5 Star my foot! Sewer broke! Poop and cig butts all over the spot. Dumpy and gross place! Owner; rude liar. Tells you to pull in and pick a spot, then says he didn't and acts offended? I apologized and left FAST! Very confused by the owner!! HORRIBLE communication skills! The RVs here were 90% dumps and surrounded by garbage and debris. Dogs run around NO LEASHES! Grounds unkept, overgrown, debris everywhere! I do not recommend. Not worth it. - Lucy Vincent

5 Star RV Park Introduce

If you are searching for "RV parks near me" in the Tyler, Texas area, 5 Star RV Park, located at 10929 County Rd 35, presents a study in contrasts based on recent customer reviews. While one reviewer had a decidedly negative experience, another found the park to be a pleasant and suitable option. To provide an objective introduction, it's essential to consider both perspectives to give potential guests a comprehensive understanding of what to expect.

One particularly critical review paints a concerning picture of the park's environment and management. The reviewer emphatically states, "5 Star my foot!" and proceeds to describe issues such as a broken sewer with "Poop and cig butts all over the spot," labeling the park as "dumpy and gross." These are serious allegations regarding the basic sanitation and cleanliness of the RV sites. The same reviewer also characterizes the owner as "rude liar" and recounts a confusing interaction during check-in, citing "HORRIBLE communication skills." Furthermore, this feedback describes the majority of the RVs in the park as "90% dumps" surrounded by "garbage and debris," and notes that "Dogs run around NO LEASHES!" The reviewer concludes by stating that the grounds are "unkept, overgrown, debris everywhere" and strongly advises against staying at the park, deeming it "Not worth it." This detailed negative account raises significant red flags about the park's maintenance, safety, and management.

In stark contrast, another reviewer offers a much more positive assessment of 5 Star RV Park. This guest "Found owner nice, laid back, friendly" and noted that "Tenants we met friendly." This suggests that interactions with the owner and fellow guests can be positive and welcoming. The same reviewer describes the park as a "Nice quiet small park," highlighting a potentially peaceful atmosphere, which can be a significant draw for RVers seeking tranquility. This guest also mentions that this was their second visit, indicating a level of satisfaction that prompted a return stay. While they acknowledge experiencing storms during both visits (which they attribute to "Mother Nature"), they express love for "the atmosphere, the closeness to town and nice view leading to park." The reviewer also found the pricing to be "satisfactorily" and explicitly states, "If looking for whistles and bells, wrong park," suggesting that 5 Star RV Park offers a more basic, no-frills experience. Ultimately, this reviewer concludes, "Love it and quiet atmosphere. Our main park now when visiting Tyler," indicating a strong preference for this park despite its lack of extensive amenities.

Considering these divergent views, it is challenging to definitively characterize the environment of 5 Star RV Park. One perspective describes it as unclean and poorly maintained, while the other highlights its quiet and pleasant atmosphere with a nice approach and proximity to town. Potential guests will need to weigh these contrasting descriptions and consider what aspects are most important to their stay.

Similarly, the services and features of 5 Star RV Park are not clearly defined. The negative review points to a broken sewer system and generally unkept grounds, suggesting potential issues with basic infrastructure and maintenance. The positive review mentions the park being "small" and lacking "whistles and bells," implying that it offers essential services without extensive amenities. The presence of long-term residents ("Tenants we met friendly") suggests that the park caters to both short-term and potentially longer-term stays. However, specific details about hookups (water, electricity, sewer), restroom facilities, laundry, or other common RV park amenities are not provided in these reviews. The mention of unleashed dogs in the negative review also raises concerns about park rules and the safety and comfort of other guests.

No specific promotional information, such as discounts or special rates, is mentioned in either of the provided reviews. Individuals interested in learning about the pricing and availability at 5 Star RV Park will need to contact them directly at (903) 593-6815 or +1 903-593-6815.

In conclusion, 5 Star RV Park in Tyler, TX, appears to be a park with a mixed reputation. One reviewer experienced significant issues with cleanliness, maintenance, management conduct, and park rules, leading to a highly negative assessment. Conversely, another reviewer found the owner and tenants friendly, appreciated the quiet atmosphere and proximity to town, and considered the price satisfactory, making it their preferred park in the area. Potential guests searching for "RV parks near me" should carefully consider these contrasting opinions. If a quiet, no-frills park with a friendly owner and tenants is appealing, and the negative comments are viewed as isolated incidents or perhaps past issues, then 5 Star RV Park might be an option. However, the serious allegations regarding sanitation and maintenance should prompt caution and potentially further inquiry before making a decision. It would be advisable to contact the park directly to ask about their current conditions, rules regarding pets, and to address any concerns raised in the negative review.
