Bandon By the Sea RV Park Introduce
Located in the scenic coastal town of Bandon, Oregon, Bandon By the Sea RV Park offers a convenient and accessible camping experience for those exploring the southern Oregon coast. Situated at 49612 US-101, Bandon, OR 97411, USA, this RV park caters to travelers seeking "camping near me" in the Bandon area. While not a "jazzy resort," as noted by one reviewer, Bandon By the Sea RV Park provides a functional and well-maintained base for exploring the region's attractions, including its proximity to the ocean and other points of interest. The park appears to strike a balance between accessibility and a comfortable camping environment, making it a viable option for various types of campers.
The environment at Bandon By the Sea RV Park is described as "nicely landscaped" with "easily accessible sites." This suggests that the park prioritizes the aesthetic appeal of the grounds and ensures that maneuvering RVs into and out of campsites is relatively straightforward. While located right next to Highway 101, which results in "some noise at times," the overall environment seems to be well-kept and organized. One reviewer specifically mentions that despite having "many full time residents," the sites were in "good condition" and did not exhibit the unkempt appearance sometimes found in parks with a significant number of long-term occupants. This indicates a level of maintenance and community standards that contribute to a positive environment for all guests, whether they are passing through or staying for an extended period. The park's location just outside of town offers a blend of peaceful surroundings with convenient access to local amenities.
In terms of services, Bandon By the Sea RV Park offers a range of facilities to enhance the camping experience. According to one positive review, the park features "two sets of bathrooms" and a "laundry room," which are essential amenities for both short-term and long-term campers. The presence of a "club house" suggests a communal space where guests might be able to relax, socialize, or participate in park activities, although specific details about the clubhouse are not provided. The inclusion of a "gift shop" offers the convenience of purchasing souvenirs, basic necessities, or local crafts without having to leave the park. While one reviewer mentioned "trouble getting a good connection for cable TV" on a couple of occasions, this seems to be a specific issue rather than a general lack of service. The availability of cable TV hookups indicates an effort to provide entertainment options for guests. Overall, the services appear to be geared towards providing a comfortable and convenient stay for RV travelers.
The features of Bandon By the Sea RV Park contribute to its appeal as a "camping near me" option in the Bandon area. Another notable feature is the presence of the "nicest park area I have ever seen," suggesting well-maintained and enjoyable outdoor spaces within the campground. This could include green spaces for recreation, picnic areas, or other amenities that enhance the outdoor living experience. The park's proximity to the ocean, being about "½ mile from beach access," is a major draw for those wishing to explore the Oregon coast. This allows for easy trips to the beach for activities such as walking, exploring tide pools, or simply enjoying the coastal scenery. Additionally, its location "23 miles from Coos Bay" provides access to a larger town with a wider range of services and attractions.

Bandon By the Sea RV Park Reviews
This is the third time we have used this park. We come here because we like the area and it is generally not a problem to get a site for a convenient time. The park is not a jazzy resort but has nicely landscaped easily accessible sites. It is right next to hiway 101so there is some noise at times. The last two times I’ve had trouble getting a good connection for cable TV. Many full time residents but all sites were in good condition and did not have that look one finds in some parks that have full time residents. The park located just outside of town and most points of interest are reasonably close by car. Not my favorite place but OK.
Sep 13, 2024 · Vincent BernotClose to the ocean, large spaces, dog friendly, awesome staff. They have two sets of bathrooms, laundry room, club house, gift shop, and the nicest park area I have ever seen. About ½ mile from beach access. 23 miles from Coos Bay.
Jun 23, 2024 · Jennifer LeonardA little Tired. Pedestals are very short and outlets are near ground level. Combined with grass and weeds around it and sewer, not first rate and difficult for less agile to connect. Excessive speed bumps, some of which must be crossed at an angle which is not ideal for a large coach or trailer. No off leash dog area in spite of two large open areas. Pull through exit is DEEPLY POTHOLED, necessitating back out and then toad hookup on the driveway. Sharp turns. CELL tower at bottom of property so radiated EMF power is undoubtedly high.We had group reservations for a week since previous February for August with confirmed spots. Park arbitrarily moved one coach away from the group to one near the noisy 101 highway and would not relocate to an open spot near the group so their dog would not be on alert for the week from the large truck noise that run down 101. 👎
Aug 29, 2023 · Ian EalesA pretty good experience. Their office hours are short so e couldn't do laundry that required quarters.
Sep 08, 2024 · Joanne MonathOur stay was 3 months and it was excellent. Plenty of room for our motor home which is about 35ft and out towed and car.Very peaceful at night. The laundromat was small but clean and people were attentive about doing their laundry and getting out so the next person could use it. We have no complaints.
