The environment surrounding Creekside Cabins is truly captivating. Located along a creek, the area offers a serene and picturesque backdrop for your getaway. This location serves as an ideal base for exploring the natural wonders of the Salamanca area and enjoying the simple pleasures of outdoor living.
While the cabins at Creekside are described as fairly rustic, constructed primarily of 2x4 and pine board, they provide essential amenities for a comfortable stay in nature. Each cabin is equipped with a propane cooking stove, complete with a pilot light, allowing you to prepare your own meals with ease. For cooler evenings, a wood heating stove is provided, ensuring warmth and a cozy atmosphere inside the cabin. Firewood can be conveniently ordered from the main office and delivered directly to your cabin, making it easy to stay warm and enjoy the ambiance of a crackling fire.
Historically, the loop of cabins relied on pit toilets. However, recent upgrades have significantly enhanced the guest experience. A newly constructed shower/toilet/dishwashing station is now available, offering modern conveniences while maintaining the rustic charm of the location. This facility includes a family bathroom, providing added privacy and convenience for families with children. Additionally, a drinking fountain and bottle filling station are available, ensuring easy access to fresh water throughout your stay.
It's worth noting that the cabins do not have electricity or indoor plumbing. This aspect truly allows for an immersive experience in nature, encouraging guests to disconnect from electronic devices and embrace a simpler way of living during their stay. The provision of the separate shower house ensures that basic hygiene needs are met without compromising the rustic integrity of the cabins themselves. Guests should be prepared for this off-grid experience and embrace the opportunity to reconnect with the natural world.

The "Creekside" loop is particularly favored by families, suggesting a welcoming and enjoyable environment for all ages.
While most guests have positive experiences, some minor points to consider include the potential for noise from the roadside for cabins located on that side of the access road. Additionally, there may be slight variations in the wood stoves provided in each cabin, with some potentially being a little smaller or having a different design than others. However, these are minor details in the context of the overall positive feedback regarding the natural beauty and rustic charm of Creekside Cabins.

Creekside Cabins Reviews
These cabins are fairly rustic, mostly of 2x4 and pine board construction, with no electricity. They have propane cooking stoves (with pilot lights) and wood heating stoves (you can order wood from the main office and have it delivered). While traditionally this loop only had pit toilets, this year they finished building a really nice shower/toilet/dishwashing station, with a family bathroom and drinking fountain/bottle filling station. These cabins are fairly nice, though we ended up being on the road side instead of the creek side of the access road, and there was a bit more noise because of that. As we visited with friends in a nearby cabin on the same loop, not all of the wood stoves are the same, and ours was a little harder to fit some of the longer pieces of wood we got delivered into it, but our friends' stove wouldn't have had the same problem.
