directly to inquire about any future openings and potentially join a waiting list. The phone number provided is:
- Phone: (928) 634-5294
- Mobile Phone: +1 928-634-5294
It's crucial to manage expectations regarding short-term stays, as the park's primary focus and consistent "NO VACANCY" status suggest that this is not a suitable option for overnight or brief visits. For those needs, exploring other "RV parks near me" in the Cottonwood area that specifically cater to short-term travelers would be more fruitful.
In conclusion, Turquoise Triangle RV Park offers a compelling long-term living environment characterized by its mature shade trees and a friendly park manager. Its location "in the middle of town" likely provides convenient access to local amenities. However, its strong emphasis on long-term residents and the very limited availability of spaces, as indicated by the "NO VACANCY" sign and the difficulty in securing a spot, mean that it is likely not a viable option for RVers seeking short-term or overnight parking. If you are interested in long-term living in this sought-after park, contacting the management directly to inquire about potential future openings is recommended.

Jan 10, 2025 · Pooh BearFriendly neighborly atmosphere. Mostly permanent residents who have local jobs. Clean restrooms and showers key coded for residents. No community building.Excellent central location to restaurants, pharmacies, gas stations, and grocery stores. Lovely mountain views. Reasonably priced with full hook ups.
Mar 27, 2022 · Marlene M. GrafGreat place! So many accommodations available for almost all needs, which is helpful. The wifi wasn't too great in the spot we stayed at, but just a few steps over to the lounge and the wifi was way better, plus the comfortable lounge made it better. It's close to town, which is helpful too. The only downside is that there's a busy street outside the park which isn't great if you wanted to bike/walk. The management was very helpful and informative, and kept the park in great shape and order. Will stay again if I'm ever in the area again.
Jul 31, 2018 · Victoria BarrosThere are 50 sites in the park, most all of them are full time/long term residents. Most are kept up fairly well and everyone was friendly. The driveway in is a little on the narrow side, the roads in the park are wider. Check in was fast and friendly. We were in Site 57, a gravel pull in with full hook-ups. The sewer was broken but they came right away and fixed it. It was hard to level - we pulled in three times to try and find a better spot - but no luck. The site is short and our 37' Class A just barely fit. Our tow dolly was unhooked and stored alongside our rig and our car was parked on the other side. This is a buddy site and luckily our neighbors were never there because it would have been tight with two cars. The WiFi was spotty and our Verizon signal was fair. We did not use the laundry or bathrooms, nor do we use the TV/Cable hook-ups. There is very little place to walk dogs. We stayed Oct 19-23, 2017 and paid $35 a night with no discounts.
