Bucksaw Campground Reviews
Very clean, ground keepers are attentive as well. Law enforcement patrol through here as well, we really appreciated that. No atvs are allowed on property so be prepared to store elsewhere. Swimming area was decent. Other Campers were considerate and friendly. Curfew is 10pm. Visitors have to leave and no radios after that. Oh, give the deer something good for them. They're skin and bones.
Jul 02, 2024 · Audrey SingletonThis is my favorite campsite for family camping. The couple that operate the place are so amazing. They keep the place tip top and are extremely kind. We have been going there for years. No site is too far from a restroom and the marina is a quick 5 minute drive away just in case your ice melts too fast or you forget your lighter for your camp fire. Always a great getaway.
Aug 28, 2022 · Theron PeckWe just returned home from spending the weekend there. We had a very good time. We were there for our grandsons birthday in Clinton. The only thing I had any issue with was, the web site never said anything any having any sites with full hook ups. Wish I had know this. But of course that's my fault, I should have inquired more. We will definitely be back! Oh and sooo close to Truman Lake, and there is even a swimming beach area.
Jun 12, 2022 · cheryl dressbackBucksaw campground is one of my favorite places to stay. It is quite large with about 300 sites and they are spread apart. It has a really nice Beach and several playgrounds which are also really nice throughout the campground. The sites are pretty level, many with good views of the lake. For bike riders there is plenty of room for that with some trails that will take bikes as well. Some of the sites are basic some are electric and some have water as well. I am not sure if there are any with full hookups.
Jun 07, 2023 · Wayne KupplerThis is a lovely, quiet USACE park on a peninsula in Truman Lake. About 3 miles from 7 hwy. Very popular, so reserve early. Large, nicely kept, wooded campground with 3 loops. Nice showers and laundry rooms. Swimming beach area in B loop.
