Creekside Cabins

Creekside Trail, Salamanca, NY 14779, USA

4.0
These cabins are fairly rustic, mostly of 2x4 and pine board construction, with no electricity. They have propane cooking stoves (with pilot lights) and wood heating stoves (you can order wood from the main office and have it delivered). While traditionally this loop only had pit toilets, this year they finished building a really nice shower/toilet/dishwashing station, with a family bathroom and drinking fountain/bottle filling station. These cabins are fairly nice, though we ended up being on the road side instead of the creek side of the access road, and there was a bit more noise because of that. As we visited with friends in a nearby cabin on the same loop, not all of the wood stoves are the same, and ours was a little harder to fit some of the longer pieces of wood we got delivered into it, but our friends' stove wouldn't have had the same problem. - Hex Kleinmartin
