- New Fire Pits: Many camping spots are equipped with new fire pits, providing a designated and safe area for campfires, cooking, and enjoying the warmth of a fire during cooler evenings. - Reservoir Access: The proximity to Cedar View Reservoir provides opportunities for boating and enjoying the waterfront scenery. While swimming is mentioned, the murky water might deter some visitors.
- Family Gathering Potential: One reviewer noted that the campground might be a "nice spot for family gatherings," possibly due to the spaciousness and the availability of amenities like fire pits and tables.

- Scenic Views: The overall scenery of the reservoir and its surroundings is described as "nice," offering opportunities for photography and enjoying the natural beauty of the area.
It's important to note the comment about the "really bumpy" road leading to the campground. While manageable with a pickup truck, those with other types of vehicles should be prepared for a potentially slower and less comfortable drive. This is a practical consideration for planning your visit.

Cedar View East Campground Reviews
Pretty empty. Lots of camping spots. Tried fishing. But no luck. A lot of spots had new fire pits but not a single fire was set. New tables and bathrooms. Even a boat ramp! I seen some kids swimming. But the water was really murky. I'd come back to walk around the reservoir and take pictures of the nice scenery. Note: there were a lot of crawdad shells. Probably a nice spot for family gatherings. The road to this place was really bumpy! It wasn't difficult with a pickup. But with a different car would have taken longer. No light pollution, so star gazing was amazing!!!!!
