One of the standout features of Alder Springs Campground, as mentioned by a visitor, is that it is "beautifully maintained." This suggests that the campground prioritizes the upkeep of its grounds, contributing to a pleasant and comfortable experience for campers. The positive remark about the hosts, Tom and Mary, being "wonderful" indicates a welcoming and helpful management presence, which can significantly enhance a camper's stay. Their hospitality likely contributes to the overall positive atmosphere of the campground.

Oregon, particularly the area around Bend, is known for its stunning landscapes, including mountains, forests, and high desert terrain. Campers at Alder Springs can likely anticipate scenic vistas that add to the enjoyment of their outdoor experience. The specific nature of the view (e.g., mountain ranges, forests, or open skies) would be a further point of interest for potential visitors.
A unique aspect of Alder Springs Campground is its direct road access to hot springs and the playa. The mention of a "direct road to the playa" suggests proximity to a dry lake bed, which can offer opportunities for unique exploration and enjoyment, such as driving on the flat, open surface. Alder Springs Campground Reviews
It was beautifully maintained! Tom and Mary were wonderful hosts. The view is incredible. I highly recommend you check this place out (be sure to pack out your trash and be respectful of the area!) The hot springs has a direct road to the playa. Super fun to drive on and enjoy the stars.
Aug 11, 2021 · Kaitlyn EdwardsBesides being by the main road, this spot is perfect if you going to hike the Linton Lake trail. No fee made it even better. Beautiful area to camp at and explore.
Sep 29, 2019 · M.Rodriguez PhotographyConveniently located and FREE. Rarely available because first come first served only and its so remote a lot of campers stay the 14 day Max. Great place to find solitude and experience yourself alone in woods ( if this place scares you at night please don't consider dispersed camping further out in 3 sisters wilderness area! Soon amazing and calls for one to explore deeper but it's unforgiving rugged wilderness and easy to accidently get lost
Sep 06, 2020 · Ima OntourOn the Transamerica Bicycle Trail. Spent a very pleasant night here, going eastbound, about 43 years ago. Only drawback, no well, or pump; so bring your own water. Otherwise, a great place.
Aug 28, 2020 · rod rudingerVery nice and quiet campground. Everyone is respectful of their own space, and the grounds remain tidy with everyone packing out, and I’m assuming some maintenance.
