Village of the Four Seasons Introduce
For those searching for "RV parks near me" in the San Jose, CA area with an interest in a more permanent, community-oriented living situation, Village of the Four Seasons, located at 200 Ford Rd, San Jose, CA 95138, USA, presents itself as an all-age mobile home community with a variety of features and amenities. According to some descriptions, this community aims to offer something for everyone, fostering an active and engaging environment for its residents.
The Village of the Four Seasons is described as having a "plethora of community organized activities," suggesting a vibrant social scene and opportunities for residents to connect and engage with one another. The presence of a "community swimming pool" highlights a key recreational amenity, perfect for enjoying the California weather and socializing with neighbors. For indoor recreation, residents can take advantage of the "beautiful billiard facilities" and a "great whirlpool-spa-hot tub," offering spaces for relaxation and leisure.
Families with children will appreciate the "basketball courts and nice playground," providing dedicated areas for kids to play and stay active after school. The community also boasts a "spacious clubhouse," which can serve as a venue for hosting social events, and a "huge game room," offering another space for entertainment and family fun.
The community is also highlighted as "pet friendly" and "family oriented," indicating a welcoming atmosphere for both families with children and pet owners. For added convenience, Village of the Four Seasons offers "on-site laundry facilities and management," aiming to make daily life more comfortable for its residents. Furthermore, its location is noted to be "just 1 mile from local area shopping and dining opportunities," providing easy access to everyday necessities and leisure activities outside the community.
The initial positive descriptions suggest that living in Village of the Four Seasons could offer an easy and potentially more affordable lifestyle within the San Jose metro area, given the range of amenities and the sense of community promoted.
However, it is crucial to consider all available information to form a balanced perspective. A more recent review from a resident who moved in a year ago presents a contrasting viewpoint. This resident states that, with their current knowledge, they would not have proceeded with their move, emphasizing that this sentiment is not related to the economy.
The review raises significant concerns regarding the "office staff," whom the resident describes as prioritizing their own convenience over resident needs. A specific example is provided concerning the placement of the "office and janitorial trash bin" in the middle of a road, allegedly due to the staff's reluctance to move it for pickups, despite it obstructing a major park entrance and exit lane. The resident recounts witnessing fire trucks struggling to navigate this obstruction, questioning why a large trash bin can occupy a full-sized parking space in a critical lane while residents face parking restrictions.
The issue of "parking" is further highlighted as a "huge problem," reportedly attributed to fire code regulations. The resident finds this explanation inconsistent with the placement of the trash bin in a way that impedes traffic, including emergency vehicles. This suggests a potential disconnect between stated rules and actual management practices.
Another significant concern raised is the absence of a "newsletter," with the resident stating that the reason given was the current office staff's unwillingness to continue its publication. This lack of communication can hinder community engagement and keep residents uninformed about important park updates or events.
The resident also mentions that prior to the current office staff, some of these issues were not present, implying a decline in management or community services. Furthermore, the absence of a "home owners group" is noted, suggesting that residents lack a formal channel to voice their concerns and hold management accountable.
Considering the contrasting perspectives, Village of the Four Seasons appears to be a community that, at least at one point, offered a range of appealing amenities and a family-friendly environment. However, recent resident feedback raises serious concerns about the current management practices, communication, and infrastructure issues such as parking and obstruction of access lanes.
For individuals considering Village of the Four Seasons as a potential long-term living option within the "RV parks near me" category (in the sense of residential parks), it is strongly recommended to conduct thorough due diligence. This should include visiting the property, observing the conditions firsthand, and attempting to speak with current residents to gain a broader understanding of their experiences. Directly engaging with the management to address the concerns raised in the review and to inquire about current policies and procedures is also crucial.
Given the information available, there is no specific promotional information to report. Prospective residents should inquire directly with the management about any current incentives or special offers that may be available.
In conclusion, Village of the Four Seasons offers a location in San Jose, CA, and advertises a variety of amenities suitable for all ages, including a pool, game room, and sports facilities, within a pet-friendly and family-oriented environment. However, potential residents must also carefully consider the recent negative feedback regarding management and infrastructure issues to make a well-informed decision. Direct investigation and communication with the park are essential steps for anyone interested in residing in this community.

Oct 24, 2023 · Alex Chow (Alex Chow Homes)I moved here a year ago. If I knew then what I know now I would not have closed the deal and it has nothing to do with the economy. The office staff are a piece of work. Anything they do is to make things easier for themselves. The office and janitorial trash bin sits in the middle of a road. This issue has a lot of back history to it. From what I last heard the location of where it sits is due to not having it not too close to the entrance, staff does not want to have to move it for pick ups, etc.For a park this size I was surprised to learn;* parking is a huge problem. We are told it's because of the fire code. If this is true, then why is it okay to have a full sized trash bin taking up a full sized car space in a major park entrance and exit lane? Twice I witnessed two large pieces of fire trucks trying to navigate the obstructed lane. I could not pass the fire trucks in that part of the lane. This makes no sense except that staff does not want to move the bin. If it's still okay for the bin to be there then why can't we park in front of our home?* There is no newsletter. The reason I was given for not having one is the current office staff doesn't want to do it anymore. There's even more but I can't add it due to space issues.I was told that before the current office staff we had some of these things and more. We don't have a home owners group here so residents are not heard and management is not held responsible at Village of the Four Seasons.
Jan 01, 2023 · Michael KalbI have lived here for 6 years and my husband bought the home and has been here since 2001.It's a great place to live. I feel safe and that is the most important. It's clean and quiet. My kids love playing at the main park at the club house and the various smaller parks at the end of a few of the "streets".Our neighbors are friendly and the office staff are always nice and cheerful. We have had a bad manager in the past and the park went a bit down hill but that has turned around with the new management. There is plenty of parking for guests and they have a club house with pool tables. A nice pool and kiddie pool, along with a hot tub.I like it here.
Aug 27, 2016 · Sabrina Browni lived here for 4 years and its not bad, in my first years there was a lot of noise. yet now recently I've noticed the security and things got a lot more quite and I feel a lot safer. I have never felt threatened while living here and its a great place for a small family.
