Anthony Lake Campground Reviews
Beautiful and well kept campground! The hosts were welcoming and helpful. We drove from Texas and were very tired so it was nice to find such a beautiful place to camp at along with such wonderful hosts! We will definitely be back! I highly recommend this campground.
Sep 30, 2024 · Nhu Phi NguyenOne of the most beautiful campgrounds I have ever visited, and I have seen many.Well maintained, incredibly pretty with all the heath and fragrant trees, everywhere boulders, and a lake whose little tree island sits in front of Gunsight Mountain as if painted by Kinkaide just for you. Also pretty quiet due to good site separation, if you don't count the insects you need to guard against. The lake showed pleasant busyness with paddle boards and diverse small craft whose presence can't be refused for the sheer beauty of this in place!I write this after visiting during the longest triple digit heat wave I have experienced in Boise - what a welcome relief.
Jul 12, 2021 · Hubert SchwarthoffGreat views, great trails kayaking and fishing also camping if its not all reserved. Can't wait to see it in the winter there is also a ski lodge up there amazing runs tlld to us by some lodge workers.Half off Thursday's to ski In the winter.
Aug 22, 2020 · Jolene McCorkendaleWinter yurt rental. With the wood stove going, it's warmer than you think. Firewood is provided. Cozy with all the amenities needed for cooking and board games to keep you occupied as there is no cell service out there. A large igloo full of drinking water is provided. There is a pit toilet for taking care of business. The yurt is on the Nordic trail just a short way from the ski lodge. The mattresses on the bunk beds are comfy. DO bring a winter sleeping bag!
Mar 05, 2019 · Warren HolmesGreat family campground. We tent camped here with no issues. Spacious camp spots with lots of space between neighboring camp sites. Clean bathrooms. No showers that we found. Lake is nice - okay for swimming. Lots of trail heads off the campground for short day hikes. Highly recommend. Pro tip - do the Crawfish Lake hike. Go past the ski resort, several miles (it’s on the left and we’ll marked) (don’t go to the Crawdad Gulch the first one you come across- keep driving another mile or so) Great swimming at Crawdad Lake and scenic very 1.5 mile hike.
