Great campsite. Maybe a little tight for large travel trailer setups, but perfect for an average or small setup. Friendly Ranger staff and workers. The beach is one of the most beautiful I've seen and shorter walking distance than St. Andrews.The Nature Trail was very pretty as well. Too bad the pretty shell section has been either picked clean or crushed from heavy traffic.We will return if there is a campsite available. There is a washer and dryer at the restroom/ shower facility too. Very clean.

General Impression: Quiet Campground with small loop roads and mostly private sites.Campground Description: Small campground with just 68 sites set in 2 loops. The roads are a bit narrow for big rigs and the branches are encroaching on the roads and overhead in places. And some sites are just not suitable because of the trees overhead.Campsite # 39Our campsite was a gravel back in that was mostly level.It had with full hookups, 50 & 30 #thifty, including sewer which is really nice for a state campground. The downside was the sewer was at the very back of the site away from the other utilities and it appeared to be set up that way in all the campsites. So you may need an extra sewer hose.They have picnic tables at the sites with fire rings and layover grill attachment.Propane fill: no, but the closest location is Taking Care of Business Uhaul location about 7 miles away.They do have a dump station but it’s inside the back loop on a one-way road which means you have to go all the way around the loop to get to it and then around the other loop to get back to the exit.Wifi: No campground wifi, but Starlink and Verizon are fast enough for streaming.Noise Level:It’s mostly quiet, there is a bit of road construction going on over the bridge just across the lagoon that could sometimes be heard outside the RV.The county works really hard to keep the beaches dark for the wildlife, so it’s definitely dark enough to do some nice stargazing as long as you have one of the campsites that doesn’t have trees overhead.Amenities:There's one bathhouse in the center of each loop.Each has showers and toilets as well as a laundry sink and washer and dryer. The cost was $2 per cycle.One of the bathhouses even had a water bottle refill station and a lending library which was nice for a state park.Other facilities:Dog friendly:There are no off leash areas in this Campground. They have two dog pickup stations that are fully stocked; however, the only trash cans are the dumpsters at the entrance to the park. Dogs are not allowed on the beach. They have stickers in the sand that can get in your dog's feet. There are also signs close to the water warning of Gators so make sure to keep dogs away from the water edge.Camp store: No campstore.Grayton General store is about 1 mile from the campground. Publix 5 minutes away and Walmart are about 15 minutes away.Amazon Locker: UPS Store US Highway 98 Santa Rosa Beach – right next to the Publix.Camp staff interactions:The staff on check-in were very dismissive of our concerns about trying to navigate through the front gate. I was told "we've had rigs bigger than yours come through just fine."One of the traffic posts had been run over and they had fence posts roping off the sandy part where people had run off the shoulder.Clearly we weren't the first people having difficulty navigating through the tight space.We asked them if they could raise the exit gate so we could pass through that direction since it was a straight shot and they said "no they couldn't possibly."This was our only interaction with the camp staff and it wasn't the best first impression.Reservation process: online and the website is user friendly.Additional info:The website says maximum vehicle length is 40 feet but there were some very tight turns and low hanging branches for large rigs. Front entrance is extremely narrow with traffic poles on one side and a shoulder drop off on the other. The lane to turn is too narrow to make without either running over some of the traffic poles or running off of the shoulder into the sand. One of the traffic poles has been broken off from people running over it to get in the gate.Cost $48.14/ night$30/night$7/utility fee$6.70/reservation fee+ Taxes on all those feesValue: It’s still a good value for what you’re getting; however, I wish they would get rid of all the fees and just call a spade a spade – If you’re just staying one night it’s $48.14.

Great location to camp. Small sites but most are quite private with plants on the sides. Mostly very level ground. Older facilities, but heated. Have to arrive before 5 PM or make arrangements. Good T-Mobile signal.

Beautiful park and friendly staff! We are in the old loop, site #14 with the lake right behind us. It's secluded and private. I actually liked the old loop better than the new loop because it's wooded and private. The newer loop can fit bigger rigs though. The bathrooms are nice and clean. We haven't used the showers since we have full hook ups here. The beach is absolutely gorgeous!!! A little bit of a walk from the campground, but a very short drive if you are taking much with you. We have been to the 30-A area many times, it's always a treat!!

Great campground! It has everything you need. If you Don't mind a long walk. You can even walk to the beach. If you would rather drive to the beach. There are plenty of RV sized spaces there at the beach
