Westridge Mobile Homes Park Introduce
For individuals seeking "RV parks near me" in the Superior Township, Michigan area, it's beneficial to explore different types of residential communities that might accommodate recreational vehicles, especially for those considering extended stays. Westridge Mobile Homes Park, located at 1515 Ridge Rd #285, Superior Township, MI 48198, is primarily a mobile home park. For those considering this location for potential RV living, it is crucial to carefully review available information and feedback from current or former residents to make an informed decision.
Westridge Mobile Homes Park can be contacted at (734) 484-0730 or via mobile phone at +1 734-484-0730. These contact numbers provide a direct line to the park's management, allowing potential residents, including those with RVs, to inquire about current availability, policies regarding recreational vehicles, and the specific amenities and services offered. It is advisable to reach out to understand if the community accommodates RVs for long-term stays and what specific provisions are in place.
However, it is essential to consider the feedback provided by individuals who have lived at or interacted with Westridge Mobile Homes Park. The reviews present a mixed picture, with some expressing significant dissatisfaction and others reporting a more positive experience. One recent update strongly advises against renting at Westridge, labeling it a "trailer dump park." This reviewer recounts a negative experience involving the placement and subsequent relocation of their new trailer, the embarrassment of having a new trailer in a poorly maintained park, and ultimately facing bankruptcy related to the trailer and a substantial judgment for unpaid lot rent after moving out to secure HUD housing due to low income. This individual also mentions a five-year contract they were unaware of, the apparent ease with which other low-income residents left behind dilapidated trailers, and the lack of effort by the park to clean up these unoccupied sites. They describe the maintenance man as "lazy" and the park as a "dump," strongly recommending seeking safer and cleaner alternatives.
Another review from the same individual's older post mentions having a "nice lot" but details several unresolved problems. These include excessively high speed bumps, inadequate snow removal on park roads, debris and uncleared lots for unoccupied sites, residents leaving discarded items on their porches, and older homes for sale in poor condition. A particularly concerning issue raised was the lack of grounding of their home despite multiple requests over a year, which is described as a dangerous situation.
In contrast, another reviewer describes Westridge as a "nice, quiet place" where they enjoy the peaceful evenings in their backyard, free from neighborly disputes. They mention that they and their neighbors help each other out and state that they plan to live out their days there in peace, even recommending the park to their mother. This positive review offers a starkly different perspective on the community.
The conflicting nature of these reviews highlights the importance of careful consideration and further investigation for anyone considering Westridge Mobile Homes Park for long-term RV living. While one resident found it to be a peaceful and supportive community, another experienced significant issues with park conditions, management practices, and financial obligations.
When evaluating Westridge Mobile Homes Park as a potential option for "RV parks near me," it is crucial to directly contact the management to inquire about their specific policies and accommodations for RVs. Questions to ask should include whether they have designated RV sites, what types of hookups are available (e.g., water, sewer, electricity – including amperage), the length of stay permitted for RVs, and the associated costs (lot rental, utilities, any additional fees). It would also be beneficial to understand any rules and regulations specific to RV residents.
Given the significant concerns raised in some of the reviews regarding park maintenance, road conditions, and management practices, it would be highly advisable to request a visit to the park and to any potential RV sites before making any commitment. This personal inspection would allow you to assess the environment firsthand, observe the general condition of the park and its residents' properties, and evaluate whether the atmosphere and infrastructure meet your expectations for a comfortable and safe living experience. If possible, speaking with current residents (if the park management permits) could provide additional insights into the day-to-day realities of living in Westridge Mobile Homes Park.
It is important to note that mobile home parks and RV parks often operate under different models and may offer varying amenities and community structures. While some mobile home parks might accommodate RVs, the primary focus is typically on long-term residency in manufactured homes. Therefore, the services and facilities might be geared towards this type of living arrangement rather than the specific needs of RV travelers, who might expect features like dedicated recreational areas, dump stations, or short-term stay options.
