The environment of Davis Camp Park is described as "pretty good" and benefiting from a strategic location "just on the edge of town." This proximity to Bullhead City offers the advantage of easy access to local conveniences and services while still providing a camping atmosphere. The fact that "the traffic is not bad" suggests a relatively peaceful setting without the noise and congestion of being in the heart of the city. Furthermore, the presence of "rocks near northbreach" with "fun petroglyphs" indicates a unique cultural or historical element within or near the campground, offering an opportunity for exploration and discovery for those interested in local heritage.
One of the standout features of Davis Camp Park, according to visitor reviews, is its cleanliness and maintenance. Guests have noted that the campground "seems well kept and clean," and specifically mentioned that the "showers, laundry, bathrooms were all clean." These are crucial aspects for any camper, ensuring a comfortable and hygienic stay. The availability of laundry facilities is particularly beneficial for longer stays, while clean showers and bathrooms contribute significantly to overall satisfaction.
For pet owners, Davis Camp Park appears to be a welcoming destination. The presence of a "great little dog park/walking area" is a significant advantage, providing a dedicated space for furry companions to exercise and socialize safely. Additionally, one reviewer highlighted the "free range of beach for dogs to swim," indicating that the campground offers exceptional opportunities for dogs to enjoy the water. The encounters with "burros roam camp, and visit your window looking for yummy morsal" and "friendly roadrunners share a hotdogs or two" add a unique and potentially charming element to the camping experience, suggesting a close interaction with local wildlife.

Friendly and helpful staff can greatly enhance the overall camping experience, providing assistance and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
However, it's important to be aware of the spacing between campsites. One reviewer mentioned that "you will be wall to wall with other people so know you have very little space." This suggests that the campground can be quite crowded, potentially offering less privacy than some might prefer. While this didn't detract significantly from the reviewer's overall positive experience (as they stated they "would stay here again"), it's a factor to consider if you prioritize spacious and secluded campsites. The reviewer did note, however, that their experience of having the "dog park to ourselves" might indicate that the level of crowding can vary depending on the time of year or week.
Another significant feature of Davis Camp Park is its convenient location relative to the casinos in Laughlin. One reviewer specifically mentioned that it is within "walking distance to casinos in Laughlin," which could be a major draw for those interested in entertainment and gaming options during their stay. This proximity offers a unique blend of outdoor camping and access to urban amenities and nightlife.

Davis Camp Park Reviews
Pretty good camp grand. Also in a good location just on the edge of town so the traffic is not bad. Seems we'll kept and clean. Showers, laundry, bathrooms were all clean. Great little dog park/walking area. Most of the staff - the folks at the front who check you in- are nice. You will be wall to wall with other people so know you have very little space. Overall good. I would stay here again but maybe not a week.

Free range of beach for dogs to swim. No one here, have the dog park to ourselves. Staff is outstanding. Our first time, home away from home, walking distance to casinos in Laughlin. Can't say enough about it. Stayed two weeks while house hunting from WA State.

Feb 16, 2025 · Betty TempletonLove love love this place. I hate to leave here we pull our rv onto a site right on the Colorado River, with the mountains on the other side a small private beach right in front of you. It's great, it is dry camping that is the only hard part no hookups at all, but still one of my favorite places to stay.
Mar 19, 2025 · kim goddardThe staff here were very nice usually. RV sites were quite spacious. Unfortunately lots of road noise especially truck air brakes coming down the hill and lots of noisy motorcycles. It's in the flight path for the airport with lots of planes and helicopters day and night. Way to many noisy barking dogs everywhere day and night which is always annoying. Very convenient to shops and the casinos though.
