Tyler Oaks RV Resort Introduce
Searching for "RV parks near me" in the Tyler, Texas area? Tyler Oaks RV Resort, located at 10855 US Hwy 69 N, Tyler, TX 75706, USA, offers a spacious option with essential amenities for RV travelers. Based on recent customer reviews, the resort has both appealing features and areas that potential visitors should be aware of. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview to help you make an informed decision when considering Tyler Oaks RV Resort for your stay.
One of the frequently mentioned positive aspects of Tyler Oaks RV Resort is the ample space provided for RVs and campers. Reviewers specifically appreciated having "room for your rv / camper" along with the convenience of a "table and a fire pit" at their site. Spacious sites are a significant advantage for RVers, allowing for comfortable parking, maneuvering, and setting up camp. The inclusion of a table and fire pit enhances the outdoor living experience, providing opportunities for meals and enjoying a campfire.
The presence of wildlife, specifically "ducks and geese," is also noted as a pleasant feature by one reviewer, suggesting a natural element to the park's environment that can be enjoyable for nature lovers. Observing these animals could add a touch of tranquility and visual interest to the stay.
Another reviewer highlights the practical aspects of the park, mentioning that it is "Clean, well spaced, full hookups!" The availability of full hookups (water, electricity, and sewer) is a crucial amenity for many RVers, offering convenience and self-sufficiency. The "well spaced" sites echo the sentiment of spaciousness, providing a degree of privacy and ease of movement within the park.
The same reviewer also comments on the ease of access, stating, "Easy entry, parking, and exit with our motorhome pulling an enclosed trailer." This is an important consideration for those traveling with larger rigs or trailers, as it indicates that the park is designed to accommodate larger vehicles without significant difficulty in navigating the roadways and parking areas.
However, alongside these positive remarks, there are also concerns raised by reviewers that potential visitors should consider. One significant issue mentioned is a "sewer smell" and the presence of "trash everywhere." These are serious concerns regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of the park. A persistent sewer odor can detract significantly from the outdoor experience, and litter scattered throughout the property can indicate a lack of attention to overall tidiness, potentially impacting the enjoyment and comfort of guests.
The swimming pool is another area of concern for one reviewer, who, even without using it, found it to be "extremely small" and considered it "just a wading pool." For those traveling with families or who enjoy swimming as a recreational activity, the size and suitability of the pool may be a deciding factor. A pool that is perceived as too small for proper swimming might be a disappointment.
Cleanliness issues extend beyond the trash, with one reviewer noting that the "Bathroom’s weren’t very clean." Clean and well-maintained restrooms are a fundamental expectation at any RV park, and reports of unclean facilities can be a significant deterrent for potential guests.
Finally, a safety concern is raised regarding the "tall grass," which the reviewer found "scary because we saw a lot of snakes." Overgrown grass can indeed provide habitat for wildlife, including snakes, and may also contribute to an unkempt appearance of the park. For visitors, especially those with children or pets, the presence of snakes due to tall grass can be a significant worry.
One reviewer mentioned that the park "Could use a little more shade, but that'll come with time." This suggests that the park may be relatively new or that the landscaping is still maturing. While lack of shade can be a drawback during hot Texas summers, it is also acknowledged that this is something that could improve over time as trees and vegetation grow.
The proximity to the highway is also noted, with the reviewer stating, "It is close to the highway, I didn't think noise was too bad, but we have a true 4 season RV with good insulation." While this particular reviewer did not find the highway noise to be excessive due to their well-insulated RV, it is important for other potential guests, especially those in less insulated RVs or those sensitive to noise, to consider that highway proximity may result in some level of traffic noise.
Currently, there is no information available regarding any specific services beyond the full hookups, restrooms, and potentially the pool (though its quality is questioned). It is common for RV parks to offer additional amenities such as laundry facilities, Wi-Fi access, or recreational areas, but these are not mentioned in the provided reviews for Tyler Oaks RV Resort. Prospective visitors should inquire directly about the full range of services offered.
Similarly, there is no promotional information available in the provided reviews. To learn about any special rates, discounts for longer stays, or other promotions that Tyler Oaks RV Resort might be offering, it is essential to contact them directly via phone at (430) 235-2030 or +1 430-235-2030.
In conclusion, Tyler Oaks RV Resort in Tyler, TX, offers the advantages of spacious, well-spaced sites with full hookups, a table, and a fire pit. The presence of ducks and geese adds a touch of nature, and the park is reported to have easy access for larger RVs. However, potential visitors should be aware of concerns raised regarding sewer smells, trash, the small size and perceived quality of the pool, unclean bathrooms, and tall grass potentially leading to encounters with snakes. The lack of shade is also a point to consider, although it may improve over time. To obtain a comprehensive understanding of the current conditions, available services, and any ongoing promotions, direct contact with Tyler Oaks RV Resort is strongly recommended before making a booking.

Tyler Oaks RV Resort Reviews
Love watching the ducks and geeseLove the fact you had room for your rv / camper & had a table and a fire pit. But didn’t care for the sewer smell and trash everywhere . Even though we didn’t use the pool I thought it was extremely small and considered it just a wading pool. Bathroom’s weren’t very clean and the grass was tall which was scary because we saw a lot of snakes.

Mar 17, 2025 · Timothy MurryWe stayed 2 nights at Tyler Oaks while in town buying our 5th wheel camper. We are the private, quite to ourselves type of people. The campground was perfect for us. There were a lot of people there but still quiet and everyone was very friendly and respectful. The shower/bathroom was very clean and convenient for use if you didn’t want to use your camper for that. We would definitely stay there again if we are in town.
Nov 04, 2024 · Scott HargroveThe staff was very friendly and helpful. The sites were great for us. My dogs enjoyed the dog park. I was very unhappy with the amount of dog poop that was in the dog park. There were plenty of bags but people were not picking it up. While walking my dogs, I saw several piles of poop that was not picked up.
Oct 28, 2024 · Deb Schindler GrimWe were looking for an RV park to call home during our trips to Tyler visiting our daughter. We decided to try Tyler Oaks. What a blessing. Communications with LaQuita and staff in the office to set up our first 2-month stay were great. They were so kind and helpful throughout our October and November stay. The assigned spot, 97, was large and drained well when raining, with ample room for both our big 5th wheel and dually truck. The park is quiet, well kept, and friendly. The voltage at our site was strong and stayed in the safe zone even during warmer days. We were so happy to see our Verizon signal was 5 bars of 5G for streaming. LaQuita suggested a great mobile RV repair guy to use when we had a couple needed repairs. There is a Camping World only a few hundred yards down the highway. The stay all went smooth. When it came time to leave, we rented one of the secured, covered and powered (to keep batteries charged) storage slots next door and backed our 5ver in it, protected till we come back again. All in all, a great first experience. Thanks, y'all
