When your search for "RV parks near me" brings you to Tye, Texas, Tye RV Park, located at 441 N Access Rd, Tye, TX 79563, presents an appealing option for RV travelers seeking affordability and convenient amenities. You can reach them at (325) 691-0398 or their mobile number +1 325-691-0398 for reservations and inquiries. Based on recent customer reviews, Tye RV Park offers a budget-friendly stay with notable perks like free laundry and spacious sites, making it a great choice for both quick overnights and potentially longer stays.
One of the standout features of Tye RV Park, frequently mentioned in the reviews, is its affordability. Guests have specifically noted that the price is "right up our ally" for a quick overnight stay, making it an attractive option for travelers mindful of their budget. This value proposition, combined with other amenities, makes Tye RV Park a compelling choice when comparing "RV parks near me" based on cost-effectiveness.
The spaciousness of the RV sites is another significant advantage highlighted by reviewers. Site 122 is mentioned by name as being "plenty long" for a variety of setups, including a 46-foot toy hauler fifth wheel and a 22-foot truck. This generous site length ensures that even larger RVs and those towing vehicles can comfortably park without feeling cramped. The availability of such spacious pull-thru sites enhances the ease of arrival and departure, particularly beneficial for overnight stays or for those who prefer not to unhook their tow vehicles.
A particularly attractive amenity offered by Tye RV Park is free laundry for guests who stay at the park. This is explicitly mentioned in both reviews, with one guest noting it was a key factor in choosing the park, allowing them to get all their laundry done before heading home. The laundry facilities are described as being "very well kept" and equipped with "newer LG" washer and dryer units that are "very clean." The provision of free, high-quality laundry is a significant convenience and a considerable cost saving for RV travelers, especially those on extended trips.
The bathroom facilities at Tye RV Park also receive positive feedback, with reviewers stating that they are "well taken care of" and "very nice." Clean and well-maintained restrooms and showers are essential for a comfortable RV stay, and Tye RV Park appears to prioritize the upkeep of these facilities, contributing to a positive overall experience for their guests.
While the overall feedback is largely positive, one minor inconvenience mentioned by a guest is that their sewer connection on site 122 was "going uphill," which slightly prolonged the dumping process. However, they also noted that it "can be done," indicating that while it might require a bit more time or effort, the essential hookup is functional. This is a specific detail for site 122, and it's possible that other sites have different sewer configurations.
The front office staff at Tye RV Park are commended for their friendly welcome upon arrival. This positive initial interaction sets a welcoming tone for the stay and contributes to a pleasant guest experience. Easy online booking is also mentioned as a convenience, streamlining the reservation process for travelers.
There are a couple of potential environmental factors to be aware of at Tye RV Park. One reviewer noted the presence of "low hanging trees" within the park that could pose a challenge when departing with taller RVs, suggesting that caution and awareness of these overhead obstacles are necessary. The park might benefit from some tree trimming to mitigate this issue for future guests.
Another environmental consideration is the presence of "goat head stickers" on the ground. Guests are advised to be cautious and avoid walking barefoot, as these stickers can be painful to step on. This is a natural occurrence in some regions and is more of an environmental note than a park management issue, but it's valuable information for guests to ensure their comfort and safety while on the grounds.
The reviews also mention the interesting experience of planes flying overhead, which some guests might find enjoyable as a quick glimpse of aviation activity. This could be a unique aspect of the park's environment due to its proximity to an airport or flight path.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" in the Tye, Texas area, Tye RV Park offers a compelling combination of affordability, spacious pull-thru sites, and the significant benefit of free laundry facilities. The well-maintained bathrooms and friendly staff further enhance its appeal. While there are minor considerations such as the uphill sewer connection on at least one site and low-hanging trees, the overall positive feedback emphasizes the value and convenience offered by this RV park. The easy online booking process also adds to its accessibility for travelers.
To obtain more detailed information about site availability, specific amenities (such as Wi-Fi, water pressure details for all sites, and any other hookup specifics), and any potential long-term stay discounts or other promotional offers, it is recommended to contact Tye RV Park directly using the provided phone numbers. Inquiring about the layout of other sites and the park's policies regarding pets or children (one reviewer noted they allowed a 1.5-year-old child) would also be beneficial for planning a stay. Tye RV Park Reviews
We are very pleased to with Tye RV Park. Price is right up our ally for a quick overnight stay. Site 122 is plenty long for our setup. When I found it online I saw they offer free laundry to those who stay. It’s perfect for us to get all our laundry done before heading home. Bathrooms are well taken care of and are very nice. My only negative would be our sewer connection is going uphill so it just takes a little longer to dump, but it can be done.
Mar 21, 2025 · Benjamin PirilloGreat find for the price and convienance of free laundry room. Easy to book online and front office staff greeted us with a friendly welcome. We had space 122 and it was long enough for our 46’ toy hauler fifth wheel and 22’ truck. Water pressure was up to 60PSI. They allowed our 1.5yr old child. The laundry and wash room were very well kept. Washer/dryers were newer LG and very clean, free for customers. They have some low hanging trees in the park to watch out for when you depart, they could use a trimming. Be aware of the goat head stickers on the ground, don’t run out bare foot trying to get a quick glimpse of the planes flying over, they suck to step on.
Mar 21, 2025 · Bianca GleasonThis is a wonderful rv park. The laundry is a nice bonus. The spots are great with several options in size. Our pull thru was set up great. Limited trees so no cleaning necessary of the top of our 5th wheel. We look forward to choosing it again.
Apr 08, 2025 · Wendy AutreyThis place is so quiet, the only thing I would have to complain about is the lack of a playground for kids. We bring the hoverboards when we come visit Daddy but there's nothing else for them to do. Oh they do have a pond which is cool but my kids aren't allowed down there. The pond is beautiful though. The rv park is by a air force base so there's lots of rumbling jets. But I used to live my one in Albuquerque so I'm used to it.
Mar 31, 2025 · cheri rodriguezGreat parkHas a fishing pond, dog park, free laundry, clean showers with hot water and great staff. Everyone is very friendly. Alot of blue collar workers passing thru. It is close to the end of air force run way so get lots of different jets daily but its an awesome sight and sound.
