Twin Fountains RV Park Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Twin Fountains RV Park is located at 2727 NE 63rd St, Oklahoma City, OK 73111, USA. They can be contacted at (405) 475-5514 or their mobile number, +1 405-475-5514, for inquiries and reservations. Recent customer reviews provide a mixed perspective on the park, highlighting both its advantages and disadvantages for potential local users.
One reviewer, who stayed at site #P1, noted several positive aspects. They appreciated the greater spacing between campers at this site compared to what they perceived as crowded conditions at most other sites. The site offered full hookups (FHU), which is a significant convenience for RVers. The presence of a pond adjacent to the site was also a plus, potentially offering a pleasant view and ambiance. Additionally, the site was equipped with a propane grill (though unused by this reviewer), a sun shade over a cement patio with a small table, chair, and loveseat, and a nice swing, suggesting an effort to provide comfortable outdoor living spaces.
However, this same reviewer also pointed out several cons associated with site #P1 and the park in general. The site was reported as not level, which can be problematic for RV setup and appliance operation. The area around the electrical box was noted to hold water, potentially posing an electrical hazard or inconvenience. Furthermore, key amenities like the pool and mini-golf were closed during their stay, which could be disappointing for guests looking to utilize these recreational facilities. The "pickle ball court" was described as being in a poor location, suggesting it might not be easily accessible or well-maintained.
The pet facilities at Twin Fountains RV Park received particularly critical feedback from this reviewer. One dog run, measuring only 5ft x 10ft, was located outside the park next to an "unkept area," which might not be a desirable or safe environment for pets. The other designated "dog run" was described as a small (10ft x 10ft) fenced-in "mud hole," indicating poor maintenance and an unsuitable surface for dogs, especially after rain. Interestingly, this reviewer found a "wonderful, well kept paved dog friendly public walking/exercise trail area across from the RV park," suggesting that while the on-site pet facilities were lacking, a better alternative was conveniently located nearby.
Another guest who stayed for three weeks reported "mixed feelings" about Twin Fountains RV Park. On the positive side, they highlighted a "great groomer" on-site, which is a significant convenience for pet owners. They also noted that the bar area was nice and that they felt safe during their stay. Additionally, they mentioned having "great neighbors," suggesting a positive community atmosphere within the park. This reviewer indicated they would stay again for a short term.
However, this longer-term guest also experienced several drawbacks. They echoed the concern about the dog park, describing it as "dirt only tiny dog park." The main pool was also not open during their three-week stay, which could be a major disappointment, especially during warmer months. Their assigned site, W16, was reported as "so steep" that it caused damage to their RV's "poop hose," and the response from the park was simply "sorry." This lack of adequate site leveling and the dismissive response to damage are significant negatives.
Furthermore, this guest mentioned workers digging in the yard for four days, which could have been disruptive. They also recounted an incident where a lady banged on their door on the second day, asking them to move their truck, apparently because workers needed access to the spot they had paid for in advance. The guest, who works from their RV and was on a call at the time, expressed a desire for better communication or advance notice if work was planned for their site.
Considering the environment of Twin Fountains RV Park, its location on NE 63rd Street in Oklahoma City places it within a more urbanized area compared to some of the more rural RV parks on the outskirts of the city. The presence of a pond near at least one site suggests that there might be some water features within the park, potentially adding to the aesthetic appeal for some guests. However, the reviews do not provide extensive details about the overall landscaping or natural surroundings of the park.
In terms of services, Twin Fountains RV Park offers full hookups (FHU) at least at some sites, as mentioned by one reviewer. The presence of a laundromat is implied, as a three-week guest would likely need such facilities. The availability and functionality of Wi-Fi are not explicitly mentioned in these reviews. The reported closure of the main pool and mini-golf indicates that the recreational amenities might not always be operational or well-maintained. The existence of a groomer on-site is a unique service that would be highly valued by pet owners.
