Topsail Hill Preserve State Park Cabin Loop Reviews
All time favorite place to camp the past 14 years. Well maintained. More like a resort. Convenient to everything but a quiet place. Short bike ride or tram ride to the beach boardwalk which is a fairly long walk.
Nov 25, 2024 · cindy vickGreat park to hike. Convenient facilities at end of each trail. Tram is available if you get tired for ride back to lot.
Feb 28, 2025 · bill whiteWe've been here a lot with the camper, but just tried the bungalow for the first time. It was actually pretty nice for the price, compared to other local stays. Had plenty of room for sleeping. One bed and a pull out couch, plus there was room for an air matress. Nice screened in porch, the garage is a bit small for larger vehicles.
Aug 21, 2024 · Nathan HallWe stayed in the tent only zone. It was one of the best camp sites I've ever been to. The bathrooms were clean and really close to the tents. Between the individual tents there was lots of room and because of the forest you could barely see or hear your neighbours. Each individual camping spot had access to water and electricity and had its own fireplace. The beach is beautiful and about a 20min walk away from the tent only zone (but there is a free shuttle going there if you're lazy).
Mar 09, 2024 · Sarah RIt has been great except for storms that have caused a double red flag, and we can't get into the water for days, we don't know if it'll change today.Boooo!!!The waves and undertow/ rip tide are dangerous , and that's what we have almost all the time in North Carolina beaches. They don't close, though. Tough call. Yes, it's frustrating. The water is so beautiful even with the waves and is less rough than home. And we can't touch it! :(We drove to a different county, Pensacola, where the water was open even though waves were the same or bigger and water wasn't pretty, greenish brown. It just wasn't worth the trip. And the atmosphere wasn't as neat as nice. But if it saves lives, it's the right decision!!
