White Knoll RV Park Introduce
For local users in the Lexington, South Carolina area searching for "RV parks near me," White Knoll RV Park, located at 2024 S Lake Dr, Lexington, SC 29073, USA, presents itself as a potential option. This RV park aims to cater to both short-term and potentially long-term stays, offering various amenities and services. To provide an objective introduction, we've compiled information from available customer reviews to give you a detailed overview of what White Knoll RV Park offers.
According to customer feedback, White Knoll RV Park offers essential utility hookups at each lot, including water and septic connections. This is a fundamental requirement for most RV travelers, ensuring convenience and functionality during their stay. Furthermore, each lot is equipped with power hookups and an individual meter, allowing for the billing of electricity based on actual usage. This can be beneficial for longer stays, providing control over energy consumption costs.
For added convenience, White Knoll RV Park provides communal laundry facilities, with two washing machines and two dryers available for use at an extra cost. While the cost is additional, the availability of on-site laundry can be a significant advantage, especially for travelers on extended trips or those who prefer not to use off-site laundromats.
Pet owners will appreciate the presence of a designated dog run area within the RV park. This feature allows for a safe and contained space for dogs to exercise and socialize, which is often a crucial consideration for those traveling with pets. The positive mention of this amenity suggests that White Knoll RV Park acknowledges and caters to the needs of RVers who travel with their furry companions.
One of the notable features of White Knoll RV Park, as highlighted by a reviewer, is its association with White Knoll Mini Storage. This connection allows RV and boat owners the option to store their vehicles during the off-season, subject to availability and associated costs. This could be particularly appealing to local residents who need a secure and convenient storage solution for their recreational vehicles when not in use.
The management of White Knoll RV Park receives positive feedback, with one reviewer describing the owner as "very nice" and the on-site management as "super accommodating." This suggests a commitment to customer service and a willingness to address any issues that may arise promptly. The reviewer also mentions that any problems encountered were met with efforts to resolve them quickly, which can contribute significantly to a positive guest experience.
However, not all feedback is entirely positive. One reviewer expressed disappointment regarding the grading of the parking spots, estimating a significant slope from front to rear on their site. This unevenness required the use of excessive leveling equipment, which can be inconvenient and time-consuming for RV owners. The observation that many other RV sites also appeared sloped suggests this might be a general issue within the park. Potential visitors with larger or more sensitive RVs should be aware of this possibility and come prepared with adequate leveling equipment.
The placement of utilities at the back corner of the sites was also noted as a potential inconvenience, particularly for longer RVs, as it could result in a significant distance between the hookups and the RV's connection points. This might necessitate longer hoses and cables, which some RVers may not carry or prefer to use.
Another point of consideration is the proximity of some sites to each other, with one reviewer noting that some appeared "very close together." This could impact the sense of privacy and personal space for occupants of those sites. If you value a more spacious setup, it might be worth inquiring about site layouts and availability when booking.
Interestingly, one reviewer reported issues with their Verizon MiFi service due to interference from nearby cell towers, although their phones continued to work. This is a specific technical issue that might affect travelers relying on certain mobile internet providers. It's advisable to check with the park management or other recent visitors about current internet connectivity experiences if this is a crucial factor for your stay.
Finally, the mention of "lots of bare dirt" suggests that the landscaping might be minimal or still developing in some areas of the park. This could impact the overall aesthetic appeal and potentially lead to dust or mud depending on weather conditions. While not a critical amenity, the environment and upkeep of the grounds can contribute to the overall comfort and enjoyment of an RV park.
In summary, White Knoll RV Park offers essential amenities such as water, septic, and metered power hookups at each lot, along with laundry facilities and a dog run. Its association with a nearby storage facility provides an added benefit for local RV and boat owners. The on-site management appears to be responsive and accommodating. However, potential drawbacks include uneven parking sites, inconvenient utility placement for longer RVs, potentially close site spacing, and reported issues with Verizon MiFi service. The presence of bare dirt might also be a consideration for some.
For local users searching for "RV parks near me" and considering White Knoll RV Park, it is recommended to weigh these pros and cons based on your individual needs and preferences. If level sites and specific internet service are critical, further inquiry or exploration of other options in the Lexington area might be warranted. However, the park's essential amenities, pet-friendly policy, and helpful management could make it a suitable choice for some RVers, especially those seeking longer-term stays or storage solutions. Contacting the park directly at (803) 348-4329 or +1 803-348-4329 for the most up-to-date information on site availability, pricing, and any recent improvements is always a good practice.

White Knoll RV Park Reviews
It's an alright place, they own White knoll mini storage so you can store your RV/boat in off season if they have room for a price. Water and septic hookups at every lot. Power hookups for every lot with a meter. Lot rent varies on lot length and electricity is billed based on usage. 2 washers and 2 dryers available at extra cost.Dog run area. Owner is very nice and on-site management is super accommodating. Any issues I've had they try to take care of right away
Mar 17, 2025 · Jeremiah JohnsonI'm disappointed that a relatively new RV park can't use a level when grading the parking spots. I estimate our site drops 6"-8" front to rear, requiring excessive jacking or boards. I observed many other RV sites equally sloped. Unfortunately, the utilities are positioned at the back corner, putting them quite far away from hookups if you have a longer RV. Some sites looked very close together. Our Verizon MiFi wouldn't work because of the very close cell towers interference. Our phones did work, though. Lots of bare dirt. This park was OK for an overnight.
Jun 30, 2024 · David ButtonWhat a convenient and well maintained RV park. I stopped in to check it out and was very happy with what I saw. Good management, fair rates, and there is a self-storage facility right next to it for added convenience. Highly Recommended
Oct 12, 2023 · Mr. Sewell (Jared Sewell)I stayed there for a month and found it quiet, clean, and safe. The neighboring RV owners were friendly and helpful. For sure, there is a nice bunch of people staying there, so the owner must carefully screen the residents. The trash bin stayed dumped and the landscape was always clean. Residents kept their dogs well controlled. I would have given 5 stars if the grass had been cut during my stay, but that's a minor thing considering my peaceful stay.
Nov 23, 2023 · Ashley WhitlockWe spent three days here while visiting Lexington. Very basic with gravel roads and pads. Some are out of level and when my jacks lifted my rear tires off the ground I knew I needed a different site. Owner was happy to work with me and got set up on a different site. There is no WiFi, but Verizon service was good and I was able to stream my TV using my data connection.Large dog park to let the dogs get rid of some energy. They describe themselves as a "RV Community" and most staying here appear to be long term residents.Close to town, so everything is fairly close by.
