Village Mobile Home Park Introduce
When your search for "RV parks near me" or information about mobile home communities in Abilene, Texas, leads you to Village Mobile Home Park, located at 318 Arnold Blvd, Abilene, TX 79605, you'll encounter a community with seemingly contrasting experiences reported by its residents. You can contact the park at (325) 691-0795 or their mobile number +1 325-691-0795 for inquiries. Based on recent online reviews, the park appears to offer a pleasant living environment for some, while others have reported significant issues with the management.
One review paints a picture of a "fantastic place to live," emphasizing a "quiet nice community" where "neighbors help neighbors." This positive feedback suggests a strong sense of community and a peaceful environment within Village Mobile Home Park. The reviewer specifically praises a property manager named John, describing him as "one of the kindest and most sincere gentleman I've ever met." This commendation highlights potentially positive aspects of the on-site management and the overall neighborly atmosphere of the park.
However, a starkly contrasting review details a highly negative interaction with the "man in charge." This feedback describes an "extremely sad and UNPROFESSIONAL" experience when attempting to report a concerning situation involving a resident allegedly keeping seven pets and allowing the premises to become unsanitary. The reviewer claims that instead of addressing the issue professionally, the manager hung up on them. This behavior is described as unbecoming of a business manager who should be able to handle questions and criticism with respect and common decency. This negative account raises serious concerns about the professionalism and responsiveness of at least one individual in a management role at Village Mobile Home Park.
The significant disparity between these two reviews makes it challenging to form a definitive overall assessment of Village Mobile Home Park. The positive review suggests a well-functioning community with a kind and sincere property manager, fostering a helpful and quiet environment. This could be a significant draw for individuals and families seeking a peaceful residential setting in Abilene.
On the other hand, the negative review points to potentially serious issues with the professionalism and handling of resident concerns by at least one member of the management. The act of hanging up on a resident attempting to report a problem, especially one involving animal welfare and living conditions, is indeed unprofessional and raises questions about the management's commitment to addressing community issues effectively. This type of behavior could deter potential residents who value open communication and responsive management.
For local users searching for "mobile home parks near me" in Abilene, Texas, Village Mobile Home Park presents a complex picture. The potential for a "fantastic place to live" with a "quiet nice community" and helpful neighbors, as highlighted by one reviewer, is certainly appealing. The positive mention of a property manager named John suggests that there may be dedicated individuals working to maintain a positive living environment within the park.
However, the serious allegations of unprofessional behavior by the "man in charge" in the other review cannot be ignored. Effective and respectful communication between residents and management is crucial for a well-functioning community. The reported mishandling of a resident's attempt to address a problem raises concerns about how other issues might be handled and the overall responsiveness of the management to resident needs and concerns.
Given these contrasting experiences, local users considering Village Mobile Home Park should attempt to gather more information to gain a clearer understanding of the current environment and management practices. If possible, speaking with current residents could provide valuable insights into the day-to-day living experience in the park and their interactions with the management team. Asking specific questions about how community issues are addressed and the overall professionalism of the management could help potential residents make a more informed decision.
As the provided information does not detail specific amenities, services, or features of Village Mobile Home Park, such as the availability of on-site facilities, pet policies, or community events, prospective residents should inquire about these aspects directly when contacting the park. Understanding the full range of services and rules will be important in determining if the community meets their individual needs and lifestyle.
In conclusion, Village Mobile Home Park in Abilene, TX, appears to be a community with both positive and negative aspects highlighted in recent reviews. While some residents praise its quiet atmosphere, friendly neighbors, and a kind property manager named John, others have reported unprofessional and dismissive behavior from at least one member of the management team. Local users searching for "mobile home parks near me" should weigh these contrasting experiences and conduct further investigation to determine if Village Mobile Home Park is the right fit for their needs. Direct communication with the park and, if possible, current residents is recommended to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the community and its management practices.

Village Mobile Home Park Reviews
It is extremely sad and UNPROFESSIONAL that when someone tries to call to have a house check on someone for having 7 pets and shit and piss all over the place in unlivable conditions that the "man in charge" hangs up on you. You should not be in charge of a business if you cannot talk to people in a professional manner when questions are asked. Learn to take criticism and speak to people with respect and common decency when they are trying to communicate with you. You are supposed to be a business manager and you definitely do not have the means of being such if you Hang Up on people just because you are being questioned on your work ethics.
Apr 28, 2025 · Patience “Pate” WoolwineFantastic place to live quiet nice community neighbors helping neighbors. Property manager by the name of John is one of the kindest and most sincere gentleman I've ever met.
May 24, 2018 · Anthony CurtisTo save up for my house this place was perfect the neighborhood isn’t too bad WAY BETTER than the other trailers the $800 all bills paid those trailers next door are falling apart. But the village parks trailers are kept up with. John the gentleman in the office is a nice guy loved him. Sad I had to go but to start or even to stay for long term not a bad place at all. Loved it here but It’s time for a new chapter in my life. Loved my neighbors and felt safe here.
Oct 14, 2023 · Deanna VarelaI absolutely hate doing this but here we go I rented at the Village park in Abilene, Texas not once but twice paid first and last months rent and the houses were cleaner then when they rented. Never caused any trouble of any kind we make over 65k a year and our credit is not bad they wont rent to us said we don't qualify.. .... Seem to me they don't want decent honest families in the park but rather the druggies and older folks that can pay there bills. I was very hurt that they would rather have criminals then desent whole hearted family's living in there.
Dec 05, 2022 · Erin ClawsonBeen living here total of 6+yrs. Great peaceful neighborhood. VMHP manager is by the book, in which I like and prefer.Only if there was parking in the back as well. Otherewise, I like the way this double wide is horizontal. Which gives yu two-car parking in front.
