Been here many times for camping, rafting, hiking, or just visiting. Today, (2018-05-30) the Forest Service was on site to prepare the camp areas for the new season. There was snow blockage along the road prior to the Memorial Day weekend. There are some huge trout (as evidenced by an occasional Bald Eagle swooping down to grab one from the water surface). If you time your visit right, the area is notorious for plentiful Huckleberries.Blair Lake trail (nearby) features meadows, forest, views of the Cascade Mountains, and even other lakes if you hike the entire 15+ miles one way. - Styx Allum
