Paradise Campground Reviews
Wonderful campground. sites are close but not on top of each other, with lots of shrubbery that separates some sites so you have a feeling of privacy. Lots of trees which means lots of shade. You can access the McKenzie river trail right from the entrance of the campground. The hosts Cam and Rich were fantastic! Always available, helpful, kind and informative; very hardworking. Bathrooms were kept clean, sites were clean. Everything looked well cared for. Plenty of water but no showers. It's a large campground (60 something sites, I think) and very popular even though there are no hookups that I could see. Lots of large families in large RVs. Dog friendly. I stayed for 4 days in a small tent and felt safe and comfortable. I will definitely be staying again!
Jul 02, 2024 · Christine TBeautiful campground, hosts are working hard to keep everything super clean. Sites on the river are the best and there are plenty of them. Some sites are v small, only space for one tiny tent (but plenty of driveway space). Lots of sites tho, we swapped for a bigger one w no issues.
Sep 10, 2024 · Leigh ArmstrongThe day use area is very handy in the morning after dispersed camping nearby. Vault toilets and picnic tables to make coffee on are much better than digging a hole and making coffee on a rock. I didn't see anyone else. The boat launch area is beautiful as the sun begins to rise.
Jun 26, 2024 · Gabe DavisIt’s a nice place, very pretty and great sites the bathrooms are ok,and a hot springs is a few miles away if you’re looking for a shower. Lots of great trails around too Over all great place to stay. I highly recommend it.
Aug 05, 2024 · Isaac CanalesParadise campsite was amazing. We were afraid we weren't going to get a spot because we left and arrived pretty late and a lot of their capsites are first come first serve. Luckily, there were spaces available and we landed in a pretty cool spot. The spots are secluded with a good amount of privacy. Overall, it was a pretty quiet spot other than the rafters you could hear joyfully screaming in the distance as they floated down the rapids. The camp host was extremely friendly and knowledgeable and gave us a couple extra ideas of things to do locally. River is super cold, which means it's easy to eacape from the heat even when not getting into the water because the wind hits the cold water and provides natures air conditioning. Bathrooms were extremely clean and toilets were flushing, which was a nice surprise. Good place to camp if you are planning on doing the blue pool hike.
