If you are searching for "RV parks near me" or affordable mobile home living options in the Edmond, Oklahoma area, Uni-City Mobile Home Park, located at 900 Fretz Ave, Edmond, OK 73003, USA, presents a mixed picture based on available customer reviews. You can contact them at (405) 341-5480 or their mobile line at +1 405-341-5480 to inquire about current availability and specific details.
When considering "RV parks near me" or mobile home parks for long-term residency, understanding the environment and overall living conditions is crucial. Uni-City Mobile Home Park receives contrasting feedback in this regard. One long-term resident of almost 30 years in Edmond described it as a "quiet place to live" and noted that "they have fixed the roads." This reviewer also highlighted the affordability, stating it's difficult to find a more affordable option for manufactured homes or RVs, where residents primarily pay for lot space, electricity, water, and disposal. This positive perspective suggests that the park may offer a budget-friendly living situation with some recent infrastructure improvements contributing to a more pleasant environment.
However, a significantly more critical review paints a starkly different picture of the living conditions at Uni-City Mobile Home Park. This reviewer strongly advises against living there, detailing numerous unresolved maintenance issues reported prior to move-in that persisted throughout their tenancy. They reported being ignored despite multiple requests through a maintenance portal. The quality of their unit allegedly led to constant illness, citing weeks without heat and poor air quality due to animal and feces under the unit. Furthermore, they claimed frequent water outages lasting several days and alleged inconsistencies and unexplained hikes in their water bills, with the management refusing to have the meter read. This negative review portrays the park as "uninhabitable," alleging violations of Oklahoma statutes and laws, and ultimately led to the reviewer and their elderly father ending their tenancy prematurely due to health concerns. This feedback raises serious concerns about the maintenance, utility services, and overall habitability of the units within the park.
The services offered at Uni-City Mobile Home Park appear to be a point of contention based on the provided reviews. While one long-term resident mentions the payment structure for lot space, electricity, water, and disposal, the critical review details significant issues with the provision and billing of water services, as well as a lack of responsiveness to essential maintenance needs, including heating and sanitation. The discrepancy between these accounts highlights the potential for variability in the quality of services experienced by residents. Prospective residents, especially those considering Uni-City as one of their "RV parks near me" options for long-term stays, should thoroughly investigate the current state of maintenance protocols, utility service reliability, and the responsiveness of the management to resident concerns. Inquiring about specific services offered, such as laundry facilities, waste management, and park upkeep, is strongly recommended.
Features of Uni-City Mobile Home Park, as suggested by the reviews, include its affordability (according to one resident), its quiet atmosphere (also according to one resident), and the recent road repairs. For budget-conscious individuals owning manufactured homes or RVs and seeking a potentially quiet environment, these aspects might be appealing. However, the critical review raises serious concerns about the quality of the units, the lack of maintenance, unreliable utility services (specifically water and heating), and potentially unfair billing practices. These negative points significantly outweigh the positive mentions and should be carefully considered by anyone contemplating residency. The alleged neglect of maintenance and utility issues could impact the health and safety of residents, making these significant drawbacks. Therefore, while affordability and a potentially quiet setting might be features for some, the reported issues with habitability and management responsiveness are critical factors that cannot be ignored.
Promotional information for Uni-City Mobile Home Park is not available within the provided text. To learn about any current offers, incentives for new residents (whether for mobile homes or RVs), or specific lot rental rates, it is recommended to contact the park management directly at the provided phone numbers. Given the starkly contrasting reviews, it would be particularly prudent to inquire about the park's policies on maintenance requests, utility billing, and tenant rights and responsibilities before making any decisions. Understanding the full cost of residency, including lot rental fees, utility charges, and any other potential fees, is essential for assessing its affordability.
The provided customer reviews for Uni-City Mobile Home Park present a deeply divided perspective. While one long-term resident expresses overall satisfaction with the affordability, quiet environment, and recent road improvements, another recent resident recounts a severely negative experience characterized by neglected maintenance, unreliable utilities, and health concerns, ultimately leading to their immediate departure. This significant discrepancy suggests that potential living experiences at Uni-City Mobile Home Park may vary considerably. For those searching for "RV parks near me" or mobile home parks in Edmond, it is crucial to weigh these contrasting accounts carefully and conduct thorough due diligence before considering residency.
In conclusion, Uni-City Mobile Home Park in Edmond, OK, offers potentially affordable lot rentals for manufactured homes and RVs in what one resident describes as a quiet environment with recent road improvements. However, a more recent and highly critical review details severe issues with unaddressed maintenance, unreliable utilities (including prolonged water outages and lack of heat), questionable water billing practices, and overall uninhabitable living conditions. This stark contrast in experiences underscores the need for prospective residents to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough personal investigation, including visiting the park, inspecting potential living spaces (if applicable), and directly and extensively questioning the management about their maintenance protocols, utility service reliability, billing practices, and tenant support. The significant concerns raised in one of the reviews cannot be dismissed and should be a primary focus for anyone considering Uni-City Mobile Home Park as one of their "RV parks near me" or mobile home living options in Edmond.

Uni-City Mobile Home Park Reviews
I've lived in Edmond for almost 30 years and I know you will not find a more affordable place to live if you own a manufactured home or RV you just paid the lot space which is extremely affordable and electric and water disposal. It is a quiet place to live they have fixed the roads. I believe anywhere you choose to live you'll eventually run into some issues however I've lived in homes apartments and trailers and overall I've been very happy with my experience at this place
Oct 19, 2024 · Austin GiacomoIf I could give this place 0 stars, I would. This is a warning for anyone wanting to live here- DON’T. Moved here with my dad in september and notified the office of all the maintenance repairs that needed to be made PRIOR to move in which did not get resolved THE ENTIRE TIME WE LIVED THERE. We put in requests on their maintence portal multiple times and were ignored constantly. The quality of the unit we lived in made us constantly sick, whether it was the many weeks we went without heat because the office refused to fix it or sick from the air quality from animal and feces under the unit. We would go without water for several days as well on multiple occasions. The place is uninhabitable and they have broke several OK stats/laws. They hiked up our water bill every month and refused to have someone actually read the meter. And so many more issues… We ended our tenancy immediately last month once we realized it was unhealthy for us to live there especially since my dad is elder. This place should honestly be shut down.
Mar 11, 2024 · Virginia MillerThe owner must not know what's going on. The streets are bad. The pipes are always breaking and they turn water off all the time sometimes they tell you and sometimes they don't. They say you can't subidiced but there's more than one person doing it. You have to have A-1 on there applications. Water gos up all the time on your rent. It took months to sell my place lost money. The pool was open one week the whole summer . The only good thing I can say is it's quiet. I'm so glad I don't live there anymore. Sorry for 2 stars.
