Based on glowing reviews from fellow campers, Cranberry Run Campground offers a truly enjoyable experience. One visitor recounted a "really enjoyed" two-day trip, emphasizing its family-friendly nature. The beauty of the location was also highlighted, alongside the satisfaction with the assigned tent site. For those who appreciate a peaceful night's sleep, the "no loud music after 11 pm" policy is a significant plus, contributing to a serene camping environment. The convenience of nearby bathrooms was also noted, although one minor point was the wetness in the bathrooms due to the showers.
For those last-minute needs or forgotten items, Cranberry Run Campground features "a small store," a convenient amenity that can save the day. Furthermore, the location offers "plenty to do nearby if you feel like leaving the site," suggesting opportunities for local exploration and activities beyond the campground itself. The respectful nature of fellow campers also contributes to a positive and harmonious atmosphere.
Another enthusiastic reviewer couldn't "say enough good things about this place," particularly commending the hospitality of the family that owns it. This personal touch can significantly enhance the camping experience, making guests feel more welcome and valued. This interaction highlights the family-oriented nature of the campground.
Accommodation options include "very rustic" cabins, which offer a chance to truly connect with nature while still having the convenience of charging electronic devices for emergencies. The campground strikes a balance between feeling "unplugged" and maintaining essential connectivity. Its location provides the best of both worlds: it's a "short drive to town" for supplies (like the local Walmart) yet feels "very disconnected from the hustle and bustle," allowing for a genuine escape.
Nature enthusiasts will appreciate the campground's proximity to "Bushkill Falls," described as a "great day trip" and "so scenic." This nearby attraction adds significant value for those looking to explore the natural beauty of the Poconos region. This suggests that Cranberry Run Campground offers seasonal activities and fosters a sense of community that encourages repeat visits.

Cranberry Run Campground Reviews
I really enjoyed my two-day trip here. It is family friendly. Ellen was very nice. It's a beautiful location. We loved the tent site that we were assigned. No loud music after 11pm. Clean and safe. The bathrooms were close by. My small, only complaint is that the bathrooms get very wet due to the showers. There's a small store in case you forgot anything. Plenty to do nearby if you feel like leaving the site. The other campers were very respectful. I will definitely come back!
Sep 03, 2024 · Lori LeeI can't say enough good things about this place. The family that owns it we're very hospitable. Our children played with their awesome son the majority of our trip leaving us adults plenty of time for R&R. The cabins were very rustic and I truly felt the connection to Nature, being pretty much unplugged the whole weekend yet still having my phone charged for emergencies. It was a short drive to town to pick up supplies at the local Walmart but also felt very disconnected from the hustle and bustle. The camp is also fairly close to bushkills falls which was a great day trip and so scenic. The pool was amazing and gave my children many hours of fun. I didn't have any luck fishing but they do have a pond with a little dock to fish from. When it came time to leave no one wanted to go home and the very next day everyone was asking when we could go back. We're now planning a trip for October because they are hosting a Halloween event.Update: 2nd trip was as great as the first. The whole family cant wait to visit again in may when they open for the season.
Oct 21, 2024 · Stacy McGee (Stacy)Honestly the place is pretty getto. The office is hardly open you have to call for the people who live there to come to the office. The guy owner is VERY RUDE! The bathrooms are scary. The staff if there is any…. don’t come around the campground at all. We slept in a tent and it worked but I couldn’t image taking a RV into that campground. The place is very unkept and the pictures a deceitful. The pathway to the campground is full of potholes. The water also has a nasty smell. The photos I attached were of the “nice bathroom” the other bathroom is legit a cabin.
Aug 11, 2024 · Brieanna WinchThe entire experience with cranberry run campground was a great one! I came with a large group of about 20 people and Ellen was very accommodating and friendly. The group site had plenty of room for all of us to set up, albeit on a large hill. I did wish the fire pit was a bit larger, but we managed just fine. There was a silent disco at the game room on Saturday night which was a lot of fun. We would definitely come back again!
Aug 21, 2023 · Brielle GrecoMy family stayed at a tent site this weekend and it was so quiet and peaceful. Very friendly owners. My car wouldn't start our last day and they came right up and jumped it for me. Thank you again. We would come back to this campground again if ever in the area.
