They found the owners to be "very nice" and appreciated the straightforward process of arranging their stay with a same-day call. Their experience highlights the welcoming and accommodating nature of the campground management. While acknowledging that the campground primarily serves long-term working individuals, they were grateful for the availability of an overnight spot, suggesting that short-term stays are indeed accommodated.
One of the key features mentioned by Gary and Bonnie is the availability of "full hook up with great WiFi." This is a significant advantage for RV travelers, providing essential connections for electricity, water, and sewer, ensuring a comfortable and convenient stay. The inclusion of great WiFi is also a valuable amenity in today's connected world, allowing guests to stay in touch, plan their activities, or simply relax with online entertainment. Their appreciation for "doing business the old fashion way" further suggests a personal and perhaps more traditional approach to customer service at Castle Care Campground.
Another long-term guest who stayed at Castle Care for four months shared a positive experience, stating, "We stayed at Castle Care for four months and loved it! It's a great spot near Marietta. Kurt does a great job keeping the grounds maintained and you have some breathing room between you and your neighbors." This review emphasizes the campground's favorable location near Marietta, the consistent maintenance of the grounds, and the appreciated space between campsites. The mention of "breathing room" suggests that even though it's a smaller campground, the layout provides a sense of personal space and avoids an overly crowded feel.
Based on these reviews, the environment of Castle Care Campground appears to be well-maintained and offers a degree of spaciousness between sites, which is a notable feature for any "camping near me" option. The proximity to downtown Marietta implies that while offering a camping experience, it is conveniently located near urban amenities, historical sites, restaurants, and other attractions that the city has to offer.
In terms of services, the mention of "full hook up" is crucial for RVers, indicating that essential utilities are available at the campsites. Castle Care Campground Reviews
Wanted to stay close to Downtown Marietta to see the sites, so found this little campground just couple miles up the road. Very nice owners and very simple to arrange to stay, called the day before and was told no problem. Meet with owner awhile after setting up. Just very simple laid back enjoyably stay. This is a small campground and is mostly long term working man’s setup, but has a few over nighters, thank goodness they had a spot for us. Full hook up with great WiFi. Love doing business the old fashion way, Enjoyed Historical Marietta so much. Thanks for accommodating us. Gary & Bonnie Stuyvesant

May 20, 2021 · Kevin HaughtNice campground. Easy in and out. Spot #1 is a pull in, back out, due to utilities location. Wifi was Ok, intermittent, as we've found it to be at most campgrounds, just is what it is. Hosts was quite nice and accommodating. Would stay here for sure if we are in the area.
Nov 10, 2022 · Sabina HaydenThis place has the best Wi-Fi on the planet!! (This is/was kind of a joke because I maintain the wi-fi; but it's nice to see some other comments about decent wi-fi). As far as the guy commenting about overnight stays, this is an intractable problem -- with only 21 sites, the owner can't very well schedule somebody 5 months ahead, and then be faced with a situation of having to turn away LONG TERM guests because some spot is held so far in advance. The comment doesn't appreciate the logistics of space allocation.
