Apr 13, 2025 · jeannie cadeGreat place to camp for the night. Enjoy peace and quiet and hang out by yourself or with family and friends. Last night and today was my first experience with peace river at the Brownsville camp and we were welcomed with such kindness by the camp host named Karen. She is truly a light in this world and im glad to have had such lovely conversation with her at the river. She also gave my daughter a few really cool shark teeth and sparked her interest in nature. Great campsite. Great people. Lovely quiet and peace.
Mar 31, 2025 · Demi StefanucciBeautiful, scenic, shaded park. Quaint and family friendly. Parking pass for a day is $3.00 and a camping spot is $22.10 a night and that's from eleven a.m. to Eleven a.m. strict. Sara, the park ranger is pretty punctual about those times, but was nice enough to not call the cops; only remind me that I had to be gone by then. The park has showers, tons of trails, bathrooms, and rope swings! The group spots look amazing as fallen trees provide seating and break up the empty space around the fire pits. A hawk was raising tiny floofs and both her and her mate were busy flying around catching food. The daily squirrel army cleanup crew are super fun to watch.