For individuals specifically searching for "RV parks near me" for temporary stays or travel purposes, it is recommended to also explore other options in the Superior Township, Michigan area that are explicitly designated as RV parks or campgrounds. These facilities are generally designed with the needs of RVers in mind and often offer a wider range of amenities tailored to recreational vehicles and shorter-term stays. Websites and directories specializing in RV parks and campgrounds can be valuable resources in this search.
In conclusion, while Westridge Mobile Homes Park in Superior Township, Michigan, is located within the vicinity of those searching for "RV parks near me," the available feedback presents a complex picture. While one resident reported a positive and peaceful experience, others detailed significant concerns about park conditions, maintenance, and management practices. Direct communication with the park management and a personal visit are strongly recommended to ascertain the suitability of the park for your specific needs and expectations as an RV owner considering a long-term stay. Exploring other dedicated RV parks and campgrounds in the area is also advisable to ensure you find the best fit for your living requirements.

Westridge Mobile Homes Park Reviews
UPDATE: BEWARE: I'd like to give a zero Do not even rent here. Superior Twp, MI.We got in for a special that was offered. They moved our new trailer in from not far from them on Michigan Avenue . They put it in too small of a lot and the inspector requested it had to be moved. So it was then moved to a larger lot. It was so embarrassing to have a brand new very nice trailer in this trailer dump park. We did not invite visitors even though we had a new trailer. My boyfriend and I broke up and I filed bankruptcy on the trailer. I should have put the trailer park in the bankruptcy....stupid me!!!I paid the lot rent as long as I could. I was staying with relatives and needed to get my phoneown HUD apartment. I live on Social Security income. I totally did not remember about about a five year contract. They went to court but I knew it was useless so I did not go. The stress was just too much. I knew they would get their judgment against me. So I now have somewhere around a 13,000 judgment against me, including interest.. All the other low income people seemed to walk away leaving the dilapidated trailers there. Many unoccupied trailers like that were just sitting there empty with no attempt by the trailer park to even clean them up on the outside.I do not know what we were thinking:( Both of our names were on the lease but they said I signed first. The maintenance man was lazy and any time I went in there to pay lot rent, he was sitting in the lady rent collector's office.UNLESS YOU WANT TO LIVE IN A DUMP, DO NOT MOVE IN THERE. EVEN IF YOU SAVE MONEY ON LOT RENT, IT IS NOT WORTH HAVING TO LIVE IN A DUMP.I had knee surgery and the roads were awful so I could not risk walking on them for healing exercise. Please apply to HUD or look for a safer, clean trailer park nowhere near Westridge.‐-----------------------‐------------------------------Old post:We have a nice lot, but there are problems that are not addressed. The speed bumps are too high and guests coming in are not aware so we have to warn them. The park roads are not cleared as they should be in snowy weather. Lots that are not occupied contain debris and not cleared. Some residents have throw away items on their porches. There are older homes for sale for quite some time that are in poor shape. Lastly, we moved in a year ago and our home is still not grounded despite many requests, which is a dangerous situation.
Jan 22, 2025 · Joyce PetersonNice , quiet place. We enjoy sitting in our backyard late into the evening. It's really nice not to hear anybody fighting and carrying on. This is the third place that we've lived in and we and enjoy it so much. And we plan to live out our days here in peace. Our neighbors are really great and we all help each other out. I would recommend this place to even my mom.
Jun 05, 2019 · plymouth cantonI've been here since 1990. It's a decent middle of the road mobile home park. Management is easy to approach and keeps us well informed in emails. And maintenance is very approachable as well. I've enjoyed my years here.
Dec 01, 2022 · Margaret RinehartThe manager speaks to other residents about your personal business. She gossips. She's rude and fake. She lies. She's sneaky. I hate this place and its only because of the manager and her boyfriend the maitenace man. There a joke. The parking is shut the roads. This could be a great community with better management and better parking. Thanks that's it
May 31, 2017 · ZECH - TOPIABeen good living here. Now I get along great with the management, Cindy and Jeff, are two of the best team of managers to have.
