Apr 17, 2025 · Angela LaBarronGreat place, this was our 3rd year under the new owners going up for trout season. Friendly people, try to make you feel welcome. Best shower house you'll ever find at a campground in my opinion.
Apr 08, 2025 · Matthew TvrdovskyWe've camped here the last two summers and have always enjoyed it. The grounds are neat and well maintained. It's very peaceful here and that's what we are looking for in a campground. The owner Doug and his family have always been friendly and helpful.
Nov 16, 2024 · Erin LuceMy family and I tent camped at Austin and we LOVED it. I'm a long-time camper and their bathhouse is the best one I've ever experienced. So clean and aesthetically pleasing. We came to the area to star gaze at Cherry Springs State Park. Doug and his family could not have been better hosts. Helpful with directions and recommendations. Note the area is very rural, very few grocery store and restaurant options, so plan ahead. We would definitely go back and stay at Austin Campground. Worth every penny!
Jul 21, 2024 · Alice LeonardAmazing place to put your head down. The cabin we had "Trout Run" was fairly new and very clean. The views of the valley in between the mountains were breathe taking. The campground owners Doug and Lynette are amazing people, friendly and very helpful. The night sky views of the stars were amazing.
