Based on available customer feedback, the services and facilities at Camp Cardinal RV Resort appear to be in a state of positive transition under new management. While past reviews indicated significant issues with customer service, communication, and the functionality of amenities such as laundry, bathhouses, and toilets, more recent feedback suggests a positive shift. The new management, identified as Cory and Tiffany, is reportedly making noticeable improvements. It is crucial for prospective campers to consider both the historical feedback and the recent positive developments when evaluating this resort.
Historically, concerns were raised about the lack of communication from the management, the inoperability of laundry facilities, and issues with the cleanliness and functionality of bathhouses and toilets, including problems with AC and ventilation. These are important factors for any camper looking for basic comfort and convenience. However, the more recent feedback indicates that the new management is actively addressing these concerns and that things are "heading in the right direction." Potential guests should seek the most up-to-date reviews and information to ascertain the current status of these amenities.
On a more positive note, one reviewer highlighted a "great stay" characterized by cleanliness and fun, particularly praising the themed parties and entertainment offered for all ages. This suggests that Camp Cardinal RV Resort has the potential to create a lively and engaging atmosphere for its guests, with efforts put into organized activities and events. The reviewer also appreciated the friendly and safe environment, noting that the resort is small enough to feel comfortable and not overwhelming. This aspect could be a significant feature for families and those seeking a more intimate camping experience within the 'camping near me' options.
The features of Camp Cardinal RV Resort likely cater primarily to RV travelers, given its name. This typically includes RV sites with varying levels of hookups, such as electric (30 and 50 amp), water, and sewer connections. The availability and specifics of these hookups would be important for RV owners to confirm when booking. While not explicitly stated, it's possible that the resort also offers tent camping sites. Other potential features could include a dump station for RV waste, picnic tables and fire rings at campsites, and communal areas for recreation.
The mention of a pool in one of the negative reviews suggests that this is an amenity offered at the resort. If the bathhouse issues have been addressed by the new management, the pool could be a significant draw, especially during the warmer months. The themed parties and entertainment mentioned in the positive review indicate that the resort aims to provide more than just a place to park an RV or pitch a tent; they strive to create an engaging and enjoyable community experience for their guests. This focus on activities and a friendly atmosphere could be a key feature that sets Camp Cardinal apart for those seeking a more interactive camping experience close to home.

Camp Cardinal RV Resort Reviews
Great stay. Clean and fun! Love the parties and themed things for all ages to do. You can tell a lot of work goes into the entertainment. Love this place. Friendly, safe and small enough that it doesn't feel overwhelmed with campers.
Jan 14, 2025 · Andrew McDanielI so wanted to love this place but man they make it hard. The customer service is horrible, they cannot seem to communicate to anyone and asking for a call back is a waste of time. I have left my number numerous times both via phone call and in person in the office and nobody ever calls back. The laundry does not work, the bath houses and toilets do not work. So people cant shower before they enter the pool. The bath house does have urinals but the AC does not work nor is there any ventilation so they are humid and stink so bad. This place needs new management that actually cares. There is one young guy who works there that is the hardest working employee there. He is always on the go. I hope he is paid good to have to put up with this mess.I would like to add that this campground is under a new manager Cory and his wife Tiffany and it looks like things are heading in the right direction. I am excited to see the changes they have made thus far. I am looking forward to the things to come.
Oct 23, 2024 · Edward DeNealeOur stay this past weekend was great. I saw some of the reviews after the fact regarding racism, but we didn't get that feeling at all. Our group consisted of mostly Asians, a few Hispanics, and me (only white guy). Our interactions with the staff we very pleasant. This was our first time visiting here, so we did have some takeaways, such as picking a site closer to the store area, but that was on me. The mosquitos were pretty hardcore, but with all the water around, what can you really expect. We had a full hook-up RV site so we didn't use many of the other facilities, but when we did, it wasn't terrible. What we really enjoyed was the events for the kids. Although it was the beginning of October, the had a fun little trick-or-treating activity happening. I will definitely go back in the summer. So many more things to do.
Oct 08, 2024 · Kevin HessCamp Cardinal has very poor water quality, which takes a toll on your skin if you are there very long, even with the water filters. The mosquitoes are horrible, and the pipes burst frequently, leaving campers with no water some days or just a trickle at other times. Some staff are genuinely kind. Others struggle with that. Poor management from the top! Additionally, during my stay, the police were called to the campground for altercations on several occasions. I would recommend another campground wholeheartedly! The laundry on site does not work, and the bathrooms smell bad as well. The cost of the sites are way too high to have so many issues.
Oct 23, 2024 · Melanie AbbottHelping move a neighbor to site that had water, (she was going on 5 days with no water}. While I was there, the park manager showed up. I explained she had been without water for days. he got in my face about something I was not involved with, actually went to finger to my chest. Myself and 3 other guys got her moved.Went to the office the next day to get propane. Told the manager that he should think about snapping at me. He took off his jacket and stepped towards me. His wife stepped between us. I have no animosity towards guy. Barely know him. Told him nobody seems to return calls. They their call log and guess what? I have incoming calls and they were all marked as returned. Offered show my call log, but thing de-escalated.Got my propane and as installing my propane tank, he drives by in front of my site. and stops.About an hour later, his wife calls me and tells me they video cameras everywhere. I asked her not to delete any of as my attorney will be asking for it.Also none of the advertised extras are available such as internet, no laundry available, and nothing is their problem.
