While the proximity to Clear Lake itself isn't explicitly mentioned in the provided reviews, the name implies its presence as a local natural attraction that might enhance the camping experience. The surrounding area of Dafter, Michigan, is located in the Upper Peninsula, known for its natural beauty, including forests, lakes, and potentially opportunities for hiking and other outdoor activities. However, one significant environmental factor mentioned in a negative review is that "they let people run generators all night," which could potentially disrupt the peacefulness of the environment for some campers.

Positive feedback mentions "hot showers," "laundry" facilities, and "clean bathrooms," indicating that these basic but important amenities are available and well-maintained. The campground operates on a "cash only" basis, with a nightly rate of $32.00, which is important for potential visitors to note for payment purposes. The welcoming attitude of the staff, as described in one review, suggests a positive service aspect. However, the negative review regarding the allowance of generators running all night raises concerns about the campground's policies on noise and the potential impact on the quality of sleep and overall enjoyment for other campers. The "great little campground" description suggests a smaller, potentially more intimate setting compared to larger campgrounds. Its location in Dafter, MI, provides access to the natural attractions of the Upper Peninsula, although the specific proximity to Clear Lake and other local features isn't detailed in the reviews.

Local users interested in any potential promotions should contact Clear Lake Campground directly using the provided phone numbers. Given the limited information, it's challenging to assess any specific promotional strategies beyond the basic pricing and the positive word-of-mouth regarding the friendly atmosphere.
The customer reviews offer contrasting perspectives on Clear Lake Campground. One reviewer had a very positive experience, emphasizing the welcoming nature of the people and the availability of essential amenities like hot showers, laundry, and clean bathrooms. The cash-only payment and nightly rate were also noted as factual information. The other review, while acknowledging that it's a "nice campground," raises a significant concern about the noise from generators running all night, which could be a major deterrent for campers seeking a peaceful environment. These differing experiences highlight the importance of considering both the positive and negative feedback when evaluating Clear Lake Campground for a potential stay.

When considering Clear Lake Campground through the "camping near me" platform, it's advisable to weigh the positive reports of hospitality and amenities against the potential noise issue. Clear Lake Campground Reviews
Great little campground! We needed a one-night stay and they welcomed us with open arms! Actually, they were having a campground potluck and immediately invited us to join them, even though we had nothing to contribute. Such friendly people. Hot showers, laundry, clean bathrooms. Cash only-$32.00 a night!

Jan 29, 2025 · Richard FeldGreat location. Fire wood (dry and burns) ice, and ice cream sold on site. Swimming and fishing were great! Lots of play structures for kids. Camp operators were very friendly. Electric sites, clean bath house, washers and dryers on site. Quite park.
