Camp Rainbow Mountain Introduce
For local residents seeking "camping near me" in the East Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania area, Camp Rainbow Mountain, located at 210 Mt Nebo Rd, presents itself as a potential getaway destination. While the name suggests a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere, recent user reviews provide a mixed perspective that local users should carefully consider when evaluating this option for their outdoor or cabin rental needs. This introduction aims to objectively analyze the potential environment, services, and features of Camp Rainbow Mountain based on the provided address and recent customer feedback, allowing local users to make informed decisions.
The address of Camp Rainbow Mountain in East Stroudsburg places it within the scenic Pocono Mountains region of Pennsylvania. This area is known for its natural beauty, including rolling hills, forests, and various recreational opportunities. The environment surrounding 210 Mt Nebo Rd likely offers a woodland setting, potentially providing a sense of seclusion and immersion in nature for those seeking "camping near me" with a natural backdrop. However, the user reviews do not specifically elaborate on the natural environment of the camping or cabin areas themselves, focusing more on the on-site facilities and their condition. Local users interested in the specific natural surroundings of Camp Rainbow Mountain may need to seek additional information or perhaps visit the location to assess its appeal based on their environmental preferences.
Based on the user reviews, the services at Camp Rainbow Mountain appear to include cabin rentals and access to certain amenities, notably a pool and a "nightclub" (described as a bar with louder music). However, the reviews also highlight significant issues with the upkeep and quality of these services. One reviewer mentioned staying in an "overpriced" cabin, suggesting that while accommodation is offered, the value might be a concern. The advertisement of a hot tub and sauna, both reported as broken by a user, indicates a discrepancy between advertised amenities and their actual availability. Furthermore, a review pointed out an overflowing trash can near the cabins that was not promptly addressed, raising concerns about cleanliness and maintenance. The negative feedback regarding overpriced drinks at the pool and nightclub, coupled with inattentive bartenders, suggests potential issues with the service quality in these areas. For local users searching for "camping near me" with expectations of well-maintained facilities and attentive service, the recent reviews indicate that Camp Rainbow Mountain may currently fall short in certain aspects.
The features of Camp Rainbow Mountain, as gleaned from the reviews, include a pool, which seems to be a popular spot despite reported issues with cleanliness (bugs) and overpriced drinks. The presence of a "nightclub" or bar with music suggests an attempt to provide on-site entertainment. The availability of cabins indicates an option beyond traditional tent camping for local users seeking "camping near me" with more structured accommodation. However, the broken hot tubs and sauna detract from the advertised features. The mention of a trail to the cabins implies that the property might be spread out, potentially offering some degree of privacy or access to walking areas, although the trash issue along this trail is a significant drawback. The varying music selection at the pool, as mentioned in one review, could be a minor feature or a point of contention depending on individual preferences. Overall, while Camp Rainbow Mountain offers features like a pool and cabins, their current condition and the quality of associated services appear to be areas of concern based on recent user experiences.
The provided user reviews do not contain any positive feedback regarding recent promotional offers or improvements. Instead, they express disappointment with the current state of the facilities and services compared to past experiences. One reviewer specifically mentioned missing a former bartender and the overall cleanliness of the location, suggesting a decline in standards. The lack of any positive comments about recent promotions or special deals implies that local users searching for "camping near me" should not expect any currently advertised incentives based solely on this information. It is possible that Camp Rainbow Mountain might offer seasonal rates or group discounts, but this cannot be confirmed from the provided reviews. Local users interested in potential promotions or the current pricing structure would need to contact Camp Rainbow Mountain directly using the provided phone numbers, (570) 223-8484 or +1 570-223-8484, to obtain the most accurate and up-to-date information. Given the negative feedback regarding the value of the cabin rental and the prices of drinks, it would be prudent for local users to inquire about pricing and any ongoing offers before making a booking.
In conclusion, Camp Rainbow Mountain in East Stroudsburg, PA, offers a location within the scenic Poconos, with potential for a natural environment appealing to those seeking "camping near me." It features cabin rentals, a pool, and a nightclub. However, recent user reviews raise significant concerns regarding the upkeep of facilities (broken hot tubs and sauna), cleanliness (trash issues, bugs in the pool), and the quality and pricing of services (overpriced drinks, inattentive bartenders, overpriced cabins). Local users considering Camp Rainbow Mountain for their camping or cabin needs should carefully weigh these recent experiences and consider contacting the establishment directly to inquire about the current condition of the facilities, pricing, and any potential improvements or offers. The discrepancy between advertised amenities and reported issues suggests that an informed decision requires direct communication and potentially a visit to assess the current state of the property.

Camp Rainbow Mountain Reviews
Getaway turned Ghetto-wayThe pool is where it's at. We stayed in a cabin... Thought it was over priced. The website advertises a hot tub, there are 2 and both are broken. They advertise a sauna, again broken. The trash can at the top of the trail to the cabins was overfull and trash was everywhere and that's what we looked out on from our porch. I had to ask to have it emptied and it was the next day.The drinks are over priced at the pool and nightclub. Btw, the nightclub is a bar but louder musicBartenders don't really care that you're there and will keep you waiting forever
Aug 02, 2022 · Brian JansonLet’s talk about it.$15 for a pool full of bugs. $18 for two shots that aren’t even filled properly. Prices for me are no problem but then give the presentation. Garbage all over the walkway behind the pool. Girl was playing music over her phone. They couldn’t decide what ius gay people wanted to listen to so the went with classic rock 😒 what has happened to this place. There use to be a bartender named Anna who use to work there. She made great drinks and had a infectious personality. Every one looks like they hate their job. I miss the clean rainbow mountain
Jul 08, 2024 · T MarieI would like to share my experience here. I read the many bad reviews on this campsite and still chose to book a weekend for my birthday with my wife and friends. I booked a cabin that sleeps 6 online. Before arriving, I received an email letting me know that my cabin would be shared with 6 other random people that I have never met. Would not be an issue if it had been disclosed before booking and if it was a lower price. When I called to ask about this, the front desk informed me that these people would have unlimited access to my room through a shared door/key and that since they were splitting the cabin, that there would only be 2 beds available for my party of 6. I asked the front desk worker why they would advertise a private cabin that sleeps 6, allow me to book months in advance, then overbook it with another party. When I said there would not be enough beds for everyone, she suggested that I sleep on the floor.I got all of this in a written email and filed a charge back due to the fact that they double booked my cabin and could not provide what I paid for, which the campground had the balls to contest.Would never recommend this place. I actually find them to be despicable.Instead, the KOA Delaware water gap is an amazing campground and has made me a lifetime camper.
