Wood Village Mobile Home Park Introduce
While our platform category focuses on "RV parks near me," we understand that local users in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, may also be searching for mobile home park options. In this context, we present an objective introduction to Wood Village Mobile Home Park, located at 3611 Rice Mine Rd NE, Tuscaloosa, AL 35406, USA. This introduction is based on the limited and somewhat contrasting feedback available from online reviews.
Wood Village Mobile Home Park is described by one reviewer as a "Huge place," indicating a potentially large community with numerous residents and homes. This size could suggest a diverse population and a range of housing options within the park. However, another aspect mentioned in the reviews is the layout of the community, with a comment noting that "homes squeezed in together." This suggests that while the park may be large overall, the individual lot sizes and spacing between homes might be relatively compact. Prospective residents may want to consider this density when evaluating their comfort and privacy preferences.
One of the positive aspects highlighted in the reviews is that Wood Village Mobile Home Park is considered "family friendly." This suggests that the community may be welcoming to families with children, potentially offering an environment where kids can interact and families can feel comfortable. This could be a significant factor for those with children who are looking for a community-oriented living situation.
However, it is crucial to address the more critical feedback provided by another reviewer. This individual expressed significant dissatisfaction, stating they "would not give this place any stars" and described the management style as "running like a Boot Camp." This strong negative sentiment points to potential issues with park rules, regulations, or the enforcement thereof, which may be perceived as overly strict or burdensome by some residents. The reviewer also mentioned that "Lot Rent is terrible" and complained about "continuous door notes for this and that," suggesting concerns about the cost of living in the park and potentially frequent communications regarding rules or violations.
The same negative review contrasts with a potentially more positive past, noting, "It’s was a beautiful and nice place to live with ur family. But for the last three to four years, it’s not good at all." This indicates a potential decline in the quality of living or management of the park in recent years. The reviewer strongly advises potential residents to "Save ur money and look somewhere else" and concludes by stating, "Too many problems here. This place don’t deserve one star, how about zero stars. And if u was to ask someone abt this place, they would tell u the true facts. No sugarcoating added." This feedback paints a concerning picture and suggests that prospective residents should exercise caution and seek further information from multiple sources before making a decision.
Another area of concern raised in the reviews is the physical condition of the park's infrastructure, with a comment that "Roads need repair." This could impact the ease of navigation within the park, as well as the overall aesthetic appeal and potentially the safety of the community. Deteriorating road conditions can be a significant inconvenience for residents and visitors alike.
Given the starkly contrasting views presented in the limited reviews, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive overview of the services and features offered at Wood Village Mobile Home Park. Typically, mobile home parks provide essential utility hookups (water, electricity, sewer) for each lot. They may also offer services such as trash removal and maintenance of common areas. Amenities can vary widely but might include laundry facilities, community centers, playgrounds, or recreational spaces. The absence of specific mentions of these services and features in the provided reviews makes it impossible to confirm their availability or quality at Wood Village Mobile Home Park.
Similarly, there is no promotional information available in the provided text. To inquire about current rental rates, lot availability, leasing terms, and any special offers at Wood Village Mobile Home Park, interested parties should contact the management directly at (205) 758-9553 or +1 205-758-9553. They will be able to provide the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding the park's offerings and any current incentives.
In conclusion, Wood Village Mobile Home Park in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, presents a mixed picture based on the limited online reviews. While described as a "huge" and "family friendly" community, significant concerns have been raised regarding management practices, lot rent, park rules, and the condition of the roads. The stark contrast between a potentially positive past and a seemingly negative present suggests that prospective residents should conduct thorough due diligence, seek recent and diverse opinions, and directly engage with the park management to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current living conditions and policies at Wood Village Mobile Home Park before making any decisions. The strong negative feedback warrants careful consideration and further investigation.

Oct 31, 2023 · Marilyn CovanHuge place. Roads need repair and homes squeezed in together but family friendly.
Oct 24, 2024 · Kori DanielI got a friend with some kids out there. It's nice, safe as well with its many systems in place. So if anything happened it will be known already. I get the feel that it could be a place I'd want to take my wife and son and live in. It feels like a slice of country in the city.
Feb 18, 2023 · Carl ShannonI live here currently l. My family and I Loved it for the first year and a half. The new year came, rent went up $20.00 without notice.Lots of water issues at the front of the park. Saying it’s fixed and a week later they’re back fixing it. Goes all day without water even to 7/8 pm.No notices given.Power and water are currently off due to a problem when they were trying to fix power. No telling when it’s coming back on.2 people work in the office and no one answers the phone and will rarely returns calls when leaving a voicemail.
Jan 10, 2022 · Regan BaileyIt's an okay place to stay, but it's over crowded lot fee $450 is way to high to only be paying for the lot and goes up every year it includes water but they only pay $15 so if you go over that your lot fee goes up for that month it's never an set price. Management is alot better they're very friendly. No other complaints other than very very overcrowded feels like my neighbors are in my front yard and the price is ridiculous.
