Bitterroot Valley Rv And Campground Introduce
For local users exploring 'camping near me' options in the Hamilton, Montana area, Bitterroot Valley Rv And Campground, located at 1744 US-93, Hamilton, MT 59840, USA, presents a location along a main highway. However, recent customer reviews paint a concerning picture regarding the environment, management, and overall experience at this campground. It is crucial for potential visitors to carefully consider these reviews before making any decisions.
The environment surrounding Bitterroot Valley Rv And Campground, based on the provided reviews, appears to be significantly negative. Multiple reviewers describe the campground as an 'absolute eye sore' that 'devalues the surrounding properties.' These are strong indictments of the visual appeal and overall upkeep of the site. The presence of 'trash everywhere' further suggests a lack of cleanliness and maintenance, which could detract significantly from the camping experience for any visitor.
Beyond the aesthetic concerns, the reviews raise serious allegations regarding safety and the type of activity reportedly occurring at the campground. The mention of 'hard drugs' is a severe accusation that, if accurate, would create an unsafe and undesirable environment for all campers. Similarly, the presence of 'broken down vehicles' contributes to the visual blight and could also indicate a lack of management oversight. One reviewer claims the campground is 'more crowded than possibly legal,' raising concerns about safety regulations and the potential for an overstressed infrastructure.
The location along the freeway, while potentially convenient for access, also appears to create issues for nearby residents. One reviewer notes being 'stopped on the freeway, waiting for some crackhead in a totalled car to turn into the rv park' every evening. This paints a disturbing picture of the type of traffic associated with the campground and raises concerns about the safety and well-being of both campers and local commuters.
The overall sentiment expressed in the reviews is overwhelmingly negative. One reviewer explicitly states that the campground 'should be shutdown and levelled,' indicating a profound dissatisfaction with its current state. This extreme opinion underscores the severity of the issues raised in the other reviews.
Another significant concern raised by a local resident pertains to the management of pets at the campground. The reviewer, who lives nearby, states that 'they let dogs just run all over the place' and recounts multiple instances of having to chase dogs off their property to protect other pets and chickens. This lack of control over animals poses a potential threat to neighbors and could also be problematic for campers who are concerned about the safety of their own pets or who prefer a more controlled environment. The reviewer also mentions difficulty in contacting the campground management, stating, 'I can’t find a valid number for these people and I have sent numerous emails,' which raises questions about the responsiveness and accessibility of the campground operators.
Given the severity and consistency of the negative feedback, it is challenging to identify any positive features or services based solely on these reviews. The information strongly suggests a poorly maintained environment with potential safety concerns and a lack of responsible management. Any potential services that a typical RV park or campground might offer, such as hookups, restrooms, or recreational areas, are overshadowed by the significant negative issues highlighted by the reviewers.
In the absence of any positive feedback or promotional information within the provided reviews, it is impossible to objectively present any appealing features of Bitterroot Valley Rv And Campground. The overwhelming narrative is one of disrepair, potential illegal activity, and a lack of consideration for both campers and the surrounding community.
Therefore, for local users actively searching for 'camping near me' in the Hamilton, MT area, the available information strongly advises extreme caution regarding Bitterroot Valley Rv And Campground. The reviews paint a picture of a facility that may not provide a safe, clean, or enjoyable camping experience. Potential visitors should be aware of the serious allegations made by multiple individuals and consider alternative campgrounds or RV parks in the vicinity that have received more positive feedback.
While a phone number is provided – (406) 363-2430 or +1 406-363-2430 – contacting the management directly might offer an opportunity to understand their perspective or any planned improvements. However, given the detailed and negative nature of the reviews, it would be prudent for local users to exercise significant caution and potentially seek other options for their camping needs in the Bitterroot Valley.
In conclusion, based on the provided customer reviews, Bitterroot Valley Rv And Campground appears to be a facility with significant issues related to its environment, potential safety concerns, and management practices. Local users searching for 'camping near me' are strongly advised to carefully consider this information and potentially explore alternative campgrounds in the Hamilton, MT area that have received more favorable reviews to ensure a safe and enjoyable camping experience.

Nov 15, 2024 · Jake MI live nearby and they let dogs just run all over the place. I’ve had to chase dogs off my property multiple times to keep my other pets and chicken safe. I can’t find a valid number for these people and I have sent numerous emails.
Apr 25, 2024 · John WhiteThis establishment completely lied about the RV park being a nice manicured well-kept up RV park. I pulled up to the establishment and it is a complete mobile home park in a bad area. I had an altercation with one of the tenants because I was parked in a thorough fare for 15 minutes trying to get a hold of the owners. I don’t normally do reviews but I requested a refund after I was only there for a short 15 minutes or so and she denied my full refund when I should have gotten my whole $507 back she only gave me a refund of 100. She lied to my credit card company when I tried fighting the charge and said that I stayed there and which I did not, the lack of integrity and honesty And thievery is insane. I am now out A lot of money. I will be contacting law-enforcement to see if they can help in the situation or even contacting the city. I will be leaving reviews across-the-board in as many places as possible to forewarn people. Do not stay here unless you don’t mind being in a very trashy environment and risking bad service from the owners.
Jun 17, 2022 · ChrisMy wife and I travel extensively with our motor home logging about 30,000 miles a year. We absolutely love this park. It offers a rich feeling of home. Brett & Kaycee, the owners are fantastic and make you feel like family. We have stayed at some of the best 5 star parks you could imagine that have every amenity you could possibly imagine. Yet this park because of the owners and great neighbor's far surpass anywhere we have been. Far enough out of town so you feel like you get the best Montana has to offer. Yet, minutes away from town, so you can enjoy shopping, restaurants and many other unique opportunities. A genuine diamond in the rough, but a genuine unique feeling of comfort and satisfaction all the way around. When ever I visit Montana. They have a customer for life. Truthfully, it doesn't get better than this.
Jun 25, 2019 · John YakkeyTHIS IS NOT AN RV PARK!! This is for long-term use only. It's too bad they took a 1-night reservation for us anyway, leaving us high and dry when we arrived. Near-total lack of communication (they only responded after repeated phone calls and texts). Total lack of professionalism. This sign on the bathroom door says it all. Who treats their customers this way??
