Mobile Manor Trailer Park Introduce
Are you searching for "RV parks near me" or considering mobile home living in the Belleville, Michigan area? Mobile Manor Trailer Park, located at 600 Sumpter Rd, Belleville, MI 48111, is a mobile home park in Wayne County. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Mobile Manor Trailer Park based on the limited customer reviews available online. It is important to note that the feedback is mixed, with one highly positive review and another detailing serious allegations and concerns that prospective residents should carefully consider.
Belleville is a city in Wayne County, Michigan, offering a location southwest of Detroit with access to local amenities and potentially a more suburban or rural setting depending on the specific area. Sumpter Road runs through Belleville and extends into surrounding townships, suggesting Mobile Manor Trailer Park may be situated in a location with a mix of residential and possibly more open spaces. One reviewer praises the location as the "Best location to live," indicating a potential advantage of the park's setting in relation to local conveniences, employment opportunities, or personal preferences.
Given the platform category "RV parks near me," it is important to assess whether Mobile Manor Trailer Park primarily caters to long-term residential mobile home living or offers accommodations for recreational vehicles. The name "Trailer Park" historically has been used interchangeably with "Mobile Home Park," typically referring to communities with leased lots for manufactured homes. While some such parks might occasionally accommodate RVs, their primary focus is usually on longer-term residents. The limited information does not definitively clarify if Mobile Manor Trailer Park offers short-term RV parking. Individuals specifically seeking such facilities in the Belleville area should likely explore other options explicitly advertised as RV parks or campgrounds.
The available customer reviews for Mobile Manor Trailer Park present a stark contrast in experiences. One reviewer expresses strong positive sentiment, stating, "I love this place!! 😀 Best location to live. Great landlord. Mostly quiet." This positive feedback highlights a potentially well-managed and peaceful community with a desirable location, at least according to this individual's experience.
However, the second review details very serious allegations and concerns. This individual recounts a negative interaction with someone presumed to be the landlord or management. They claim they were denied the opportunity to apply for residency based on the disability status of their daughter and cousin. The reviewer states they were told they had a month to find a good job and then had the phone hung up on them. They further allege that their calls and texts have been ignored. If these claims are accurate, they represent serious allegations of discrimination, which is illegal and unethical.
Adding to these concerns, the same reviewer mentions that "Paul is an electrician and most the homes have electrical issues." This suggests potential safety hazards and a lack of adequate maintenance or infrastructure within the park. Electrical problems in mobile homes can be serious and require prompt and professional attention. The reviewer also points out an apparent inconsistency, stating that "management" and several other tenants are on disability, yet this was cited as a reason for not allowing the reviewer to apply, further supporting their claim of discrimination.
Based on these limited but significant reviews, Mobile Manor Trailer Park presents a complex picture with potential benefits and serious risks:
- Potentially Desirable Location: One reviewer praises it as the "Best location to live."
- Potentially Good Landlord: The same positive review commends the landlord.
- Mostly Quiet Environment: Also noted in the positive review.
However, the negative review raises very serious red flags:
- Allegations of Discrimination: Claiming denial of application based on disability status.
- Unresponsive Management: Allegations of refusing to return calls or answer texts.
- Potential Electrical Issues: Claiming that many homes have electrical problems.
- Inconsistent Application Practices: Pointing out that others on disability reside in the park while it was used as a reason to deny an application.
Given the gravity of the allegations in the negative review, prospective residents are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and conduct very thorough due diligence before considering Mobile Manor Trailer Park. This investigation should include:
- Visiting the Property in Person: A visit is essential to assess the general condition of the park, the appearance of the homes, and the overall atmosphere.
- Attempting to Contact Management: Reach out to the park management at (989) 854-8393 or +1 989-854-8393 to inquire about lot availability, application procedures, and park rules and regulations. Pay close attention to their responsiveness and professionalism.
- Specifically Inquire About Application Policies: Ask detailed questions about their application process and ensure that their policies comply with fair housing laws and do not discriminate based on disability or other protected statuses.
- Inquire About Maintenance Procedures: Ask about how maintenance issues, particularly electrical problems, are addressed within the park.
- Speaking with Current Residents (If Possible): If you can, try to speak with current residents to get a broader range of perspectives on the management, the community environment, and the upkeep of the park.
- Seeking Information from Local Agencies: You may consider contacting local housing authorities or tenant rights organizations to inquire if they have any information or records regarding Mobile Manor Trailer Park.
There is no information available online regarding any specific promotional offers for Mobile Manor Trailer Park. Given the serious allegations in one of the only two reviews, it is unlikely they would be actively advertising without addressing potential underlying issues.
In conclusion, Mobile Manor Trailer Park in Belleville, Michigan, presents a mixed picture based on the limited available reviews. While one resident reports a positive experience with the location and landlord, another raises very serious allegations of discrimination and concerns about the condition of the homes, particularly regarding electrical issues, and unresponsive management. Prospective residents must be aware of these conflicting accounts and are strongly urged to conduct thorough personal investigation and due diligence to determine if this community meets their needs and standards, and if the management practices are fair and compliant with housing laws. Proceeding with caution is advisable.
