Woodhaven Mobile Home Park Introduce
For local users in Erie, Pennsylvania, who might be exploring long-term residential options, Woodhaven Mobile Home Park, located at 136 Pine Leaf Dr, presents a mobile home community situated in a country setting. While the platform category you are using is "rv parks near me," it's important to understand that mobile home parks primarily cater to individuals and families residing in manufactured homes on a long-term basis, rather than short-term RV stays. However, those searching within the "rv parks near me" category for a potential permanent living situation may come across Woodhaven Mobile Home Park, making a comprehensive and objective introduction based on available information crucial.
Based on recent reviews, Woodhaven Mobile Home Park presents a somewhat mixed picture. One of the most significant and concerning issues raised by a resident is a long-standing problem with the water quality at the park. For at least two years, the water has reportedly been unsuitable for basic household uses such as drinking, cooking, and brushing teeth. As a temporary solution, the park provides residents with two gallons of water per household per day, but residents are responsible for collecting this water themselves. This ongoing water issue is a critical factor that potential residents must consider, as it significantly impacts daily living and raises questions about the park's infrastructure and management's ability to resolve the problem effectively.
In addition to the water quality concerns, the infrastructure of Woodhaven Mobile Home Park also appears to be a significant issue. The roads within the park are described as "atrocious," suggesting poor maintenance and potentially hazardous driving conditions. Furthermore, the winter snow plowing services are labeled as "ridiculous," indicating inadequate clearing of snow and ice, which could pose safety risks and inconvenience for residents during the colder months. These infrastructure problems detract from the overall living experience and suggest a lack of investment in maintaining the park's physical environment.
One reviewer draws a stark contrast between the current and previous ownership of Woodhaven Mobile Home Park. They note that the previous owner "really took pride in taking care of the land and the tenants" and express disappointment that the new owners do not share the same level of care and commitment. This suggests a potential decline in management quality and a shift in priorities that has negatively impacted the residents' experience. The reviewer's plea for the new owners to "Do better!" underscores the level of dissatisfaction among at least some of the residents.
Despite these significant negative aspects, another reviewer offers a slightly more positive perspective, mentioning that some units have large lots and that the park is generally quiet. The comment about large lots could be appealing to potential residents who value outdoor space and privacy. The quiet environment might also be attractive to those seeking a peaceful residential setting away from the noise of more urban areas. The reviewer also notes that their son has a mobile home on the property and describes it as "well maintained," though it is unclear if this refers to the individual unit or the park as a whole.
The mention of "lots of older families" residing in Woodhaven Mobile Home Park suggests a potentially established and close-knit community. This could be a positive aspect for individuals seeking a stable and familiar neighborhood environment. However, it is important to balance this with the reported issues concerning water quality and park maintenance, which would affect all residents regardless of their family status or age.
Given the serious and ongoing water quality issue and the reported poor condition of the roads and snow plowing services, there is no information available to suggest any positive promotional offers or incentives for potential residents of Woodhaven Mobile Home Park. The focus of the reviews is on the existing problems within the community rather than any efforts to attract new residents. In fact, the negative feedback might serve as a deterrent for many prospective tenants.
For local users considering Woodhaven Mobile Home Park as a potential long-term residence within the "rv parks near me" search, it is crucial to carefully weigh the significant negative reports against the limited positive feedback. The persistent water quality problem, in particular, is a major concern that should not be overlooked. The poor road conditions and inadequate winter maintenance also detract from the overall living experience. While the quiet environment and potentially large lots may be appealing to some, these advantages are likely to be overshadowed by the fundamental issues with essential services and infrastructure.
The provided phone numbers, (716) 281-5031 and +1 716-281-5031, offer a direct means of contacting the management of Woodhaven Mobile Home Park. Potential residents are strongly encouraged to use these contact details to ask detailed and direct questions about the water quality situation, the condition of the roads, the snow plowing services, and the management's plans to address these issues. It would also be highly advisable to speak with current residents, if possible, to gain a more comprehensive and unbiased understanding of the living conditions within the park.
In conclusion, Woodhaven Mobile Home Park in Erie, PA, presents a complex scenario for potential residents. While it may offer a quiet, country setting with some large lots and a community with older families, it is currently plagued by a significant and long-standing water quality issue, poor road conditions, and inadequate winter maintenance. The change in ownership appears to have been accompanied by a decline in the level of care for the park and its tenants. Local users searching for long-term residential options within the "rv parks near me" category are strongly advised to proceed with extreme caution, conduct thorough due diligence, and seek comprehensive information about the current conditions and management's plans to resolve the serious issues before considering residency at Woodhaven Mobile Home Park.

Woodhaven Mobile Home Park Reviews
For two years there has been an issue with the water. No drinking it, cooking with it, brushing your teeth. They provide two gallons a day per household, but you must get it. Roads are atrocious, winter plowing is ridiculous. Previous owner really took pride in taking care of the land and the tenants. Wish the new owners cared even a smidge as much as him. Lots of older families there. Come on... Do better! 🤦♀️

Sep 25, 2023 · Lou BeyerleinThe roads are in dire need or repair and the drive is rough. A lot of the mobile homes are dilapidated and in serious need or repair. But for the most part, the park seems clean.
Feb 26, 2019 · Elisabeth NicewongerNew owners are very friendly, place is clean even in winter, good families are in park
Dec 17, 2018 · R BThe new owner seems to be a slumlord. It's gone way down hill since the previous owner.
