Another camper described the campsites as "Beautiful campsites right by the water," emphasizing the prime lakeside location. They echoed the easy accessibility by noting it's "just 2 miles hiking along an easy shaded trail." They also mentioned the presence of "Some boats and bugs for company," indicating that while it's a natural setting with other lake users and insects, it's "otherwise a really nice overnight backpacking trip."

Regarding promotional information, the positive feedback from campers serves as a strong endorsement. Phrases like "Clean, spacious," "very scenic," and "beautiful campsites right by the water" are highly appealing. The ease of the hike-in (2 miles, little elevation gain, shaded trail) makes it attractive to a wider range of hikers, including those who might find longer or steeper hikes challenging. Anderson Point Reviews
Clean, spacious hike-in campground. Can be busy on weekends but has been mostly empty when I have been there on weekdays. About a 2 mile (40-50 min) hike from south Baker Lake trailhead with very little elevation gain. Very scenic for how easy the hike is, with views of Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuksan on clear days. Also accessible by boat from a boat launch across the lake from Anderson Point. A NW Forest Pass is required to park at the trailhead.
Sep 12, 2024 · Max ReckerBeautiful campsites right by the water. Very easy to get to (just 2 miles hiking along an easy shaded trail.) Some boats and bugs for company, but otherwise a really nice overnight backpacking trip.
May 14, 2023 · Vivian XiaoShort hike (about 2 miles) from the trailhead to an absolutely beautiful and scenic camping spot with room for several groups. I went in the middle of a week (thu/fri) and there was only one other person there. Highly recommended- even for a simple day hike to the lake. Wonderful for fall camping!
Oct 15, 2020 · Alex TitusIt was beautiful in clear weather, with great views of Mount Baker and Shuksan. Some sites are pretty exposed and windy until late evening, and easy water access was limited to the very tip of the point because of the low water level (probably about 15 feet down). There are two toilets, one with zero cover from its toilet trails; use the other one.
Apr 21, 2019 · Bryce SchoberGreat Campsite! Very clean and well kept. Comes with an even better view of Mt Baker. But be prepared to either take a gorgeous hike in or kayak across the lake to get there.
