Sunset Bay Campground Reviews
Sweet and cozy! The campsites were all very close together but everyone was so quiet which allowed us to enjoy the sounds of nature. Gorgeous foliage everywhere and friendly knowledgeable staff. Close by there’s a botanical garden, views of a cute lighthouse as well as a lovely beach where we were not disappointed by a gorgeous sunset. Be prepared to have little to no cell service at the campsite, but if you need a few bars the beach down the way had better service.
May 02, 2025 · Kara WrightBeautiful little campground with beach across the street. Hike to Arago Point starts here. Fabulous ocean views.
Dec 15, 2024 · Sue OverbyThis campground location is beautiful. The bathrooms are clean. People are friendly and gave us great hiking recommendations. The only issue we had was there is no cell service and the Wi-Fi was dysfunctional. The servers that hosted it had expired certificates so even if you could get access, all you could do is text and email. You could not get access to any sites.
Apr 10, 2024 · Terri SanneNice little campground in the trees with a stream running through. Decent sized campsite, we were in A18. My only complaint is that there were kids everywhere, riding bikes, scooters, yelling nonstop. I know this isn't the campgrounds fault but it was really loud. There's a trail that leads to the botanical garden, one of my favorite hikes of all time. Also a trail to the beach that goes under the road.
Sep 04, 2024 · Bonnie KirbyGreat campground!! Free hot showers and the facilities were super clean! The park ranchers were super helpful and gave tips on what to do in the area. They had firewood as well for sale and I had a really nice stay.