The features of Twin Fountains RV Park appear to be somewhat inconsistent based on the reviews. Some sites, like #P1, offer enhanced outdoor living spaces with patios, furniture, and even a grill and swing. However, other sites, like W16, are reported as being significantly unlevel. The presence of two dog runs is mentioned, but their poor condition (one small and outside the park in an unkept area, the other a muddy enclosure) is a significant drawback for pet owners. The temporary or prolonged closure of the pool and mini-golf also detracts from the park's features. The bar area mentioned by one reviewer is a notable social feature.
There is no promotional information included in the provided reviews. Local users interested in staying at Twin Fountains RV Park would need to contact the park directly to inquire about current rates, seasonal specials, or any discounts for longer stays. It would also be wise to ask about the operational status of the pool, mini-golf, and the condition of the RV sites and pet areas before making a reservation.
In conclusion, Twin Fountains RV Park in Oklahoma City appears to be a facility with potential but also with notable drawbacks based on recent customer feedback. The friendly neighbors and the availability of a groomer are positives. Some sites offer more space and enhanced outdoor amenities. However, issues with unlevel sites, poor dog park conditions, and the closure of the main pool and mini-golf are significant concerns. The incident with the steep site causing damage and the lack of proactive communication regarding yard work also suggest potential shortcomings in park management and maintenance. Local users searching for "RV parks near me" in Oklahoma City should carefully weigh these pros and cons and consider their individual needs and priorities, especially if traveling with pets or expecting specific amenities to be available. It is highly recommended to contact the park directly for the most up-to-date information on site availability, amenity status, and any current promotions.
Prospective guests might find Twin Fountains suitable for short-term stays if they prioritize safety and a friendly community. However, those planning longer stays or traveling with pets who require adequate exercise areas should inquire extensively about the current condition of the facilities. The proximity to a well-maintained public walking trail across the street is a significant advantage for dog owners willing to venture just outside the park. Ultimately, a direct conversation with the park management and potentially a visit to assess the current conditions would be beneficial before making a reservation at Twin Fountains RV Park.

Twin Fountains RV Park Reviews
Site#P1 pros: more space between campers, (most sites crowded), FHU, pond on side of site, propane grill (didn't use), sun shade over cement patio with small table, chair and love seat, and nice swing too. Cons: not level, the area at the electrical box holds water, the pool was closed, mini golf was closed, "pickle ball court" poor location, 1 dog run 5ft x 10ft was outside the park next to unkept area, the other "dog run" 10 x 10 fenced in mud hole. I found a wonderful, well kept paved dog friendly public walking/exercise trail area across from the RV park.

Would stay again short term.Cons: dirt only tiny dog park, main pool wasnt open, site w16 so steap took out my poop hose on rv, ( sorry was the response)workers was digging in the yard 4 days( and some lady banged on our door think day 2 to move the truck, we work from RV and was on a call, would of liked some heads up if people needed to work in the spot we paid for in advance)
Apr 18, 2025 · kyla GaylesThis was our first outing with our RV and our first experience staying at an RV park. From the start the staff was amazing and very friendly. They answered my questions and made the process easy. When we arrived a lady met me at my RV then led us to our spot. The park was easy to navigate in our 35ft class A. The site was a nice pull through concrete pad. The park seemed clean and well maintained. They told us they come around every morning and collect any trash we set out. The bathrooms and showers were nice and kept clean. The wifi didn't work so you might want to have your own source for that. Overall our first time was a great experience and we look forward to using our RV more. This will definitely be our go to spot when we travel this way.
Apr 04, 2025 · T ESTAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!As an avid campground user, I’ve never given a negative review of a campground - until today. This place is horrible.I went in to get information about renting a space. I also have a developmental disability and communication can be somewhat difficult for me.The staff treated me so disrespectfully and condescendingly. They were absolutely terrible and downright mean. There also appeared to be a sense of they were doing me a favor by letting me stay there - not that I was a customer.I also observed that the place was filthy, the grounds looked run down, the security gate appeared to be broken. It did not look safe and I did not feel safe. Please do not stay here.
Jan 03, 2025 · Charles Spitzer-StadtlanderThe lots are all on hills unlevel is not the word. Cute little restaurant with music. Pool was black. Miniature Golf course closed. Pickleball courts in poor shape. 90% fulltimers.
